Essential grid isn’t working correctly with the new updated theme – when working within elemnetor it keep glitching. Essential grid also doesn’t display when slider revolution is activated like it used to?
I no longer have access to support forums which is a shame – I think it is unfair to remove support for loyal members of your theme so so many years. I really don’t like this new update without warning as others have mentioned, I am having to overhaul change my website.

I have test the Essential grid with the latest version of the theme I have created a new grid in it then I create a block and set that gallery using shortcode of the gallery then I check the preview of it and I found no issue it is working fine with the revolution slider plugin too. I bought additional support when I purchased this theme, however, I cannot use this version at this point in time because of the learning curve. Two questions, will you still support previous versions before 4.0? If so, can I get a refund for the theme since I cannot use it right now? If you don’t support previous versions, can I get a refund for that as well? Thank you.

No, sorry to say that but we do not support the old versions before 4.0 anymore.
For the Refund: Sorry to say that but we are the support team and we only provide our dedicated support for the Theme Options related issues here, we do not have any access to the refund requests, that can be handled by Envato and the Theme Author, Envato handles all the payments, distributions and refund requests. Sorry to say, that we didn’t officially test this because as you know from version 4.0 of our theme the WP Bakery is no more compatible with the theme so we didn’t make any test using the WP Bakery plugin. You can check it at your own risk.

Yes you can set the video by just enabling the video option on the inner section once you enable the video option you can set the video you want please check the image for a better reference: i.is.cc/1AKUnAaH.png
To set the video with the menu and social icon you have to add the below code in the Dashboard >> UDesign >> Theme Options >> Custom CSS & JS then paste the code in the CSS box.

Then save settings and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.
I have been using the Udesign theme for many years and did not realize of the major 4.0 release. It is a HUGE learning curve with the new interface and functionality. I just purchased it the other day and was extremely frustrated that this occurred for the quote to design a website for my customer – now I will be losing money for the learning curve I have to spend time on. Plus the fact there are no videos and the ones I did find there is no narration and it displays at high speed that you cannot follow. I have been using WPBakery and now I also have to learn elementor which is now the chosen block builder.
Here are my questions, can you provide the 3.4.18 version for me that I can start to build on? After that, if I update to the latest 4.1.1 will my site break? Will I still be able to use WPBakery?

First of all, I am very sorry for all the inconvenience you are facing right now.
The thing is that it is a major theme update with so many changes and updations in the functions.
Once you update the theme it overrides all old theme files and new files are implemented. So if you want to intact your old customizations you have to add them again in your new theme files to make it work like it was before and for this purpose ask your developer to do it for you.
And regarding wpbakery working with the latest theme version, there is some issue and I am very sorry for that I know it mentioned on our official site that wpbakery is supported but in recent update we removed wpbakery from our supported plugins list and we missed those tags on ThemeForest and we will remove those soon. So I apologize for this confusion.
Now if you manullay use wpbakery then it is not going to change anything becuase theme pages will not customize with wpbakery anymore.
So now if you want to use wpbakery then ask your hosting provider to restore your old backup and after that do not update theme because you can’t update your old site without any conflict. We replaced all code of the original design theme. It is impossible to compatible with old versions.
Or if you want to update then simply create your site from scratch with elementor plugin. I hope you can understand this.
From any version whenever you are going to update to 4.0 or above your site will break.

Sorry for the inconvenience with our theme.
We have update the basis structure of our theme, so it could be occurred compatibility issue after update to 4.x.
So If you want to use old version, you can rollback our theme to old version by using Version Control Wizard.
Nor If you want to update our theme on your site, you should rebuild your site with our upgraded theme.
If I have to rebuild, this wil be like building a whole new website. The pages, the colours, the logo the homepage everything isn’t working or gone. My website is black and then everything is white..
Next If I put 3.4.18 back Woocommerce doesn´t work anymore. the shop page gets an error.

No, Control Wizard is not a plugin actually, it is theme feature it was added in the latest version of the theme. You can check this feature from the Dashboard >> UDesign >> Version Control see image: i.is.cc/1rYcOnfa.png by the help of this feature you can get back to the old version of the theme. If this not work for you then please contact your service provider to revert the old backup on your site
I don´t have the latest version I have 3.4.18 and there Woocommerce isn´t working anymore. When I install a different theme it works, with Udesign I get a critical error. People can´t use our shop.
That is the problem I have 3.4.18 and it doesn´t work. That is what I´m trying to tell you. Isn´t there another zip file of another version?

I think you are not understanding me, I know you already have the 3.4.18 version but might be because of downgrade you have lost some of your Customization that you did, so that is why I asked you to contact your hosting provider and ask to run the backup of your site, otherwise please contact us via our support system so that we will provide you the zip file of the theme.

Major issues alongside some of the comments I see above. New update has broken funtionality with Elementor Pro. Elementor pro team has been into my WP site backend and assure me it is a Udesign Core compatability issue. My udesign support has expired so I cannot leave a ticket, but nor do I feel I should have to pay to resolve an issue like this. Please advise.
Hi, thanks for your honest reply.. but I have been waiting some time now since then for this problem solving update, the Elementor and UAE functionality that I pay extra for for is very important to my site and without your software working properly I am losing aspects that I really need in place. Do you have any idea when this 4.2 update to udesign maybe coming.. I mean, do you have a solution to the udesign core issue yet? Is it days.. weeks.. or months? Seriously re-thinking whether I am using the right theme at the moment. 
As stated in my initial comment I do not have access to your support system as it has expired.. so you’re saying I have to pay to get this sorted? Your first reply states “we have tested this and we will solve this with the upcoming update of the theme” and now you’re saying you need to log into and check over my site.. as if it is my site that is the problem? Weeks are ticking by here and my sites functionality is not working as it should because of your most recent 4.1 update. Please offer me a reasonable way to get this sorted.. like giving me a years subscription to your support system so I can do as you ask and we can get this sorted! Thanks.

Where is the Team support page? I’ve created a register with your support link(http://designtheme.com/support/) Once the register the page automatically redirects to the Porto theme support page(https://p-themes.zendesk.com/). There is no option to create a support ticket for your theme (uDesign).

The support is not working anymore….. They closed the support center ….
After updating to 4.1.0 many issues are fixed but thumbnails on the single product page are unclickable and also some css customisation rendered useless.
