Does each author gets to use their own PayPal account to receive donations directly? I see there’s a Paypal ID field in the demo author user account I created for testing?
please send me link to detailed documentation on knees! the video documentation doesn’t explain how things work eg. the PayPal pay writer feature!

Yes, each author has to submit their PayPal email to actually be able to receive the donation directly.

that’s good! EXCEPT it needs to add a commission option field for SITE OWNER !! to share the income! Rather than just charging a subscription on the author’s! because at the beginning, there’s not enough traffic to get author’s to pay to post

Also why do I have to install so many plugins to have this theme work?

Basically, JNews only have 1 mandatory plugin which is the JNews Essential plugin. For the other plugins, it depends, you can use them based on your need.
We separate JNews features into several plugins to get better performance. Instead of making 1 big plugin that has all features that may you never use. That big plugin will waste your server resource.
So the amount plugins you need to install will be based on your need.

I just purchased this theme and it tells me to install the Vafpress Post Formats UI plugin but this plugin is outdated (over 7 years old and not updated) and it seems causes issues with the installation. Do I really need to install it. I have a production website and I do not want to run into any issues,
If I run into issues can I request a refund. I would like this theme to work properly without any plugins that are out dated and not compliant with the latest WordPress version.Thank you for your reply.

That plugin was created by Vafpress but they don’t work on the plugin any longer, however, we’ve personally kept it updated to make sure it’s compatible with JNews and the latest version of WordPress.
It’s a simple plugin that adds additional post format options to the post editor. Many popular themes also use this plugin.

Yes again thank you for your quick reply. I’ll do some testing and see if I really need this plugin. I also wanted to let you know that I installed your theme and it is very nice, well documented and coded, but when I deactivated it and deleted it for testing purposes, it left behind a folder in wp-content/themes. Just FYI – you should work on a good unistall code.

right clicking on highlighted headline text deselects it. This issue happens on the website I am developing but when i checked your demo site I noticed is still thesame and it’s not browser issue. Myclient wants a situation where he can highlight the headline text and rightclick on it to copy text. I know another option is a Ctrl C but I want my client want the first option

Hi. I have 5 licenses for JNews and have been using them without issue until today. I had to delete the main navigation menu and rebuild it. But now it doesn’t appear on the frontend in the Main Menu placement. The Top Bar menu displays there instead. I’ve checked all the places several times and compared to my other sites using JNews and I’ve done everything accordingly. I don’t have Gutenberg on the site, either. Can you please help me figure out how to get the Main Nav Menu to display again? Thank you.
Nevermind! I feel so stupid. I needed to call the header out in the header template using a custom menu widget. So sorry to have troubled you!

We only have the on time payment feature for uploading video content on your site. It can not be restricted to the specific category, but the posted video will always be in the pending mode so you can always review it before it is published.
The feature you seek is delivered by JNews – Frontend Submit. You can enable the pay to upload option by going to `Customizer > JNews : Frontend Submit > Enable WooCommerce Mode`.

Everything was working in last version, The license was with another person and he wasn’t updating so I had do buy new license by myself and update the theme and when I updated, this issue came.
