Hello,
I’m trying to setup a woocommerce test shop for our client who bought enfold so I’m only able to post here as I don’t have access to your support forum..
I have a test site at https://demo.futurion.si/. I just created two identical products where one uses Default Wordpress builder and the other uses Enfold Advanced Layout builder.
I browsed through your support forums to find a shortcode which can be used to display woocommerce images gallery with thumbnails, which is:

Then I used that same shortcode [avs_product_gallery_hook] inside both products here:
https://demo.futurion.si/product/basic-product/ https://demo.futurion.si/product/enfold-product/As you can see, inside Basic product, the image gallery with thumbnails is completely ok, while inside Enfold product the formatting is not ok (thumbnails are shown with numbers, not aligned, no formatting, no border, no zoom lens, etc.). I believe this is an issue with enfold formatting and this function is crucial for me if I want to build that shop using enfold template.
Can you please check what could be the issue? I can also send you (in private) login details if needed. It’s actually just simple wordpress install (latest 6.0.2) with latest enfold 5.1.2 version. PHP is 7.4.30.

I did some further research and it seems there’s just an issue with CSS formatting which is evidently missing when using this shortcode inside advanced builder. I tried to add additional class “product” to text field inside advanced builder where shortcode is called and it fixes things a bit (visible border around main image, nicely sorted thumbnails), but it’s far from perfect (not the right size, zoom lens missing, lightbox doesn’t work ok, etc.).
I think all there’s needed to be done is apply all CSS formatting from basic product page to this one or wrap this shortcode into proper div/class/id elements, but I simply don’t know how or where to start.

Hi! I just updated your theme on my preprod https://preprod.boss-formation.com/ but there is a problem with the margin of my third column (BPJEPS Activités de la forme) which is not aligned with the others. And a problem with the color: the background is red but when I go on a column and save the settings, the theme does not take into account the background color. Coul dyou help me to solve that? Hi, my client uses this theme,, but the version is around 4.4 if I’m not mistaken.. Will this cause issue if we update the theme to 5.0? thanks

No, update would not cause an issue unless parent theme files are modified. If there are modifications but they are on the child theme, you can still update the theme but you may need to update modified files such as header.php or footer.php.

Hello, I just love this theme. For a new project I use it since a few days and very happy with it. I have a question about an idea. I want to have a Revslider (fullwidth) and underneath it a “Farb-Sektion” with an SVG Divider on top. Is it possible to place the Divider-Effect over the Revslider ? Like a layer or something … ? That is possible, yes. Please add Color Section element above your Revslider and set Layout > Section Height to “No minimum height, use content within section to define section height”. In Layout > Margin and Padding, check “Custom Margins” and set bottom margin value to -100px. Set your SVG divider in SVG Dividers section and go to Styling > Background Colors and type “transparent” in BG color field. Finally, go to Advanced > Position and set Z-index value to “31” (I tested this using LayerSlider, you may need to set different value).
That should do it!

Hi! I’m helping a friend with his site (built on Enfold). When I try to update the Theme, it says; Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.5.1) But the latest version is 5.1.2

My websites home page is suddenly blank after a recent wordpress update I believe

I tried to update theme but I get a similar error when trying to access the site at all. I had to revert to an older version backup.

IMPORTANT!: in Color Section when background image is set to Fixed, Centered and Streach to fit on desktop and phone it’s OK but on tabled the image is not resized correctly and looks grainy! Version 5.1.2 also does not fix this bug!!!

1- Please go to Enfold theme options > Blog Layout > Blog Layout and choose to use ALB – https://imgur.com/a/EQNb3GJ. Then you can edit your Blog page just as any other page and choose certain categories in Blog Posts element

Is there are reason your theme doesn’t prompt updates? No way to even know the theme was out of date until it was too late.
The lack of support for older theme versions and the lack of information regarding the theme being out of date is concerning.
Also – it’s not my site build but I’ve had this put on me. I’m betting $50 that Enfold update to 5.0 will also break the existing site because developers never put in support for legacy feature changes.

The reason Enfold does not prompt updates in your case is the old version. Envato has updated their API and we have included those changes in Enfold 4.5. Any older version of the theme requires a manual update first and API keys need to be replaced with Personal Tokens. You can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token to generate a Personal Token.
I have personally updated many old Enfold versions, the most recent being version 2.7, and never had any issues. Our devs keep backwards compatibility in mind. If your client modified theme files directly on parent theme, obviously those will be overwritten and if they are using a child theme, modified theme files might need updating.

For a theme that has been around for a long time and definitely a good one, default WooCommerce styles are very poor. https://i.imgur.com/d7ATZMK.png Imagine fixing CSS of this on all the sites. Please pay attention to the WooCommerce styles. There are more areas like this.

Hi, I was trying to use Directories pro plugin (https://codecanyon.net/item/directories-pro-for-wordpress/21800540) in my site (with Enfold theme), but unlike normal theme (twentytwenty, storefront, etc.), Enfold won’t show the correct title for plugin’s taxonomy pages, for example : the title of the directory Category Restaurant should show as “Category: Restaurant” , but Enfold not showing the title “Category: Restaurant” , and instead, it make all the menus named “Category: Restaurant”. It is so strange behavior, I like Enfold, I don’t wanted to change the theme just because a plugin. But I think it might has something to do with the theme, as I tested plugin with default wordpress theme, all works fine. Do you have any suggesetions maybe?

Just an update: Also a title problem, in single listing , Enfold shows ‘Latest news’ in title , not the actual listing title. It seems enfold handle the listing as a ‘blog’ here
