A new option appeared within the porto app, which was a new way to customize much better than current with many more options, but that way just disappeared???? how can I get it back?

Your theme conflicts with polyang. After updating to the latest update the conflict causes products to no show on the front and back end

I have a requirement as to hide the shop completely and required to show only for people with login credentials. Basically a private shop for authorised people. Is this theme has this feature? 1. For the Products, you can use Simple Custom Post Order plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-post-order/ and rearrange the products as per your requirements from backend and it will automatically apply on frontend as well.

I can’t thank you enough for the help!! I only have one last question. There is a button on each product “Ask a Question” that I can’t get into to set the notifications. Can you tell me where it is managed. I have been all over WooCommerce and the products and am at a loss of what to do. And again, this is a great template.

That is not coming from WooCommerce, If you are using any MultiVendor plugin then you have to look into that MultiVendor plugin settings for that Ask a Question button.

If you are using the WCFM MultiVendor plugin then you have to look under Settings>Modules>Inquiry Tab

Hi, I’m posting this here as I can’t seem to login to the ticket support. I am using the Yith Pre-order plugin but finding that Porto keeps loading the page in a Lazy Load style (I have it turned off in Speed Optimise > Performance) but as a result the site is not loading a certain java code I need to show the pre-order date on the products due to the lazy load. Is there anywhere else the options might be that I need to disable to stop the Lazy load effect on the page ?

I see, so you are having the issue with the Child Theme, Have you used any Customization code in the Child Theme? If yes then please check that code with your developer OR if not then please delete the Child Theme and create it again from Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Child Theme.

And check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

I deleted the baby theme and recreated it by following the given steps. Before doing this I made a backup of the old baby. Once I uploaded the new one, I added the custom CSS and uploaded header.php to the child again Apparently it was this file that was causing problems. Now everything seems to be working. Thank you

Update 6.5.0 breaks one of my clients sites entirely, seems to be OK update on more basic clients. Client who is using shop 26 demo: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop26/ completely fried the site after upgrade to 6.5.0, rolling back to previous version restored the site.

Please look into this. someone made a big screw up haha

I’ve rectified the issue – The issue is caused by Porto making edits to the core code of header.php, so anyone using a child theme has to refresh their header.php to match the core theme.

I have a Product Fields plugin.

And it only works with the woocommerce standard product gallery.

This is a plugin that allows you to make changes to the product image when ordering.

However, the porto-controlled product gallery does not allow this.

I want to disable the Porto theme function only on the product page.

You can Show and Hide the thumbnails of the Single Product from Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Product Image & Zoom, Other then that, there is no such possible option and requires extra Customziation.

This was working fine until a recent update. What could have changed as not much has changed on the website over the last year.

The plot thickens. If I downgrade from PHP8 to 7.4 it works. Any ideas?

There is no option in the Theme Options to move the Category Description from top to bottom on the category page. But you can achieve it by following the steps listed below.

1. Please go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Blocks and create a new block.
2. Add/Write the Description in the particular block as per your requirements.
3. Save the block and click on quick edit and copy the block slug name.
4. Go to  Products >> Categories and edit the particular category.
5. After editing the particular category scroll below, you will find the Content Bottom option.
6. Paste the block slug name in the Content Bottom Option and save the change.
7. Finally check your site after removing the browser cache.

Simply you can create your own Category Archive page using our template builder : https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/faq/how-to-create-custom-product-archive-page-using-porto-template-builder-and-with-wp-bakery-page-builder/ as per your requirements.
