You can use the theme on any site with WordPress.
I read the documentation… the problem is that the reviewer plugin is no longer available in codecanyon and about the theia-post-slider plugin I have no news… it is not in codecanyon and I don’t have any activation code either. Or at least no activation code that works. The data that I filled in to activate the plugins is all correct but it tells me that my license is invalid. I installed the Theia post slider plugin directly from the admin, then I deleted it and uploaded it from the folder I downloaded from themeforest… but it’s still not activated. I want to clarify that I also read the frequently asked questions before contacting me…so I expect an answer to the problem…not that they send me to reread the documentation. And please respond immediately, don’t make me wait another 48 hours.

I would like to first mention that neither of the plugins are necessary for the function of the theme.
Second, the correct purchase code to activate both plugins is located in the respective sections of the Zox News documentation.

I understand. The problem is that I already submitted the ticket and the only response I get is that I check the documentation. From what I read in the comments EVERYONE has problems activating the mentioned plugins. Obviously this is something they need to fix. As I already said, the ticket is open… I hope to get a solution.

And every time I have a customer ask me about this, I point them to the documentation, where the activation codes are located. All that is required is to open the theme documentation, click on the Theia Post Slider or Reviewer Plugin section, and you will see the activation code that you are supposed to use for the plugins.
What continues to happen, is customers simply assume that the purchase code is the same as the theme purchase code and don’t bother carefully looking at the actual theme documentation. You would save yourself a great deal of time and aggravation if you simply looked at the theme documentation.
I read all the documentation… and I can’t find the code to activate the plugin… could you mark it in red? In the tickets, send the corresponding screenshots to precisely save time and be as clear as possible. I checked in Documentation/assets/reviewer and there is a pdf…I can’t find the correct code there.

As previously stated, the activation codes are located in the theme documentation file...NOT the assets folder. Please open the theme documentation file and navigate to the Reviewer section.
This is a great theme, although there are some issues I’ve noticed recently:
- After latest update, the “comment” button disappears from all posts that are over 2 weeks old. The “click to comment” button also disappears for these posts as well as any previous comments on the post.
- After latest update, viewing all posts from a specific author shows no featured image on every fifth post (shows just the title and excerpt). Same issue for searched posts. It shows perfectly fine on the category pages though.
- There is no ability to show “last updated on” for posts, it only shows readers when the post was first published.
- The theme has some AMP and performance issues in regards to Google. The theme should be optimized in the next update taking Core Web Vitals and page experience into consideration to allow theme users to get better SEO rankings.
For MVP Themes: Are there any new upcoming themes? Any plan on updating Zox News theme?

Hi, i run some tests with your theme and i realy like the performance. Great job! Question, the theme loads ajax.googleapis.com and there is no feature that can be tured off to disable this. Since gdpr i need to disable this to use this theme for a client website.

Will you be adding the updated Theia Post Slider anytime soon? It’s up to version 2.7.5
It appears that the last time the plugin was updated in the theme was way back in 2019, and the license code in the theme documents appears to have expired???
The message in admin says “Hmm… Your license has expired. You can still continue using all the Premium features, but you’ll need to renew your license to continue getting updates and support. “

That has to do with the plugin author leaving Themeforest and changing the way that licenses are handled. Unfortunately, there is no way to renew the extended license unless you purchase your own directly from the developer. But I am in the process of trying to find a suitable replacement to include in the theme. In the meantime, you can certainly still continue to use the plugin with the current version.
