I have almost finished my website with your theme. And its customizability is quite high in my experience. And I have already tested your demo site, and its performance is quite top. Used Porto now for a year and It has been great. But days ago, I had to update my theme by downloading the latest version here on themeforest to upload via my cPanel. I noticed some part of my site broke. For example, I can’t find my intro slider again, the porto member carousel is carrying a funny font which wasn’t there before, The single member pages where the full profiles are shown looks the funniest with odd fonts, layouts and colours.

Is there something you can do for me because I have tried all I could please?

Hi. I am a happy customer of Porto and Riode Themes. Would like to purchase theme again for another upcoming Woo Commerce store.

But we would like to extend the search functionality. Somehow we feel YITH search and default wordpress search are not adequate.

Is your theme compatible with other search plugins like WP Search or Advanced Woo search which generally supports custom taxonomies too.

Have you updated the Porto Functionality plugin as well? If not then please update it and check back and if yes then please run the backup of your site again, and try to update the theme by following the below listed points.

Follow this Step to Update your Theme.

Note: Here is the recommended way of Automatic update from us:

1. Take the complete backup of your site before updating the Theme for avoiding any inconvenience.
2. Deactivate all the third-party plugins before updating the Theme.
3. Take a Backup of your Custom Code and remove it from the site before an update of the Theme.
4. If you are using a Child Theme then Activate the Parent-Theme before updating the Theme.
5. Remove all the cache from your server, site and finally check back your site after removing the browser cache and check deeply what are the changes that occurs on your site after that...
6. After that go to Appearance >> Themes and update the Theme One-Click automatically from there.
7. After that go to Appearance >> Install Plugins and update the Theme required/recommended plugins from there one by one.
8. After that check back your site after removing the browser cache and check deeply what changes occur on your site after that and if all goes well then.
9. You have to again Activate the Child Theme.
10. Again activate all the third-party plugins one by one.

Is anybody else having issue with file porto/woocommerce/global/quantity-input.php version 4.0.0 is out of date. The core version is 7.2.0, crashing their site. I cannot find a solution to this and our support has expired.

It appears after the 6.6.0 update we are having issues with the sub menu displaying correctly in Firefox only. The submenu will show all the way to the right sometimes (intermittent) instead of being centered. We are using the Porto “header builder in customizer”. WP core is upto date, Php 8.0. Seeing this on 6.6.0 and 6.6.1.

There is an issue still with the submenu. As noted this is an intermittent issue, and also noted you have to click around sometimes to multiple pages to see it on page load. On Firefox only.

Hello, Today I noticed that for some reason when you put your mouse over the menu item, the menu has stopped working and the dropdown never populates.

Please can you advise how to fix this as it was working fine before. I have made sure all cache is deleted and all plugins and themes up to date.

Hi there. How would someone do a design so the logo is in the middle of the menu. So you have a main menu of six items, but between the 3rd and 4th, would be the logo? I don’t see the option in your pre-built templates. Thanks.

After looking thru the demos, I noticed all the woo checkout pages, all have Shopping Cart > Checkout > Order Complete. Is there a way to change the text on this? Is it done in the theme files or admin backend?

Please, there is some floating button in Porto to visualize in movile the tipical “Add to cart” ?. I have a shop. 8If not the clients have to scroll down to find the button).

Also in movile when clients are scrolling in my page view the button should remain there.

I am looking an issue in “User Registration Form” available in your theme. When we click Login or Register button it displays the same Login Form for both. The form doesn’t change when we click Register Now Link https://prnt.sc/FyVzXE30lCnb

When I have filled the random/fake email and password it registered without asking email confirmation and the user is redirected into the dashboard. This is not a good registration process. It can increase SPAM user registration and anyone with fake email can register on the site and access the dashboard. I have checked theme options and nowhere found any setting or option where email verification is required.

When we click on “My Account” Link it displays two separate forms for Login and Registration. https://prnt.sc/Ba9cnl4_asgu This is default WooCommerce registration form if I am not wrong.

1. I want to know is there any setting available where new user needs to verify their email before login into their account? If email unverified then the user can’t login into the account.

2. And any setting when on clicking the Register button it only display the registration form. At present it is displaying login form pop-up only.

Actually, The thing is, there is an option in the theme for the login. You can show the popup when the user clicks on my account or you can redirect the user to my account page. The popup is built like this and there are no settings in the theme to change it.

You can only enable/disable it from the theme settings. So I suggest you change the popup to the link from the Dashboard >> Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> there you will see the options see the image: https://postimg.cc/XB6ST6N8 so that when the user clicks on my account it will redirect the user to my account page.

And Regarding the email SPAM and verification, Please go to WP-Dashboard >> WooCommerce >> Settings >> Account & Privacy: https://postimg.cc/dDqf4ZZh

Uncheck the Option: When creating an account, automatically generate an account username for the customer based on their name, surname or email

and Check the Option: When creating an account, send the new user a link to set their password

It will help you in solving your issue.

Hello! Thanks for replying. I have made these settings already. Besides that I am using a new plugin “User Registration” to solve this issue. Now user can create password and username as well, and without email verification can’t access the account.

As a user I liked your theme, customization functions, its features and loading speed. But only thing your team needs to work on is the registration and login process. Kindly keep it as suggestion.

1. Yes this problem is only on your site, so you have to find and remove that CSS code as it already has the !important attribute with it, so it’s not possible to override it…

Sorry for the inconvenience, it is showing only a single WooCommerce template as outdated because WooCommerce releases it’s update and that is why the single template of the theme has outdated, Our development department is working on the theme update and soon hopefully within a couple of days you will find an updated version of the theme with solved this outdated template issue so until that please be patience.
