Hi, your theme is great but i can’t update and i’m stuck to version 5.3.4 i’ve tried any suggestion i’ve found here in comments but nothing works.. the latest one regarding the removal of line 56 in functions.php file which takes back the backend but doesn’t let upload new images in listings. any idea on how to move on? thanks

The latest version of the theme is 5.4.0. There is no need to comment scripts with the latest version of the theme. We recommend you activate parent theme and update it to the latest version, here below you can find multiple ways to update the theme correctly >>> https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/motors-theme-documentation/getting-started/how-to-update-motors

After it, update all the theme pre-packed plugins as well under the WordPress dashboard > appearance > install plugins section

i’m not able to access the Wordpress backend after the 5.3.9 update, i’m getting ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I have desactivated this 2 lines (line 56 et line 57) in functions.php and that solved the problem : // wp_safe_redirect( admin_url( ‘admin.php?page=stm-admin-plugins#core’ ) ); // exit;

The checkout page is part of the Woocommerce plugin, please make sure that you have properly configured the settings of the Woocommerce plugin and set the required pages, and recheck by resaving your site’s permalinks as well from the WordPress settings

This is fourth day since I raised the issue, after your update we are getting issue by uploading images. My site is not usable and clients are complaining.

Since 4 days I’m saying that we are having issue which we are working on it.

I need you to fix this ASAP.

Issue appears when you use PHP 8.0 and PHP 8.1 If you downgrade to 7.3 then it works.

This is workaround but not parament solution

Update:

If you go to 7.3 WooCommerce gets disabled automatically saying 7.3 is too old. I tried 7.4 and both works, WooCommerce and uploading images 

Well, as you can see, it depends on the Woocommerce plugin. In general, the recommended version for most of the plugins is PHP 7.4

Since the last update there is a bug in the theme, i can’t upload any pictures anymore. How can i solve this?

Hello, The layout https://www.vrankenmotors.be i can’t load any image to my media folder. When i switch to another standard theme it’s possible. i’ve already tried with disconnecting all plugins but that’s als not the solution. At the moment the lowest number for php on my hosting is 8,0.

According to the image upload, try to downgrade your PHP to the 7,4 version, there could be some issues with the PHP 8 version

With the proper updates of the theme and pre-packed plugins, there should not be such kind of issue by default. We recommend you install the theme on your own local host, import the same demo layout that you have used in your live site. After it, the demo import will install all the needed plugins with the latest version, try to upload these plugins to your live domain with FTP, it should solve the issue on your live site

Hello, can you help? I installed a plugin that you indicated “Listing Type Settings” to do the separation of the cars. I installed it, configured it and it’s working, but the “Stm Cars On Top” element doesn’t work properly anymore, it doesn’t show all the cars that are in the listings, what is the criteria to show all the cars that are in the listings? what should I do?

There is only one global Inventory page in the theme by default, there is no option to have inventory pages separately. All listings will be in the global inventory, and new and old published listings

I have an issue with the vehicle gallery on my website. Basically when I press next or prev buttons it moves the next image just by half like in this screenshot https://ibb.co/yqgrz7q

Also it doesn’t slide up to the final image but just to the first 3. I noticed the same issue occurs with your classified 4 demo.

How to solve this?

PS: I already tried the support website but whenever I enter the purchase code it says that it has already been used which is impossible given than the theme was bought a couple of days ago.

According to the support site, please try to log in with the Login with Envato button, here you will need to use the same credentials that you have used while purchasing the theme, the support site will automatically synchronize

Users cannot view the Profile page or their dashboard to view edit their own listings. Once logged in and clicking on the user profile or My items link on the frontend menu, it just takes them to the homepage. None of the ”/author/username” links actually go to the profile page, they are all redirecting to the homepage. Please advise.

This issue was found and due to the Yoast SEO plugin which had the Author Archives setting disabled. This is what was redirecting back to the homepage. Once it was re-enabled, user dashboards work correctly again. Thank you!

I updated theme, after this I have to update plugins STM Motors Extends, Motors Listing Types, but can’t. At php logs error: “PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘STM_Theme_Info’ not found in /home/uy482232/rvavto.com.ua/www/wp-content/themes/motors/functions.php:39”

There shouldn’t be such kind of issue with proper theme updates and pre-packets updates as well. Please make sure that your server limits are according to the theme’s required limits. In addition, we recommend you check the case by installing the theme on your own local host environment as well
