Hi, I have a problem installing the theme. I’ve installed the theme and the plugins correctly. When I enable Kirki Customizer Framework I get a error on the website – some CSS code is shown. Do you have a Idea how I can fix this problem? I let the website in this state that you can check it https://www.ib-font.de/

The error must be related with Kirki because I can enable all other plugins without an error message.

When I edit pages I am able to choose which header and footer to use in the page settings. However, when I edit “portofolios” this option does not come up, and it makes the header on the mobile phones look bad.

Is there a way to fix this issue so I can the header/footer setting in portofolios, or edit the header for mobile for the portofolios?

I’m trying to extend the theme with a child one but I’m having issues overriding some widgets. The only way I’m able to use my custom code is to change the content of the file ”./inc/backend/elementor-widgets/widgets.php”, replacing “get_template_directory()” with “get_stylesheet_directory()”.

AFAIK the issue is related to the usage of this 2 functions: if you use get_stylesheet_directory(), then the path to the theme folder is the same of the CSS (ie. the path to the child theme), otherwise you’ll get the path to the parent theme.

Since it’s not a best practice and it could be harmful, I would not change the parent theme files. I would ask you whether you can change the files on your side so that I can continue to use a vanilla parent theme.

Hi, I have downloaded your theme Engitech and have been editing it on a dev site for my company TSP Consulting. I am very pleased with the way the site looks on desktop, laptop, and tablet extra so far, however I am having much difficulty editing the tablet and mobile breakpoints of the site.

I have been browsing the placeholder and documentation folders from the original downloaded theme folder and found several html guides as well as JS and CSS files. My question is about the header-mobile.js file and other files that might contribute to the look of mobile versions of the site. Do we have to specify how we want the mobile header to be displayed in the corresponding Javascript file and then re-upload that to Elementor in addition to the original folder?
