Unfortunately, it’s not possible, as there is no such possible option for this in our theme, but you can achieve it using the Custom CSS code, please go to the Products >> Categories and edit the particular category, copy and paste the below given CSS code to the Category Custom CSS section and it will resolve your issue, please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/kDq2jHyP

To customize, change or add product categories in Porto WordPress theme, follow these steps:

Log in to your WordPress dashboard and navigate to the Products tab.

Click on Categories to view all the existing categories.

To edit an existing category, hover your cursor over it and click on the Edit option. You can then change the name, slug, description, or parent category if needed.

To create a new category, click on the Add New Category button. Enter the category name, slug, and description, and select the parent category if necessary.

Once you have made the desired changes, click on the Save button to save your changes.

To assign categories to your products, go to the Products tab and select the product you want to edit. In the Product Data section, click on the Categories tab and check the boxes next to the relevant categories. You can also create a new category from this page if needed.

Finally, click on the Update button to save your changes.

You can check the style options under Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce >> Product Categories.

Hi – when i download the poppins zip file from google fonts, i am not able to set “regular 400” in porto backend. How can i fixed that?

Please go to Porto >> Speed Optimization Wizard >> Advanced and uncheck the “Merge javascripts and stylesheets” & “Enable Critical CSS” options from there, save changes and check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

The new version 6.8.2 has not got the update alert / notification from Appearance – Theme. But the porto functionality plugin has the alert to upgrade.

Following your previous advice, we upgrade the theme first, then the functionality plugin to avoid unexpected issues.

Please advise how to upgrade theme first, manually download it from our porto account?

Please go to Porto >> Dashboard and unregister the theme license from there, then again register the theme with same purchase code, after that please go to Appearance >> Themes and you will find the update theme alert there, simply update it.

OR if you will not find the alert then please try to manually update the theme, you can follow the instructions written in our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/update-theme/

This is a standard font and the google font is disable. The url is not right, so the font file is not found. Please check the url.

Is there any way to have the product filters closed by default in the widget? If you have many categories and many attributes, the sidebar is too long.

Unfortunately there is no such possible option for it to close by default and this requires extra code customziation.

Like, for Product Categories widget, you can use the below given code in the Child Theme functions.php file and it will close that widget by default on page load/reload.

I just purchase the theme but during setup the theme it’s asking the purchase code.

So my concern is first I will setup all things on development server and later it will be move on production domain.

If I will put purchase code on development server will it be usable on production.

If you want to create your site using our theme on the staging site first and then move on to the final domain, you can do it using a single license but for that, you have to unregister the license first from the staging site and then you will be able to activate the theme again on a final domain.

Page not working when woocommerce is enabled

The page was working until today and we made the necessary changes. But today, while editing, all of a sudden the page layout is broken. The inner pages work but the home page does not. There is a product display with a shortcode on the home page. When we disable Woocommerce, the page works, but when we activate it, the page does not work.

Hi, I recently updated my site with a new install and using SHOP Template 1 to utilize the FULL site editing feature with elementor.

I have quickly come into many conflicts with this new format and YITH plugins not working properly. It looks like the YITH plugins cannot find the woocommerce hooks properly in order to modify their values.

For example YITH Badge management no longer shows their badges on thumbnails.

BEFORE updating to the new template I was using the same shop 1 template before it was updated to the full site editing and every YITH plugin I use works, something has changed with the new updated templates.

Thank you for the update and the badge is now displayed.

The positioning of the badge on the shop thumbnail is not displaying in the correct position. :( When I position it in the center of the image it is displayed almost off the image at the top. The ONLY position that works correctly is when it is at the top of the image.

Also this affects ALL YITH plugins that need to use the woocommerce hooks as I have run into multiple issues with many of their plugins. Both on the shop page and on the product page as well.

Are you using any third party plugin on your site for cache or optimization? If yes then that might be the option from that plugin.

Please try to disable all the third-party plugins on your site except Theme Required/Recommended plugins, and check back your site after clearing the browser cache, might be any additional/extra third party plugins conflicting on your site and creating that issue. If this will resolve your issue then again you have to activate all the third party plugins one by one and check which one is creating the issue on your site, and try to reach out to the Plugin Author for further help on this.

And if the issue will still persists then please remain all the third party plugins deactivated on your site and provide us the permission to debug your site which includes deactivating all the third party plugins and on site Customziation as well. we also request you to please share the site WP Admin URL and Credentials with us as well for further investigating the issue on your site via our support system.

Note: Please take the complete backup of your site before following the above steps as that might affect your site.
