We have a problem after last update. We have have never had an issue with this theme until now.

We are using this theme:

All of sudden after last update (29.5), our website is off margin. The logo isn’t appearing and the settings are screwed up. The website is supper skinny (not full width).

I made sure that Bridge Core is update and active. I’ve checked settings. I even restored a backup from 6 months ago, it did the same thing.

How do I have you check. Do I really need to buy support?

Please check if you have updated the latest version of the theme and its plugins. If you need instructions on how to update the theme and included plugins, you can refer to the following article: How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins.

The latest version is 29.5 and Bridge Core is 3.0.5 once you have updated the theme do always just in case navigate to Qode Options and hit Save, so your options ca. be generated after the update.

Yes, I thought I had said that in my original note. We updated to 29.5, then updated Bridge Core (3.0.8) then saved Qode Options to no help. Even restored a backup and repeated the process. It is still screwed up. Please advise if you will help or do I have to purchase support. Thanks.

Hello. On your demos I can see that product photos can not be zoomed in. When I try to zoom photo on the mobile device, the center of the photo stayed fixed and started falling out of the screen. Is there any way to fix this as I can see it on every demo that you have. Thanks!

We do have an option to Enable the Default WooCoomerce Product Gallery Features in Qode Options -> WooCommerce however please explain this a bit more as on our demos Lightbox is opened once you click on the product images, you can also share your website Url or one of our demos.

I’m using the Bridge313 Tobacco theme and want to use WP Bakery as the builder (not Elementor) – I’ve selected all page / post option w/in the Role manager – but the only option for editing the home pg is with Elementor – is there a way to turn off Elementor and make WP Bakery the default builder tool?

Thanks for writing in! The Tobacco demo is an Elementor demo so once you import the demo content it will come with Elementor pages. You could always use WPBakery but you will need to build your own content with it, or perhaps import a WPBakery demo that is similar to this one.

Is this possible to display Login & Register buttons on header?

When it comes to theme’s Qode Membership plugin, please note that this plugin extends functionality of Qode LMS or Qode Listing and it cannot be used separately from these plugins.

If you use the listing and membership plugin you can always add youR Login widget from Appearance > WIDGETS > Header widget area.

I want to use theme for E-Commerce purpose. I want login and register links on header. Is it possible without using membership plugin?

Thanks for writing in! The theme is WooCommerce compatible and you can use it for your shop functionality, The membership plugins allow you to have a cart and user login, but you do not have to use it. You can simply add a direct link to my-account page which is there by default.

There’s some questions: 1. The “add to cart” button is too close to the number on mobile device, how can I fix it? 2. How can I edit checkout page? How can I update from 18.1 to the latest version without crashing everything

Thanks for writing in! As you are using a very old theme you can follow the guidance on how to update the theme and its plugins here.

Also have in mind that Envato Toolkit is an outdated plugin. So, now you should use Envato Market and procedure is pretty much the same.

Please, just go to /wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules and remove whole folder envatowordpresstoolkit This is deprecated Envato Toolkit plugin that is replaced with Envato Market plugin.

If you are using child theme be aware of the following and the changes that needs to be done, you can read more about it here.

Because in Bridge 18.0 we had to change function names as per Themeforest request in order to meet their new coding standards, and child theme modifications must reflect these changes since 18.0 Bridge release. If you have modified functions via child theme, you’ll have to rename functions in the child theme in order your child theme to work after the update.

Hey everyone, Are there any known issues with updates to the theme and title tags not working? My h1-h6 tags are all behaving strangely.

I even tried to create a test blog post, with different h1 – h5 tags on there and they’re all coming out different than what they’re supposed to look like from what I set on the Qode Options.

Oh, and the issues only take place in blog posts. Title tags work normally when used on pages, but not on blog posts.

This cannot be achieved through Theme Options. To make these changes it is necessary to modify blog_single-loop.php template located on this path: wp-content\themes\bridge\templates\blog_single-loop.php

and change the h2 to h1. This is necessary to do for every post type ( standard, audio, video, gallery… ).

Other option is to enable Qode Title on posts and set “Text Size” to “Large”, this way h1 tag will be used for the title in title area.

I am sooo angry with this theme designer. I am trying to open a support ticket, it says I am registered with an old theme, i try to deregsiter the theme, impossible. There is no button to add a new theme to my support profil. Therefore I cannot even create a support ticket ! Its insane. Just spent 1 hour trying everything on their support site and i gave up !

Such a basic process is not managed with their support site and its so locked up, its impossible to create a simple ticket if you had a previous theme registered.

Anyone can help ?

Hi, my Bridge theme is v.18.1. It is incompatible with the latest Woo Commerce version. When I try to upgrade the theme it breaks the site. Can I just replace the old Woo Commerce files with the newest files?

Demos made with Elementor are using free Elementor version and it is not necessary to use Elementor Pro as all of the features displayed in the demos can be achieved with theme options and free Elementor version.

The Elementor Pro widgets are compatible. You could get access to Elementor Pro widgets for sure using the Pro version of the plugin, it is just a matter of the custom header and footer feature that you will need to make some minor adjustments and you can get help from our support team with that. Otherwise than that you should know that our theme does have a variety of options that you can use to build your website.
