Broken theme after update – Hi did not update theme for months and when I just tried to update it to the new update the site is broken. Do you have a page where all the previous updates of Bridge can be downloaded from please so that I try to update the site one by one. Thank you.

Hi, Thank you. The theme was registered before to the right url and has not been used anywhere else by me and I am unable to deregister the theme as from the dashboard or the help pages to deregister it is asking me to provide the website to which it is registered. I have proof of purchase so can you deregister for me so that I can register again and update the theme as many things are missing or broken because the site is not registered properly. Thx

I have a license for it, but I didn’t deregister it from my old website. I can’t contact support because it expired and I have no access to the old website because I switched hosts and domain. Please help.

Hi, I used your theme on one of my client’s site years ago. Today I Update the Theme and the main setting (Qode Options) didn’t work at all. I change the font and it saved the settings, but when I refresh the page, the settings didn’t change and are the same as before changing. This is not set by the theme. You can find the vertical-header.php template on this path wp-content\themes\bridge\framework\modules\header\templates\vertical-header.php if you want to adjust theme files additionally.

You should know that you can now easily deregister your purchase code via our Help Center by following instructions from this article here.

If you are unsure about the domain where the theme was previously registered, you can enter any url (like google.com), and in the error message the correct url will be written.

You can also contact us through this email, include your purchase codes in the email, and our support agents will assist you with deregistration.

Hello. I have an older (approximately six years since any theme updates) site I’ve just acquired and its build on the Bridge framework using Visual Composer for its page development. Before I ‘update’ to the latest version of Bridge I wanted to check to be sure compatibility to the latest version. Does the latest version of Bridge still support updating an older Bridge theme install to the latest version if those pages were built using Visual Composer? Please advise. Thank you.

You can update the theme, however, before you update the Bridge theme, we highly recommend that you create a backup of your WordPress website. You can learn how to easily backup your website here.

To update Bridge theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update The Bridge WordPress Theme And Bundled Plugins. After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins. Once the theme and plugins are updated you should navigate to Qode Options -> General and click on ‘Save Changes’ button in order to generate a new dynamic CSS file.

Theme options, shortcodes and meta boxes are now disabled if theme purchase code is not registered on live server so once you update the theme and plugins you should register theme’s purchase code in Bridge Dashboard.

Hello Qode team. I am having users complain about the touch screen and menus. On a desktop that supports touch, the menus wont stay open long enough to tap on a sub menu item. I know at one point you used Modernizr and they had not found a solution. Any work afrounds?

Hi, I’m unable to properly install the demo 443 (music magazine) as the homepage is missing the sliders and the videos etc although most other elements imported OK. I tried the XML import method from your tutorial but still the same problem. You wrote under another person’s question about 443 slider missing that “Slider on homepage is created using the “Post Slider 1” shortcode.” Could you please explain where exactly is that shortcode located as I don’t see any QI sliders created in wp-admin. And this field on homepage is empty: field “Layer Slider or Qode Slider Shortcode Copy and paste your shortcode located in Qode Slider -> Slider”.

Do I need to create 1 manually and if so, what is the actual shortcode with ID etc (so I can copy and paste it from your response)?
