WP Bakery Builder 7.3 is working on Posts, but not even showing on Pages. We are using latest version of Wordpress, Fox Theme and all plugins.
Posts show Classic / Backend Editor options. But Pages by default open on Classic Editor Option, and doesn’t show Backend Editor option at all.
Checked the Role Manager for Admin user, and both posts and pages are assigned. This is happening since the last theme update. Please guide.

We recommend you to try to disable the custom plugins you are using and to clear your cache first to be sure it is not something related to another plugin / cache issue.

Hi I checked cpanel logs and see these 3 errors repeating again and again all over the log file. I am using PHP 8.1 and these error logs appeared. But when i changed to PHP 7.4 these errors weren’t logged.

More over, when i update WP Bakery plugin from Fox Theme update, it shows new version 7.4, but still shows version 7.3 even after update is done.
“Plugin not activated. A higher version of WPBakery Page builder is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.”
But the plugin is active and working on Posts, just not working on Pages.

Hi, currenttly you get 3 dashes when you open the mobile (burger) menu, would be nice to show ‘X’ rather than 3 dashes, so it can indicate you can close the menu

I’m trying to activate the theme, but there still the text: The purchase code already has been registered. Could you deregister purchase code on the another domain and try again.
I am making my new site, because the old one is dead for more than 2 years. The domain is also different. The old was .eu, and now i am using .com. Is that the reason of the problem? I don’t know how to deregister the code from the site that doesn’t exist. Please, tell me what to do?

Will there be a newer version of the LayerSlider plugin added to the theme at any point? I believe the currently bundled version (6.9.2) is not PHP8 compatible, so I have had to deactivate it to be able to get my site compatible with PHP8.

We don’t plan to add the newer version of the Layerslider since they stop selling on Envato.
We recommend you to use the Slider Revolution plugin if you want to use a slider.

You can use Elementor but our templates are not compatible with it, so if you want to use our template you will need to use the page builder ( WPbakery page buider ) we include in our theme.

can you confirm the current version number? I have a site with version 3.3.2 installed and it doesn’t work with PHP 8.2. Can you also confirm the current version works on PHP 8.2?

The latest version is 3.9.56, so you might want to update the theme.
It should be compatible with php 8.2 but make sure to take a backup before doing any update.

In the changelog section of themeforest page of Fox theme, you have mentioned the year as 2022 instead of 2023 for all changes after April 2023. Pls correction. It was a bit confusing.

Hello, just coming back to this theme on an old website of ours. If the WP Bakery frontend editor was disabled by you, how do we apply mobile specific height and padding etc to elements? I can’t see a device changer in the backend editor. Thanks in advance!

Hi, elements should have a design options tab where you can select where they need to be hidden.
If they don’t have one, then you need to adjust your columns : Go edit your current columns that doesn’t show properly on mobile and check this box to make them hidden on mobile

Thank you for the quick reply. So to clarify you can’t change things like font sizes and element padding for each device and instead you are suggesting making multiple elements and using the visibility rules on the column to hide and show per device.
Hi, unfortunately, yes. We are using the WPbakery page builder which is quite old and elements don’t have detailed responsive options.
That’s why we just released an addons for the Visual Composer theme builder that contains all the demos from both of our themes, you can check it here if you want to use a really better frontend page builder but still have our demos ready : Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer.
