Hello, just coming back to this theme on an old website of ours. If the WP Bakery frontend editor was disabled by you, how do we apply mobile specific height and padding etc to elements? I can’t see a device changer in the backend editor. Thanks in advance!

Hi, elements should have a design options tab where you can select where they need to be hidden.
If they don’t have one, then you need to adjust your columns : Go edit your current columns that doesn’t show properly on mobile and check this box to make them hidden on mobile

Thank you for the quick reply. So to clarify you can’t change things like font sizes and element padding for each device and instead you are suggesting making multiple elements and using the visibility rules on the column to hide and show per device.
Hi, unfortunately, yes. We are using the WPbakery page builder which is quite old and elements don’t have detailed responsive options.
That’s why we just released an addons for the Visual Composer theme builder that contains all the demos from both of our themes, you can check it here if you want to use a really better frontend page builder but still have our demos ready : Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer.

The portfolio elements are only text boxes with shortcodes now, not the editable element that it previously was. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi. I have 3 licences for your theme and on one of them I’m trying to update the plugins on I am receiving a message about needing a licence (which the site has and is showing as verified). I’ve checked with my hosting cURL is enabled and the firewall isn’t blocking the mentioned urls in your support article. So I’m not sure what to do. As this is an old site my support is expired so I can’t open a ticket.

Can this theme activate WPBakery Page Builder?
Hello, you can use the plugins and our custom modules.
If you want to activate the “auto-update” you have to purcahse a license but our theme will provide you with plugins update as soon as they become available.

Latest version of the theme gives this error (PHP version 8 ). With or without plugins.
I don’t pay for support, but assumed the theme would work throughout update cycle.
Downgrading back to 7.4 PHP still shows errors on all pages.

It seems there might be an issue with the file path. Without access to your server settings, we can’t tell much. However, since we use the include function, you could try editing the file and using a direct path. Also, you may want to contact your web hosting provider to check if the file is there and if the file permissions are set correctly.

Hi! I have a PHP 8 problem with TheFoxVersion: 3.9.36.
Error = /wp-content/themes/thefox/functions/theme-functions.php:42 Stack trace: #0 ...etc.
If I delete the these lines in theme-functions.php :
$center_logo = ($rd_data[‘rd_logo_width’])/2;
$center_logo_m = ($rd_data[‘rd_logo_width’]+60)/2;
the error is gone.
Could you please fix this PHP 8 error? Or is there a workaround for this?

Anyway, need your advice. I had updated theme to version 3.9.31 (latest). Registered the theme at the website too.
But then I saw this: thefox/woocommerce/cart/cart-shipping.php version 3.6.0 is out of date. The core version is 7.3.0,
May I seek your advice what can I do (the easy way, haha)

If you are using the latest version of our theme updating to 8.0 / 8.1 should be ok, though make sure you take a backup and that all your plugins are also compatible.

Hello to all! I increased PHP version from 7.4.33 to 8.1.12 and the website broke. I have full updates, WP 6.1.1, Theme 3.9.29, Plugins all updated. I rolled back to 7.4.33 and everything came back to normal.
Is the Theme compatible with PHP 8.1.12?
