something wrong with version 11.0.8 – its not getting updated, it keeps showing version 11.0.7 even after the update.
my site got messed after this update – in fact my site home page is gone, has so many posts all of them are not showing on the home page – its an issue with Essential Plugin I think

Little problem related to the last update:
After downloading and uploading the last version of JNews – WordPress Newspaper Magazine Blog AMP Theme I noticed that the style.css file is not up to date. While analyzing the file I noticed that it still reflects Version 11.0.7, but it should be Version 11.0.8. On the other hand, the readme.txt file displays the correct version. In addition to the above, I also noticed that the WPBakery Page Builder Design Options plugin is outdated.
(7 hours ago I sent an email to your technical support but I have not got an answer yet)

Whenever I am trying to create a thread at https://support.jegtheme.com/new-topic/, I get error
You cannot create new topics. It may because your support license is expire, or you haven’t bought this themes yet.

sorry, we can’t quite understand by unlinking the dates, do you want to change the permalink structure for the post and archive?
if that is the case, the permalink structure configuration is not related to our theme, you can change it from WordPress settings, please go to Settings > Permalinks
and then you can select the permalink structure that you want

Hi, is there any way to change the url /account/ to /my-account/ in Account menu?? Now if you clic on My Account goes to “account page” (this is new from theme) but i need that goes to the basic page on Woccommerce “my account”. I was trying to find in theme, but is impossible. Any idea how to do that??

unfortunately we don’t have option to change the url of the account page, by default it will go the the account page that jnews theme provide
if you want to change the url of the account page you need to add additional PHP code that apply filter to ‘jnews_account_page_endpoint’
you can check the code of the nav account in
jnews/class/AccountPage.php

I am using JNEWS from past 5 Years & I am loving it.
For the very first time I am facing a unique issue.
First I am unable to change fonts on the Modules. Then I disabled Lazyload on my website and I was able to change the fonts but now I am unable to change the background colour of the header.

Hello, Our center inherited a site created in WordPress. We recently did a “check” for ADA compliance (using this site: https://www.accessibilitychecker.org/The first item on the list of critical issues is that our social icons don’t have a detailed description.) A WordPress group on Facebook said that the theme (which is JNews) does not give the option to customize the share buttons at the moment. How can we add this information so that we are ADA compliant?

wp-admin > Posts > Categories > “Override Single Post Option” is not working, no matter what changes you make, they will not apply to the posts under that category,
Probably issue with Customize Detail Category or Extended Category Option plugins.
Please check and fix this in the next update
EDIT: Never mind, it seems I have to select the post Primary Category for it to work, thank you

yes, if you want to override the single post option from wp-admin > Posts > Categories > “Override Single Post Option” you need to set the primary category for the posts

did you update the theme before the code is missing on function.php? if that the case, the code is missing because when the theme got updated it will replace all the file in jnews theme folder with new files.
if you want to add additional or custom css you can add it from Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS
the code on additional css will be saved on Wordpress database

This difficult to maintain large css. Appearance > Customizer > Additional CSS. So i created style sheet file. I am not update the theme. Is the theme automatically update ? If means, then how i can stop the auto update.

If this is the case, try to use the JNews Child theme. So when there’s a new update for JNews, your custom style doesn’t remove.
