Hello, why doesn’t the form send an attachment? What’s wrong?

Hi,

If you’re referring to Avada Form’s attachments, they will be saved under ’ /wp-content/uploads/fusion-forms/’ and the email will contain the URL for those. The attachments are not sent with the email directly I’m afraid.

Only one more little question – Is it possible to attach PDF files in Avada forms? Or it could be an issue?

You can control what file types can be uploaded so yes, you can receive PDF uploads in Avada Form if that is what you’re referring to.

Hi AVADA, I wanted to ask if your Theme is compatible with the “Block Visibility” Plugin. I need to set specific days on specific blocks to be visible/ not visible.

We haven’t officially tested that plugin with Avada, however you can set any Containers on any page/area with our builder to be published Until or After a specific date and time out of the box.

If you are checking this from WordPress Dashboard, please make sure that you are on the latest version of Avada that is 7.10.1, if you are not on the latest version you might not see all the new prebuilt websites available to be imported.

You can unregister the site via the Avada support account and then re-register it via the regular registration method in the site

Hello all, Can I have site with Avada on 4 different languages including 3rd country languages) without a plug in – I will translate myself. And can I translate the buttons as well?

If so, what would be the difference of using plug ins (I saw the comments where you advise on plug ins)

A plugin is needed so that you can have 4 versions of each page (for each of the 4 languages).

Also, you can not really load all translations files in a single set language

For such a zip code based locator/search you might need to use a 3rd party WP plugin for this along with Avada. There are several solutions you check out for that.

what if I have working javascript and html code, can I use it inside your template? I created postcode search bar and it works with my google api and return results on google maps. Is that something I would be able to add into your template?

You can use HTML / CSS / JS Code inside the code block in Avada and it should render fine for you, however to provide more assistance on your query specifically we will need to check on your setup, what you can do with Avada is create your own single custom post layout using our Layout Builder which accepts dynamic values and ACF fields.

I identified a bug 2 years ago and I keep forgetting to report it although it keeps affecting a website I assist with. I tore down the site, did a fresh install, rebuilt it, uninstalled plugins, renamed pages, etc. I have done everything possible under the sun. I identified the issue although I don’t know why it happens. The issue is this: - https://www.auditpeak.com/resources/ - https://www.auditpeak.com/resources-cloned/

These two pages are identical. As you can see, one is a copy of the other page. However both pages look different because the moment I indicate in wordpress that the “Resources” page is the blog page, it immediately loses any configurations that is visible on the cloned page. I included the cloned page so you can see how the blog page is supposed to look. If I was to assign the clone page as the blog page it would also look like the current Resources page. It’s an obvious bug…I just don’t know why it happens.

This is not actually a bug but intended behaviour of how the auto generated blog page works, as soon as you assign any page as blog page it is then considered as an archive page so the blog loop can be displayed on it, this is standard WP behaviour and is expected, if you want to show blogs and keep the layout of page intact you can simply use our Blog element or even post Card element, this is all mentioned in our documentation post here => https://avada.com/documentation/displaying-blog-posts-on-your-site/

Hello, I just have a short question when and if at all the problem with special characters in Avada forms will be solved. Unfortunately, nothing has changed in this regard in the last updates and special characters are still displayed incorrectly in the form emails. If you enter them e.g. like this ü, the texts are saved correctly, but are gone again the next time. Here it would be very helpful to solve this problem. It exists already longer. Thanks a lot

Hi, I’ll write it there again of my own accord. Then I’ll definitely get the answer I should buy a new support plan. Only now comes my problem. Why should I now spend $50 again for an error and others are happy when it’s fixed and didn’t have to pay anything. Sorry but no thanks. Where exactly are you seeing this issue? do you mean inside the body email? because you should get the right characters if the encoding option is set, in any case we will need to take a closer look into your issue and get more details before we can assist you with this.

Hi, I’m using the prebuilt lifestyle theme from you and I like it as it is so I don’t want to change anything. However, I do not get the images in the slider changed. If I want to replace the old images with new images, the old ones are still displayed. How can I solve the problem?

Do WooCommerce and WPML included in this purchase? I don’t have to pay extra for install those plugins?

WooCommerce is already a free to use plugin and can be installed in any WordPress installation, regarding the WPML however it does require an additional license and is not bundled with Avada.

Hi, i bought your great theme and support expired but it’s a very simple question, I would appreciate your help:

I have a onepage with a menu with anchors, and then another page which menu goes back to main page with anchors, for example: https://mysite.com/help, but when I return to my homepage with the anchor, all items on the menu are selected as active.

I’ve installed two licenses on company1.com and company2.com.

Now both the companies have merged into one and the management has decided to have both entities under one domain viz. newcompany.com/company1 and newcompany.com/company2. Both will be independent WP installs.

My question here is: 1) Can I use only one license on both WP installs as they are under one domain? 2) Can I then use the spare license on another domain with another website?

Each live production site requires its own separate license so in most cases you will need to purchase a license for each of the installation/site e.g. on subdomains or multisites. There are a few exceptions to this rule as guided in the “Do I need to buy a new license if I use the theme on a subdomain?” section on below page:

Any idea on when the new “Instrument Sans” font from Google will be natively available in Avada?

We rely on the Google Fonts API for bundled fonts. It is up to Google when they decide to add/remove any fonts from there so I’m afraid we don’t have any information regarding the new fonts.
