We have a issue on a client site, all of a sudden after a year of having the site live, we suddenly see the error stating “Your copy of the theme has not been activated. Please navigate to Bridge Dashboard where you can input your purchase code and activate your copy of the theme so you can have access to all the theme features, elements & options.”

Even when the Bridge Dashboard “Registration You have successfully registered your copy of the theme! Note that if you used your purchase code on one installation, you are required to Deregister in order to use the purchase code on a different installation.”

We’ve only registered this code on one domain, live environment.

This error usually occurs if you missed updating the Core plugin.

Hello, I a, trying to import the demo nr bridge430. the import stops on 98% always. I cant change the php time limit from 120, but i did change the max imput to 5000. please help, i need to get the website ready fast and now i am stuck at the beginning. thank you in advance

Hello Qode team, I activated the bridge theme this morning. Since there were some errors after the import (because other things from older themes were apparently still active), I deleted my SQL-database and with it the theme. Now I wanted to register the theme again on the same website with the same name, but I get the information that the theme is already registered. What shall I do now? I had imported the Agriculture demo but was wondering why the header wasn’t visible as shown in the demo. So I thought I’d have to do it all over again… My support has expired, but I don’t need it. The Slider Revolution plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in versions up to, and including, 6.6.12. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers with administrator-level attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site’s server which may make remote code execution possible. While the default settings allow only administrators to exploit this vulnerability, this privilege can be granted to users as low as author.

To update Bridge theme and bundled plugins please follow instructions from this article – How To Update The Bridge WordPress Theme And Bundled Plugins. After you update the theme all of the bundled plugins with available updates should be listed in Appearance > Install Plugins.

Sorry for coming this way with my question. But I have not found a solution to my problem in your help center. The Full width mode does not seem to work on the contact page. You can set the type to Full width via the settings, but the container does not change accordingly. I would like to make the background color of a container on the contact page a different color across the full width, so that it stands out. How can I make this happen? You can set the page to be fullwidth and the content to be in grid, that way you will be able to achieve what you wish.

I tried several times to activate the theme but I can’t. I don’t get an error message but it doesn’t register either which means I can’t download a Demo and the message in Dashboard keeps appearing that I need to activate the theme. Hello since the update of the latest version of your theme 29.6 (I specify that all the plugins are up to date) this breaks the layout of the sites made with js composer. I have several sites with your theme and the problem is on all sites. I had to revert to 29.5 to get everything working. What can cause the problem?

Thanks for writing in! Please, after the update of the theme and all the plugins navigate to Qode Options > General and hit save just in case so that the styles can be regenerated.

I did your procedure but it didn’t work. If I downgrade to 29.5 everything works fine. I have several sites with your theme and the problem is present on all sites when I switch to version 29.6.

Thanks for writing in! As you are using a very old theme you can follow the guidance on how to update the theme and its plugins here.

Also have in mind that Envato Toolkit is an outdated plugin. So, now you should use Envato Market and procedure is pretty much the same.

Please, just go to /wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules and remove whole folder envatowordpresstoolkit This is deprecated Envato Toolkit plugin that is replaced with Envato Market plugin.

If you are using child theme be aware of the following and the changes that needs to be done, you can read more about it here.

Because in Bridge 18.0 we had to change function names as per Themeforest request in order to meet their new coding standards, and child theme modifications must reflect these changes since 18.0 Bridge release. If you have modified functions via child theme, you’ll have to rename functions in the child theme in order your child theme to work after the update.
