Hope all is well! We are having trouble with a very basic feature in your theme – the ‘Featured’ product feature is not working. We have marked several products as featured but see no effect on the frontend/in the shop. We’re reading up about this on Google and yet to find out why this is happening in Basel theme. Our other site built with a different theme seems to be working fine, when we apply the ‘Featured’ product feature. Pls advice. We hope to a quick response. Thanks

Hi, unfortunately for legal reasons 3rd party access is not allowed. We have disabled al plugins and find that the issue remains. We have also tried going inside the page for editing products, under ‘Advanced’ marked ‘1’ and other numbers for products to appear at the top in the shop, but it did not work. A developer we spoke to think the issue might be because the Basel theme has not been updated for a while, and therefore missed many Woocommerce updates. Also worth noting WooCommerce did another update today. Pls advise, also consider checking this on your end as I’m sure many others are facing the same problem – it’s a standard feature and should work. Thanks

Hi, we activated one of the default WP themes and we found that it worked. When Basel was reactivated, the ‘featured’ products didn’t work work any more. We are now sure it’s the Basel theme. Looking forward to a quick solution to this, we’re kind of desperate, it’s Black Friday. Thanks!

Hi, we dont have a server for this. Isn’t it easier to check this on your theme’s demo given hundreds of people are buying and using your theme? We’re missing out on Black Friday sales and will miss out on Christmas sales again if we cannot get a solution to this. We’re pleading as this is seriously disrupting our business! We have hundreds of products and unable to push the bestselling ones up, we bought this theme in good fatih.

Also note that while we want to ‘Feature’ some products, we realise that featured products carry the “HOT” tags on the side of each photo and we do not want all products we feature to carry this tag it would be odd. This means we need the ‘Menu Ordered’ feature (https://i.postimg.cc/W4SRhkTT/Screenshot-02.png) to work too, to avoid all products appearing with the ‘HOT’ tags.

We can’t say exactly what is wrong with your website. We wouldn’t be able to check it without being able to reproduce it somehow.

It’s a customization error that your theme has, and if it’s been six months since I bought the theme, now I can’t fix it because I don’t have technical support. This theme doesn’t allow to configure the sidebars properly, I can’t make a sidebar appear in the projects category archives. Can’t you give me an answer to this problem?

The sidebar is a very important element on web pages, and I need to place it on the pages I want. When a theme has such an important lack in its configuration, the authors of the theme provide some php code to insert in some file, or some other solution. You provide absolutely no solution. I have even tried some sidebar plugins, and none of them work with this theme. For me it is very important to have that sidebar in the category archives, and you tell me that it is absolutely impossible. That’s why I have rated you with one star.

You are asking for a feature that is not included in our theme by default. Basel is designed to have a full-width portfolio masonry grid without a sidebar. There is no easy code to add a sidebar there; you could see this before purchasing our theme. Noticed a possible Bug, When in Mobile view, and shop page layout has Off Canvas sidebar for mobile ON, and you have BASEL WooCommerce Layered Nav in the widgets with a Display Type of Drop Down the Drop down option does not display when viewing from the mobile. Please advise, this is a filter on the sidebar. I cannot see this in your demo due to the setup not the same. Many thanks
