thinking of making a purchase of this theme but i am curious its very slow… Is there a solution for speed?

The latest version of this theme (v3.16.0) seems not be working properly with the latest Wordpress version (6.3.2). I’ve tried it on a clean Wordpress install with only the required plugins installed and the imported demo content. For example the, Homepage Widget Area is not being shown on the homepage.

Please update this theme to be working with the latest Wordpress version.

I understand that you might be a one-man band, juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, but that’s no excuse for the level of support I’ve received. I’ve waited nearly 15 days for a response to an “URGENT” request, only to receive a reply that resolved absolutely nothing.

Furthermore, while the Zox News theme might be suitable for simple blogging or news posts, it’s evident that it falls short in other applications. It doesn’t seem to work well with other very popular WordPress plugins, which is a significant drawback. Such lapses not only tarnish the reputation of your product but also force loyal customers like myself to reconsider their choices.

It’s high time you reflect on your business practices and prioritize customer support. If this is the kind of service one can expect, I might need to reconsider where I invest my time and money in the future. I have responded to your ticket several times. It was determined that your “issue” was as a result of a custom post type that is not compatible with the theme. I also gave you a solution to remove the category feature from the posts.

As previously mentioned, if you have any further questions or issues, please reply in your ticket and I will respond as soon as possible. Posting here will not expedite the process, and actually slows it down.

I would like to see the Reviewer plugin in action please. I tried the demo but it didn’t feature this plugin. Where can I find out more please?

Hello, I noticed a problem about articles comments, when php is under version 8+ : “Warning: Undefined variable $user_ID in /home/clients/xxxxxxxxx/xxxx/xxxx/wp-content/themes/zox-news/comments.php on line 49” No problem with php 7.4 but please check it.

Problem comes from “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”, in discussion options.

If you are referring to the ads in sidebars, you should be able to use a plugin to display different ads. Otherwise, the other ad areas like the leaderboard ads only take one set of code for all categories.

I won’t rule it out, but there are no plans to add it this theme. It is currently available with the ZoxPress theme, though.
