domain change -> license
I purchased 2 licenses for Uncode. The domains they are registered are no longer in use. I need to have the licenses removed from those domains, so I can use them with other domains.

A suggestion…include a feature to release domains in your control panel. I have this option with other top themes I’ve purchased on ThemeForest. It would save both your team…and your end users lots of time!

PS: We just want to add that if you have this feature on other themes it is only to allow migration from a staging site to the final domain (for no theme is it possible according to Envato Policy to use the same license for different projects). We also invited you to contact Envato if you think our directions are not correct.

Every theme I’ve ever purchased on Envato is 1 license = 1 domain. If you no longer are using it with that domain, you release the license and use it with a different domain. It can ONLY BE USED WITH ONE DOMAIN AT A TIME – but it is NOT permanently attached to a specific domain, I have read through the Envato Standard License and no where do I find what you are claiming – that when the domain is no longer required or the site is taken down, the license can’t be used on another domain.

I have also read on the community forums that the license can be transferred to a new domain.

You have implied that the there is a clause in the Envato Standard License that specifically says “ Once that domain is no longer required, the License ends when that site is taken down.” I do not find anything like this at all, so in case I missed it, please paste the exact clause in your reply to this message.

You can also read this thread on the Envato forum where a Envato support representative responds:   “If the website was the same and you were just moving domains for example, you could re-register the license. But a new website for a different purpose requires a new license.”

PHP bug since the last theme update. Fail to check that variable ’$media_post_id’ is set before using. Here is the error:

Undefined variable $media_post_id in /wp-content/themes/uncode/partials/elements.php on line 3247.

Please ensure the variable it set before using it. My logs are full of the above error (thousands of times).

how to make top bar sticky?

Hello hernawan! Sorry, there is no option to make the topbar sticky together with the navbar. It could be simulated with custom CSS, but the navbar height is used for numerous calculations within the theme layout, and the topbar is not included in these calculations and this could lead to conflicts.

Hi, is it possible to use the Woo sorting filter (https://ibb.co/7byKRcB) on both desktop and mobile devices without having to use any of the ajax filters?

Even if I select none in the ajax filters in the filters tab (https://ibb.co/bvMnp0b), the show/hide filters toggle switch would still be visible on both mobile and desktop. I’m trying to disable that and simply show the woo sorting filter (https://ibb.co/LxDt4sK) on all the devices.

Just the ajax woo sorting filter would be great for all devices without the toggle switch

Hello deGroup, if I understand the layout you have in mind, the “Add to Cart” button takes the default colours, so the only way to change it is with custom CSS or by modifying the WooCommerce “Simple Button” template in the child theme. As for the Quick View button, the change is much more invasive: the icon hangs on a hook inside the media block and is not meant to be displayed independently. You should append the class method to another hook and style the button as you wish. Unfortunately, this is not a customisation that is part of normal support.

Hello, we had to migrate our website’s hosting platform and in order to re-install the encode privacy plugin it told us to remove the code but now we can’t re-register the product back with the original purchase code.

Hey there, Folks… So, I was using this purchased theme on a site, used Uncode’s tools to unregistered it, and not trying to use it on another site and I keep getting errors stating that the code won’t work. Anyone else having issues with this??? I should be able to apply the liscense to another site if it is no longer associated with a previous site. Thanks folks!!!

Hello! First off, I’ve been loving the theme so far – one of the easiest to work with hands down.

That said, recently there seems to be an issue with self-hosted video backgrounds not working on mobile anymore. In Safari I get the following error in the console “Unhandled Promise Rejection: NotAllowedError: The request is not allowed by the user agent or the platform in the current context, possibly because the user denied permission.” I presume there is a similar issue in Chrome, since the videos do not play there either and the fallback media posters don’t get displayed in either browser.

Any thoughts on what the issue might be? Thanks in advance!

We purchased the “Uncode” theme 5 or 6 years ago. Currently, we are facing a lot of issues in the design and functioning of our website. Our developer has raised the issue of theme not being up-to-date. Now here is the problem:

1. When we go to the “Updates” under the “Dashboard” option of WordPress and scroll down to the “themes” updates part, it shows that the theme is up-to-date and no theme updates are available.

2. Conversely, when we go to the themes section from the dashboard menu of the WordPress, it shows the theme version for Uncode as “1.4.2”, while the latest version as of now is “2.8.6.”

We are unable to update the theme to the latest version and are constantly facing issues in managing our website. Sometimes, the design of the website is affected severely, and at times the plugins don’t work.

Hi, I’ve purchased Uncode a while ago, to test it for a website that in the end was never finished. The project was abandoned. Now I would like to use it for another project on an other domain. I deregistered and deleted the theme on the old domain and wanted to register it again on the new domain, but found out that it doesn’t work that way. Can you help me or do I have to buy a new license?

Hi, I bought your theme and installed it on a test domain for 2 days to see what it looks like and take advantage of the 6 months support if I have a problem. Before uninstalling it I deactivated the code before uninstalling the theme and deleting the domain. Several months later I decided to test the theme on another domain and the code no longer worked, I contacted the author to unblock the problem and they told me that I had to buy another theme because it had already been installed on a domain. I haven’t used the theme that I paid a fortune for, I’ve taken steps to deactivate the code on the domain, and now I find myself with an unusable licence. Is this normal?

Hello, I have just purchased, installed and registered your great them. Since the server requirements of my hosting package were not sufficient according to various messages of the theme I de-registered and deinstalled it again.

Now the theme can not be registered with my puchchase code on a new better hosting packgage.
