Good day, I’m in the process of choosing a theme for a restaurant website and considering Enfold for it. I used it for a non profit animal shelter and do love this theme.
I do have a question regarding elements. I was unable to see which one would work to achieve the home page top section I am looking to create.
I would like 3 even columns (boxes) full width or possibly a larger left 1/2 width box with 2 right boxes one over the other. I would like to have 2 of those 3 boxes with background image (that should be simple enough but I would like 1 box to have a looping video in the background. There will be title and a bit of text along with buttons in each box linking to the content I am offering (Reserve – Events – Menus) See here for an image of the desired look… in this case, the middle one would be a vid https://www.griffingraffix.com/media-boxes-with-text.jpgThe doubt for me is how to achieve the looping video background and which element will work best work for this. Obviously, they would have to stack on mobile.
Thanks for helping me finalize my decision by helping me figure out if I can achieve this with enfold.

You can use the Grid Row element ( https://i.imgur.com/yztEBNG.png ) in the Layout Elements tab of the Advanced Layout Builder to create such a layout. However, the cells of the Grid Row element do not support video backgrounds. Please feel free to request this at https://github.com/KriesiMedia/Enfold-Feature-Requests
You can use a GIF if that works for you. You can simply upload it to the media and select it as your background image. Please, make sure to select the full size.

I’m sorry for the delayed response.
1- As long as you select one of the system fonts or load Google fonts locally ( https://kriesi.at/support/topic/loading-google-fonts-locally-for-gdpr-compliance/ ) and do not use third-party services such as Google Maps, all scripts will be loaded locally.
2- Enfold is compatible with Contact Form 7 and many users are using WP Rocket. However, we didn’t test Enfold with The SEO Framework plugin.
3- I’m sorry but this isn’t correct.

Hello! I have a problem with the main menu on a site (janhammarlund.se) where it overlaps the logo when decreasing the window size, and I can’t seem to find the solution. Normally it will change automatically to the mobile type menu when making the window smaller, but not here. Do you have a solution or suggestion for fixing this? Thanks in advance // Hans / Sweden

Please refer to this post https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/menu/#toggle-id-87 and switch to the mobile menu at 1400px. You can simply add the code to the Enfold theme options > General Styling > Quick CSS field and change “1224px” in the code to “1400px”.
Please make sure to clear cache after adding the code.

Enfold has very poor header settings. You can’t change the logo for Mobile. The icon order cannot be set. There is no icon “my account” – this is a scandal! How to set this popular header mobile layout?

Whatever i change – it does not have any effect (Yes, i cleared cache and i did changes on Enfold ->Settings->Merging CSS & JS)
Same issue with the image information on images of a masonry gallery: Title black, description white and no way to fix it not even changing the Color Setting in Enfold (no, there is no Custom CSS involved)

My licence is older than a year and since this is not “customization” i fear you have to answer here. Or you need to create a temp access to your forum
OK, i dont know why it works now but i repeated the migration several times from dev to live and now it works. Maybe you should check your Import / Export routine – there for sure are things which dont work well – since years
Wordpress 6.4 was released November 7, when will the theme have a version that works with that? I’d love me site to be secure, functioning and up to date.

The message is there all the time. It doesn’t have anything to do with editing the page. If you just visit the site and go from one page to another, you will see the popup message. If I change the theme to another theme, the issue goes away. I have also disabled all the plugins and cleared the cache, but the issue exists. I opened a thread on your support forum yesterday, but there was no response there.

There isn’t an option for it in the Enfold theme options however, you can refer to this post https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/logo/#text-logo-with-subtext and add it manually.
You can add the code to the bottom of the Functions.php file of your child theme ( https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/child-theme/ ) or use the Code Snippets ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/ ) plugin.

This issue is usually related to the Upload_max_filesize value and increasing it fixes it.
Please make sure the following requirements for server settings are met: Set max_input_vars to 5000 and memory_limit to 256M. Max_execution_time = 30 Post_max_size = 32M Upload_max_filesize = 32M Max_input_time = 60
You can contact your hosting provider and they can increase these values for you
