I hope the entire team is doing well during this holiday season. I’m reaching out to inform you about what seems to be a bug with the ‘Star rating’ module.
The settings allow configuring a rating from 1 to 5, including increments such as 1.5, 2.5, and so on. However, when I set a rating at 2.5, 3.5, etc., it doesn’t appear. The stars display properly for whole numbers without any issue, for instance, a rating of 2, 3, or 5.

Utilizing the Envato Market plugin will only facilitate automatic updates for direct products purchased from the Envato marketplace. The bundled Salient plugins, however, are not individually sold on Envato as standalone products. Instead, they are included plugins within the Salient theme.
The bundled plugins are not directly connected to the Envato Market plugin for updates and require you to update via the WP admin or from the WP CLI (if desired).

I have a video background on a hero section that I have set on autoplay and on mobile I cant figure out how to get the video to play there as well – it just defaults to the placeholder picture. I’m able to see your video autoplaying when accessing that URL. Can you verify that you don’t have power saving mode enabled on your device? Power saving modes will disable the autoplaying of videos to converse battery.

Hey betoboissa, you’re getting the error: Google Maps JavaScript API error: Invalid Key
Google didn’t previously require an API key to use it many years ago. You would either need to update your theme to get access to a Google map API key field which was added in version 7 or manually edit the maps script to include an API key.

Thanks for the feedback. I made a copy of the site and updated the theme, but the site broke in several places. Would it be possible to disable the Google maps function in theme version 2.0? Or can you send me version 7 to test if it will break the site?

The client has two sites that use the Salient theme, and we are in the process of taking over the management from the agency to our own. To continue receiving theme updates, we need to purchase Salient and update the Personal API token.
For the first site, we have successfully purchased the Salient theme and updated the Personal API Token in Envato Market Plugin using our Envato account.
Now, we are wondering about the approach for the second site. Ideally, we would like to use the same Envato account. Should we proceed with purchasing the Salient theme again for the second site and create and update the Personal API Token as we did for the first site?
The main concern is how the system would recognize that the second theme should be associated with the second site. Could you please provide guidance on the recommended steps to ensure a seamless process for purchasing and updating the API Token for the Salient theme on the second site?

When generating tokens for multiple clients from the same account, you can use the “Single Item Token” when setting up the Envato Market plugin on each site. Here’s a guide on the process.

We’ve updated theme to latest version. However, We’re using Woo.com’s Dynamic Pricing plugin – where we have set quantity discount. These don’t work accurately on the “Mini Cart” during price of the product as well as the subtotal at the bottom both show mismatch numbers and that’s confusing for customers (works on /cart page)
Also please provide a widget area to use on the Mini Cart where some instructions / image can be added.

1. That’s likely occurring because the plugin is only running the update logic on the regular cart page, as the default minimart doesn’t provide quantity selection. I’ve noted to reach out to the plugin developer in regards, but feel free to open a ticket on the support forum so we can get access to the plugin for testing.

Hey shaky512, videos can not utilize the autoplay functionality cross-browser when sound is enabled. This is a widely accepted policy in place for major browser to improve the user experience. If you need to play a video that has sound, you’ll need to use one of the video player elements.

Unfortunately, the tabs element is only designed to be placed into a column and can’t be nested through the page builder. You would need to manually add the element shortcode inside of the carousel in the “Classic Mode” editor, however, it hasn’t been tested in that setup.

Hey notcholas, In the Salient options panel > header navigation > off canvas menu tab, there are many styles available to choose in the “Off Canvas Menu Style” field from which are click triggered rather than hover triggered.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in option to have regular submenu drop downs trigger via a click rather than the default hover at this time. However, I’ve noted your +1 for the idea.
