changing entry blog title from h2 to h1 – any clue? Anyone

The only way is to modify H tags in the template file directly:
wp-content/themes/bridge/templates/blog_single-loop.php
In the file, search for h2 tags and replace all of them with h1 tags:

Install and activate the child theme, create the templates folder inside the bridge-child folder, and upload the modified file inside bridge-child/templates folder, the file path should be:
wp-content/themes/bridge-child/templates/blog_single-loop.php

I recently updated Bridge theme and now none of the options are taking effect. Site logo, typography, colors, etc. I hit ‘save changes’ and refresh the site—no change. Then when I navigate away / refresh the options page, all settings have been reverted and logo images have been removed. I am on WP 6.4.2 and Bridge 30.2

Hello. I just updated to the new 30.2 and the logo has disappeared from all pages except the homepage. I read in the comments and made a Force display logo in css. but it does not work. You do have our Listing search element which if you add to a page will show the listings of the criteria for the search, for example: https://bridge474.qodeinteractive.com/job-listings/?qode-ls-main-search-listing-type=all&qode-ls-main-search-listing-region=42&qode-ls-main-search-price-max=But the Search element will lead you to the archive page with your listings that is automatically generated.
Unfortunately you do not have an option to add a big map with the results individually on a page.

BUG FIX – I tried to submit the following bug report and fix in support but it would not take it because my support expired. Qode you might want to change that since I am trying to help you. After updating to latest version, 30.2, I noticed the following issue on sites with SSL. Going to the site using https works fine. Going by way of http would produce the WP “critical error”. I tracked down the error to an extra comma on line 208 of map.php. Works fine if removed. bridge/framework/admin/meta-boxes/title/map.php.
UPDATE – extra comma is on line 207, not 208.

Thanks for writing in! Within the latest version of the theme if you want to add the Twitter X icon to one of the widget areas, for example, the footer widget area (under Appearance -> Widgets), you can create a test page, and add the Icon element via WPBakery:

Then, switch to Classic Mode, and copy the icon shortcode from the Text field:

On the test page: frederickcooper.co.uk/test-twitter – The icons show perfectly. But on the Footer where it needs to be: frederickcooper.co.uk – The icons display differently.
I’ve tried inspecting the CSS, to see which part of the footer’s code is preventing the icons from displaying the correct size.|

Thanks for writing in! By default, the WP Bakery Plugin is available for page editing only. However, you can use it to edit other post types (such as blog posts or portfolios) as well. To do so, navigate to WP Bakery Page Builder > Role Manager > Post Types, select Custom from the dropdown and mark all the checkboxes available there.
