Good afternoon.
I have tried to include a new field in the customer’s data (DNI/CIF) through several plugins but, although it appears in the customer’s file, when it arrives at the checkout it is not asked for.
We then have to call the customer to ask for that information because it does not appear on the form where the information is requested at checkout.
The plugins I have tried are “WC – APG Campo NIF/CIF/NIE” and “WooCommerce Checkout Manager”.
Could you help me?

Hello, pre-sales question: I can see that the theme last update was on 24 May 2023. Is the theme still supported? Will there be more updates?

Our theme is up to date and has no critical issues. Although the last version was released last year, it received a few patches that are visible only in the dashboard. The next update will be released in a couple of months.

I bought the theme but I don’t see WP Bakery Page Builder plugin in the ‘Install Required Plugins’. I opened the folder package I downloaded from the ThemeForest and that has a plugin named js_composer.zip – Is this the same as WP Bakery? Or Am I missing something? Please help.

our need is broader, to explain, Google recommends more contrast between the white background and the text.
Several of the theme’s default texts have this colour code: 9E9E9E
This grey colour is too low in terms of contrast for Google, which flags it up.
Is there a place in the theme options to edit this colour?

My support has expired but if someone could help me with this. I saw that the error_log is way too big and inside there is big chink of code that say WordPress database error Got a packet bigger than ‘max_allowed_packet’ bytes for query UPDATE `dbname_options` SET `option_value` and has many strings inside. The file keeps increasing about 16MB every second until it reaches the maximum size of disk. After disabling all the plugins I found that the problem is the XTEMOS Post Types which I delete it and reinstall it with the same results. Has anything similar happened to anyone else?

This functionality comes with WooCommerce plugin and not with the theme. Also, we checked on our website and there are no issues with the theme.
My support has already expired, but the problem is that the default custom theme doesn’t work, even downloading all the plugins didn’t work, I don’t think it’s fair to buy a support update for something simple that is a system error.

Hello, I have been using Basel for quite some time for a bilingual online store, but I’ve noticed recently that the WP Bakery is not updated and the updates have always come with the theme updates. However, there hasn’t been an update since last May. What is going on with that? Also, can you pls add Elementor to the theme? While being top notch at the time, WP Bakery is now such an outdated and so tiresome to work with builder…. quite frustrating that we still have to work with it when other new and more user-friendly alternatives are out there… Cheers!

Currently, I’m unable to assist with that. As you’ve noted from the official response from Rank Math, it would be best to directly communicate with their support team. Alternatively, you could set up a staging environment and install the free version of Rank Math to address the compatibility issue with this plugin.
Could you please provide instructions on what temporary changes need to be made in the code? Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you could implement all necessary updates and release a new version of the theme, as it currently appears to be outdated.

Hope all is well! We are having trouble with a very basic feature in your theme – the ‘Featured’ product feature is not working. We have marked several products as featured but see no effect on the frontend/in the shop. We’re reading up about this on Google and yet to find out why this is happening in Basel theme. Hi, unfortunately for legal reasons 3rd party access is not allowed. We have disabled al plugins and find that the issue remains. We have also tried going inside the page for editing products, under ‘Advanced’ marked ‘1’ and other numbers for products to appear at the top in the shop, but it did not work. A developer we spoke to think the issue might be because the Basel theme has not been updated for a while, and therefore missed many Woocommerce updates. Also worth noting WooCommerce did another update today. Pls advise, also consider checking this on your end as I’m sure many others are facing the same problem – it’s a standard feature and should work. Thanks

Hi, we activated one of the default WP themes and we found that it worked. When Basel was reactivated, the ‘featured’ products didn’t work work any more. We are now sure it’s the Basel theme. Looking forward to a quick solution to this, we’re kind of desperate, it’s Black Friday. Thanks!

We’re missing out on Black Friday sales and will miss out on Christmas sales again if we cannot get a solution to this. We’re pleading as this is seriously disrupting our business! Also note that while we want to ‘Feature’ some products, we realise that featured products carry the “HOT” tags on the side of each photo and we do not want all products we feature to carry this tag it would be odd. This means we need the ‘Menu Ordered’ feature (https://i.postimg.cc/W4SRhkTT/Screenshot-02.png) to work too, to avoid all products appearing with the ‘HOT’ tags.
