I have had this theme on a website for several years and then suddenly stopped working today. I’m going to attempt a theme upgrade but can’t see any instructions and there are no ‘update’ options in wordpress. Anyone know the update instructions so I can try and get the site working again?
Hi,
You can update the theme directly from your WordPress admin dashboard if automatic updates are enabled. To do this, go to Appearance > Themes, and you should see an update option if there is a new version available.
If there are no automatic updates available, you can manually update the theme by following these steps:
- Log in to your Envato account and download the latest version of the theme.
- In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes.
- Click on Add New and then Upload Theme.
- Choose the downloaded theme file and upload it.
- Activate the new version of the theme.
These steps should help you get the latest version of the theme running on your website. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out for further assistance.

Hello, I am interested in buying this theme. I opened the classic Listify. I pressed the Search button which opened the listing alongside a map display. The list does not grow or shrink when I zoom in or zoom out the map. The question is, is the listing map bound or not?
Hi,
Thank you for your interest in the Listify theme.
The listing map is indeed bound to the listings. By viewing the map, you can adjust and obtain listings upon zooming in or out. You can test this functionality by zooming in or out within the listings map on our demo site here: Listify Classic Listings.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please let us know.

I just double-checked and the listing on the left side does not update upon zoom-in or zoom-out the map. it shows 61 Results found no matter if you zoom-in or zoom out the map view. Map zoom-in or zoom-out does not affect the Radius control
Hi there,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
By default, zooming in or out on the map does not affect the listings displayed on the left side. The number of results and the listings displayed are determined by the filters applied on the left side, not by the map zoom level. This behavior is intended to ensure consistency in the displayed results regardless of the map’s zoom level.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to let us know.

Hi, is it possible to mass import listings from csv and assign them to a plan? Thank you
Hi there
Thank you for your inquiry.
Yes, it is possible to mass import listings from a CSV file using the WP All Import plugin. However, please note that assigning these listings to specific plans would have to be done manually after the import process.
If you have any further questions or need assistance with the process, feel free to reach out.

This is absolutely the worst theme in terms of how it’s evolved ever to exist on themeforest. Could have been literally unbelievble by now, but no; each year brings a new ‘update’ – ‘compatible with new WP’ – wow±!
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the evolution of the theme. We are always looking for ways to improve and your input is valuable to us.
Could you please let us know what specific features or improvements you would like to see in the theme? Your suggestions will help us understand your needs better and guide our future updates.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Hi, i have bought this many years ago and i am back to buy another for another use case.
1. free listers put up phone number and video. Can I charge a limited duration access to people who wish to view the phone number and video? These people will have to create an account and pay money before they can view the phone number and video.
2. can the explore page’s main photo be a human portrait instead of landscape imagery?
3. 2 user types will be required. one for the lister and one to sign up account, pay and view hidden data.
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out with your questions.
Regarding charging for limited duration access to view the phone number and video of listings, users do have the option to hide the phone number and email of the listing owner until the user pays for the package to unhide them. However, we do not currently have hiding options for video content. Implementing this feature would require custom work or visibility plugins linked to payment systems like WooCommerce.
As for the main photo on the explore page being a human portrait instead of landscape imagery, achieving this would require customizations. The current size is optimized for landscape-based images, such as featured images or sliders.
Regarding the requirement for two user types—one for the lister and one to sign up, pay, and view hidden data—we currently only have a single user type that can sign up, depending on the WP Job Manager listing submission settings. Enabling multiple user types would also require custom development.
Please let us know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else we can assist you with.

regarding your 1st sentence, the payment will not be a per listing basis but rather a site wide payment that can show the hidden fields across all listings.
do you think woocommerce ultimate membership can do this? Do you all integrate?
Hi,
We have not tested the theme with the WooCommerce Ultimate Membership plugin, so we cannot confirm its compatibility for the specific functionality you mentioned. However, you are welcome to try it on your end.

Hello,
Thank you for providing the details. It seems that the issue you’re encountering is related to deprecated APIs and specifically with the jquery.min.js file. The message suggests that an unload listener is being registered, which may impact browser optimizations.
This could be addressed by updating the code that’s using the unload event listener to use alternatives like pagehide or visibilitychange events, as recommended in the message.
Unfortunately, without seeing the specific code causing this issue, it’s challenging to provide a precise solution. could you please let us know where you are encountering this error. You can do so by getting in touch with us here: Create a New Ticket

Hello,
Thank you for providing more information. Based on the screenshot we provided regarding the speed issues, it seems that most of these issues may be caused by other plugins or scripts on your site rather than the theme itself. Hello Brayan,
Yes i found out that it’s WP job manager that’s starting this problem. How can i check what the right settings are in this plugin?
Hope to hear from you.
Best regards,
Hello there,
To adjust the settings for WP Job Manager, you can navigate to the Job Manager > Settings section in your WordPress dashboard. From there, you can configure various aspects of the plugin to suit your needs.
It’s worth noting that some of our plugins and themes are integrated with WP Job Manager, so they might also affect its functionality.
Regarding your suspicion that the plugin might be causing the problem, I recommend using the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot. This tool allows you to diagnose conflicts between plugins and themes. You can follow this guide for detailed instructions: link to the guide.

Hey there! Just stumbledHey there! I noticed you’re the developer of the Listify theme, which is a fantastic directory and business listing WordPress theme. I’ve been exploring different plugins to enhance the functionality of my website, and I came across this interesting plugin called Youzify. It seems to offer a comprehensive solution for WordPress user profiles, social media integration, and community building.
I was wondering if the Listify theme is compatible with Youzify. It would be great to have seamless integration between the theme and the plugin to create a more engaging and interactive experience for my users. Can you provide any insights on how these two can work together to enhance the overall functionality of my website?
Also, I’m curious to know how the Listify theme handles user-generated content and if it has any built-in features to encourage user engagement and interaction. It’s important for me to create a vibrant and active community on my website, and any guidance or suggestions in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing your insights on these matters.
Hi there,
Thank you for your interest in the Listify theme and for reaching out to us regarding the compatibility of the Youzify plugin.
While we haven’t officially tested Youzify with the Listify theme, Listify is built on default WordPress standards, so in theory, the plugin should work without issues as long as there are no conflicts. However, it’s important to note that our user role management is primarily controlled by the WP Job Manager and WooCommerce plugins. Therefore, it’s essential to ensure that Youzify is compatible with these plugins as well for seamless integration.
Regarding user-generated content, Listify primarily focuses on directory listing functionality. While it does offer features such as reviews through the Reviews for WP Job Manager plugin, it doesn’t have built-in features specifically designed for user engagement and interaction beyond directory listings. If you’re looking to create a vibrant community on your website, additional customization or the integration of community-building plugins may be necessary, which may require custom development work beyond the scope of our support.
If you decide to proceed with integrating Youzify or any other plugins, we recommend testing them thoroughly on a staging site first to ensure compatibility and functionality before implementing them on your live site.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to let us know.

Can we setup monetisation on a pay per lead model?
So prospect would fill out their requirements and we’d sell this information a companies on a per lead basis?
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the Listify theme does not offer monetization on a pay-per-lead basis. Typically, you can monetize your website by allowing users to add, claim, or feature their listings on your site for a fee.
If you’re looking to implement a pay-per-lead model, you may need to explore custom development or third-party plugins that offer such functionality. However, please note that this would involve customizing the theme beyond its default capabilities, which may require the assistance of a developer familiar with WordPress and Listify.
If you have any further questions or need assistance with other aspects of your website, feel free to let me know.

If I have one active Paid listing package, the theme is not displaying the free publishing options, how can I have the free publishing available along with the paid one?
Also, if I create a paid package that costs “0”, it still requires a payment.
My ultimate goal is to have:
1 Free & 1 Paid packages
that the users can use at their convenience, how can I achieve that?
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out. In the theme, both free and paid publishing options should be visible. If you’re experiencing issues where only the paid option is displayed, it’s possible that there might be some fields within the packages that are not filled out completely.
To troubleshoot this further, could you please ensure that all fields of the packages, including any required fields, are filled out properly? If everything appears to be in order and you’re still encountering issues, we may need to investigate further.
Feel free to create a ticket with us through the following link: Create a New Ticket. Our support team will be happy to assist you in resolving this issue and achieving your ultimate goal of having both free and paid packages available for users.

I don’t know how to see the version because my admin dashboard is now having critical error due to this issue. But I’m using the WP Job Manager – Contact Listing from the install package included with the theme. I would say this is probably outdated already and causing compatibility issues with the latest wordpress/woocommerce updates!
There is no way to get support from you if the support has expired and this is so unfair because you are responsible for making sure that your theme is working all the time and up to the latest compatibility updates with wordpress core and other plugins!!
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out and explaining the issue you’re encountering with the WP Job Manager – Contact Listing plugin.
To assist you further and diagnose the compatibility issue, we may need to access your WordPress dashboard to investigate the problem thoroughly. However, please note that to receive support, your support license must be active and not expired.
Support licenses are managed through the Envato marketplace on ThemeForest, and it’s important to ensure that your license is up to date to qualify for support assistance.
If you’re experiencing compatibility issues due to outdated plugins or WordPress updates, we recommend updating your plugins to their latest versions. If the issue persists, please consider renewing your support license so we can provide you with the necessary assistance to resolve the problem.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,
I plan on using this plugin for property listings. A lot of your add-ons specifically call out WP Job Manager such as “EXTENDED LOCATION FOR WP JOB MANAGER”. Do I need to use WP Job Manager regardless of if I am using job listings or not?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
While the Listify theme is designed to work seamlessly with WP Job Manager, it is not mandatory to use the WP Job Manager add-ons if you are not planning to utilize job listings. The WP Job Manager plugin is a required component for Listify, alongside WooCommerce, as it provides essential functionalities for listing and managing various types of content, including properties.
The add-ons, such as “Extended Location for WP Job Manager,” are optional and are meant to enhance the functionality of the theme, particularly for those who are using the WP Job Manager plugin for job listings. For example, the “Extended Location” add-on allows for features like auto-location detection and location suggestions within the theme’s location search field, which can be beneficial for users managing job listings.
If you are solely interested in property listings and do not intend to use WP Job Manager for job listings, you can still utilize Listify without installing the WP Job Manager add-ons. However, if you do choose to use WP Job Manager for any purpose, the add-ons can provide additional features and customization options.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else we can assist you with.

Is there a way for customers to request a refund from the organizer? Is there a refund manager in the backend?
Hello,

Currently, our theme does not include a built-in refund manager in the backend. If a customer wishes to request a refund from the organizer, they would need to communicate directly with the listing owner or listing owner to discuss and arrange any refunds or cancellations.

So does tht mean they have a dashboard to add products? (prices, photos, description, etc.). And when their products are purchased does the money go directly into their acccounts?
Thanks
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out with your questions!
Yes, you can create custom fields for listings with the help of the Fields Editor plugin by Smyles. This plugin allows you to add custom fields such as Wi-Fi, rooftop, balcony, etc., and even add icons for each of those fields.
Currently, listings cannot be directly associated with events within our theme. This feature has not been added by default yet.
The listing page is customizable to a certain extent. You can move around different sections and even add HTML blocks to add your own custom content.
Achieving a design similar to the one you linked would require customizations to our theme. However, please note that we do not offer support for custom work.
Yes, listing owners can sell products on their page. This feature is enabled with the Products for WP Job Manager plugin, and the products are added directly by the site admin. For listing owners who want to have their own dashboard to manage their products, you can use the Product Vendors plugin. This plugin provides a limited backend dashboard for listing owners to add and manage their products, including prices, photos, descriptions, etc. When their products are purchased, the money goes directly into their accounts.
I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need clarification, feel free to ask.

Pre-sales questions: (1) does your “Pro” curated bundle include all add-ons? (2) I wish to make a coaching site where coaches can sell hours as products OR they can book hours—would the “Recite” theme handle this, or would I need to buy Listify?
Hello,
Thank you for your inquiry. Regarding your questions:
Yes, our “Pro” curated bundle includes all add-ons mentioned in the bundle. You’ll have access to all the add-ons included in the bundle.
For a coaching site where coaches can sell hours as products or book hours, both the “Recite” theme and “Listify” could serve your needs. However, they are more oriented towards listing directory themes unless you specifically list your coaches where people can book. Please note that the booking functionality would typically be administered by the WooCommerce Booking plugin, which can be integrated into either theme to facilitate appointment bookings.

Hello,
Currently, we don’t have an option for “Login as User” in our system, allowing site admins to log in as listing users to manage their listings directly.
In our setup, the role chosen in the WP Job Manager theme settings is the main role assigned to users upon registration. We don’t support multiple user logins or the ability for admins to log in as individual users for management purposes.

Hi there. I didn mean the Job Manager theme, but Listify. Can we (admins) edit freely all listings belong to users as an admin? Is this easy to do? Or is it always recommended to do these changes from the end user?
Hi there,
In Listify, as an admin, you do have the ability to edit listings belonging to users. However, it’s generally recommended to consult with the listing owner before making any changes, especially if they pertain to important details or content specific to their listing.
Hope this helps clarify things! Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello, By using Product Vendors plugin for the commission – can we set up a % fee on both side (host and guest), ex: 5% on top of host and 3% on top of guest ?
Take care,
Hello,
With the Product Vendors plugin, you can set up a commission structure with different percentages for hosts and guests. For example, you can apply a 5% fee on top of the host and a 3% fee on top of the guest.
To configure this, navigate to your WordPress admin panel:
- Click on “WooCommerce.”
- Go to “Settings” and then “Product Vendors.”
- Under the “Commissions” tab, set the desired percentage fees for hosts and guests.
- Save your changes.
For more detailed instructions, refer to the Product Vendors Documentation.
