Hi Simion, (on chrome) youtube embeded videos started auto-playing on post load since a week or so. No matter how many videos are embeded all of them start playing at once on post load. I have checked on opera, edge, waterfox, firefox, comodo and found the problem only on chrome (latest version). (the embed is the one that you just paste the video url, not a plugin). Any help will be great, thank you, best regards.

No one applied incremental updates, so our site is still running Newspaper version 9. I tried updating to 12 in a staging copy, but it broke everything. Can I still download the older versions so that I can apply gradual updates? I only see the most recent in the downloads area. Thanks!

1. Social login for membership via Google, Facebook, etc. 2. The ability for registered members to submit articles, photos and videos through frontend upload, and for the editor the possibility to manage pending uploads before they appear on the website. 3. In addition, can I build a directory with paying members to display their services more prominently, to monetize a certain group of registered users? 4. What options does the theme have natively for ads, adsense, affiliates, etc.? 5. Is buddypress included or how can I add it to the theme?

Thank you for considering our theme.
1. The only social login feature the theme provides is via Facebook. If you require extra social login capabilities it will require using a plugin.
2. This is possible. The theme provides a membership plugin, with content lockers, payment plans, etc. https://tagdiv.com/build-a-membership-website-with-tagdiv-opt-in-builder-and-newspaper-theme/ Visitors can create an account on the website and subscribe to a plan. Then they will be able to submit content on the website as well. The content that is submitted can be set as draft as well, so the website editor can verify it before publishing.
3. The theme provides plenty of features for frontend content submission, usually used for listings and directories https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-12-update-is-live-explore-the-new-features/ The theme works fine with plugin such as Advanced custom fields, which can be used to create your post type and taxonomies, and also the custom fields needed for the listings.
4. The theme provides ab boxes https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/ In ad boxes you can enter your desired ad codes. You can have as many ad boxes as needed, basically anywhere on the website.
5. Buddypress is compatible with the theme, but its not our plugin. It can be installed through wordpress https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress/

1. Can members set up a profile and can they interact eg. private messages, post sharing, make groups, and other community functions? Can the admin define roles for members eg. editor?
2. Re the Facebook login, can Facebook comments on the correlating Facebook page be pulled into the article page? Can view counts be pulled in?
3. Do you plan to add further social logins eg. Google, Linkedin, Apple, as they are commonly used?
4. Do you have links to speedtests of your theme?

1. That depends. If you are referring to buddypress members, then the buddypress plugin will provide the capabilities for the users, you could check some guides, for example this one https://wpmudev.com/blog/buddypress-guide/
The buddypress plugin and our subscription plugin are different things. So to clarify, our subscription plugin is mostly for content restriction, meaning locking posts for example, and visitors can subscribe to the website in order to see them (premium content). The plugin can also be integrated with content submission. So you for example you provide the option to publish content on the website, based on a subscription. Interested visitors subscribe, and they can submit content on the website.
2. The theme only provides the option for logging in with Facebook. Facebook comments could be added on the website, but please note that there will be limitations https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comments/ Concerning the views, the theme has its own view counter, based on the views the posts get on the actual website, not on Facebook.
3. Its a possibility, but I can’t say for sure. As far as I know at this time there aren’t plans to add more unfortunately.

Optimizing the website can be tricky sometimes, and it can take quite a lot of time. Are you using any image optimization? Compressing and serving the images in webp will matter a lot. I have tried every “Woo Product template” in your Shop Cloud templates directory and none of them work when unchecking the “Visible on the product page” under “Attributes” section of a product. Thank you for your interest in our theme. To clarify, the theme doesn’t require programming knowledge. A directory listing demo will however require working with custom post types, taxonomies, custom fields. Installing the demo will add those in the ACF plugin. The Jobs demo uses 3 custom post types, company, jobs, job application. Registered users can add companies and then jobs for them, through submission pages. Interested visitors can also register and apply for the jobs, which will create a job application. This functionality can be integrated with paid subscription, for example if the user subscribes to a plan, they can add 1 company and 1 job, other plans will allow more and so on.
If you want to create more pages for the website (contact, about, etc.) these can be built with the composer. For some demos we provide extra pages, but not for all of them. You could for example import contact and about pages from other demos https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Pages and customize them to match the demo design. There are a few of them in the cloud library. or you can build your own pages with the composer.
In terms of shortcodes, I’m not sure what exactly you mean. The whole demo is built with shortcodes, from the composer.

And if you want the same animations and effects, sliders, etc. it will require custom work. Also it may require extra plugins. If you are interested in custom work, there is much more to discuss. The website will have to be analyzed in detail, in order to calculate how much time it will take to build, depending on what you want to do on your website. It is hard to tell what it will take to build a website based on an example, without analyzing each element from it in detail. First it is important to understand how that element works, and what it is for. An example of when it is useful is the Jobs demo, mainly the job submit page https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_job_hunt_pro/submit-job/ This element is the link to post element https://prnt.sc/8AAcshk6p8-_ Both the companies and the jobs are custom post types, and the link to post element is what connects the companies to the jobs. The element can be set to display only the posts that the logged in user created https://prnt.sc/K26BR6XATI9t so the user can in this case select their company and connect it to the job. The element will display posts, not categories. It depends on what exactly you want to do with it. RTL IN HEBREW Does the theme have a setting button to align text to the right or center that the posts are written from right to left and the text aligned to the center starts and ends in the same place line under line as in Word, this can fit all languages and does not require support for writing from right to left

The design can be customized with the composer for a RTL website, but there’s no RTL button or switch to convert the whole website at once. The theme can be considered compatible with elementor, meaning that you can use elementor to build pages if needed. But the theme doesn’t provide any features for elementor. Our theme is built around the composer, and we strongly suggest using it in order to benefit from all the theme features.

There’s some problem with the last update. A lot of POST /wp-json/tdw/save_css coming nonstop. I had this problem in the past with another version but solved it checking off css options on theme panel.

That is the best way to deal with such attacks, because the website won’t be affected by it. Cloudflare will block any requests that match the respective URL. Eventually the attack will stop, sometimes it takes a few days and sometimes longer before it stops. Let us know if we can help.

Is light speed cache plugin ok with this since I installed it things don’t seem right it keeps going back to newspaper logo and changes to the headers on the categories on the home page don’t save it says saved but a typo on the one of the headers remains and I install pre made demo but on mobile site is the same can you recommend a good free cache plugin?
