Hi, I’ve imported demo content from bridge492 template but the logo is not displayed as in your live demo [https://bridge492.qodeinteractive.com/] It’s too big and visible only in a little square portion of the header. Hi, I cannot post a support ticket without one of your valid purchase codes and cannot find another way to contact you easily.

I may buy a license of Bridge theme but it depends on your reply to the following:

We have ‘inherited’ a website from another dev who did not maintain it at all.

The site is running Bridge theme version 9.4.1 from June 2016. I want to ask if it is even possible to update the site to the latest theme version if we buy a new license? Or will it break due to changes and compatability issues?

For example, the old theme uses Visual Composer, but that is now WP Bakery. How should we proceed? Is is even possible to update the theme?

Also Envato Toolkit is an outdated plugin. So, now you should use Envato Market and procedure is pretty much the same.

Please, just go to /wp-content/themes/bridge/framework/modules and remove whole folder envatowordpresstoolkit This is deprecated Envato Toolkit plugin that is replaced with Envato Market plugin.

If you are using child theme be aware of the following: In Bridge 18.0 we had to change function names as per Themeforest request in order to meet their new coding standards, and child theme modifications must reflect these changes since 18.0 Bridge release. If you have modified functions via child theme, you’ll have to rename functions in the child theme in order your child theme to work after the update.

So regarding the child theme customizations – in Bridge releases starting from 18.0 we had to change function names, in order to meet Themeforest requests and standards. Therefore, if you have customized theme functions via child theme, those customizations will not work until you change function names – you just have to replace function name prefixes from ‘qode’ to ‘bridge_qode’ in your child theme. For example, the function name ‘qode_is_native_font’ should be changed to ‘bridge_qode_is_native_font’ in the child theme functions.php file, in order modified function to work.

Some variables and actions had to be renamed too. For example, variable name $qode_options_proya has been changed to $bridge_qode_options. The action ‘qode_header_meta’ is now called ‘bridge_qode_action_header_meta’. Our advice is to compare old file with new file version from the latest Bridge, to see what has been changed. If there are only minor modifications in your child theme file, the safest method would be to use new file version from the latest Bridge and make necessary modifications in the code, instead of renaming functions or variables in the old file.

I forgot the url where I used the Bridge theme before. So I cannot deregister in the menu ‘My Product’ in qodeinteractive site.

I tried to submit a ticket in Qode help center but I couldn’t, because the support has expired. Do I need to renew support for this deregistration?

I uploaded my purchase code to my website, had some set up issues so deleted the site and started again. But now I can’t add the purchase code again as it says it’s in use already. But it’s the same site, just deleted and started again.

Web site was made three years ago for the client, it is definitely your theme, it has Bridge dashboard…the guy who made it for them is no longer available. On the dashboard is visible that the theme is registered, but when I want to troubleshoot on your site – ourchase code isn’t accepted…I mean, no problem, maybe he used it more times..we just want for you to check if it is legit, and if not – we want to buy the license so you can help us with the theme

It seems like you’re encountering an issue where you’re seeing the message “Code is already registered for other domain” suddenly, even though everything was fine until yesterday. You’re looking to deregister, but the button that was there until yesterday is not visible anymore. Could you help me out with this as soon as possible?

FYI, dropdowns do not work at all on tablets with menus that have a parent link. Almost all themes have an option to click the parent link to activate the dropdown, then then the option to click that parent link again if you want to visit that page. When clicking the parent link on Bridge it just goes to that page. No option for the dropdown to work.

Any plans to ever fix this? Seems like a pretty big thing to have never fixed.

Thanks fo r writing in! Dropdown does open on hover and on touch devices there is not a hover state and therefor the parent link will not work that way. You could turn on mobile header on touch devices with CSS perhaps however you should know that we have notified our team about this and they will have a closer look on this.

You are wrong about this. Dropdowns do NOT work on tablet if they have a parent item that is linked. I also know that other themes in your network (Stockholm for example) do not have the same issue so it can definitely be fixed.

I recommend you fixing and rolling out an update as opposed to making your customers find their own solutions as you mentioned above.

Why doesn’t “Qode Importer” show up in your videos? Is it the same as the “import” feature in the dashboard?

Also, I always fail to import the demo. I use a Synology server with NGINX, and I followed the instructions you provided, but I always fail to import the demo. I’ve tried resetting, but the result remains the same.

I’ve purchased your theme and I need help. If I can’t continue to import the demo, I’d like a refund. It’s been of no use to me so far.

That sounds like the tutorial video might not be up to date. Understood. And I’ve already read and applied the resources to my Synology server.

And when you say to import the XML file, is that through Tools -> Import? I’ve already tried that. And is the XML file you’re referring to the one from the theme here?

Hi, My business partner and I we consider to buy this theme. But I’d like to make sure we can achieve what we want to do. We want a website where people pay a membership, and then they have access to a listing of places where they can get special discounts (restaurants, gyms, hotels, tours…). - is it compatible with Ultimate Membership Pro (for the restricted access for paying customers)? - is it possible to create something such as a listing of places, that can be filtered with different options, and when you click on one place you have all the details (location, presentation, discounts for member…)? Thanks for taking an interest! For members login, you would have to use a third-party plugin. We haven’t tested such plugins with Bridge so we cannot give you an exact recommendation. Some of those plugins are listed here https://qodeinteractive.com/magazine/best-user-management-plugins-for-wordpress/ but they have not been tested with the Bridge theme so we cannot guarantee full compatibility.

Note that our Qode Membership plugin is implemented to extend the Qode LMS or Qode Listing plugin functionality – it’s not intended to be used separately and there are no specific settings for this plugin that would allow you to moderate the content for specific users.

I have installed WordPress on Synology and made the following settings in Web Station:

max_execution_time=300 memory_limit=128M upload_max_filesize=128M post_max_size=256M max_input_vars=3000

However, even though I set upload_max_filesize=128M, it’s not changing to 128MB. Where should I make the settings to change it to 128M?
