Just Purchased the theme at first look the demos looked superb and whole theme too, but after installing I can see its not responsive at all most of the demos are made only for PC they are not responsive at all and also the customization is so hard, there is no way to create a header of my style really not liking this theme

Hi, when on the hosting I switch the PHP to version 8.4, 8.1 or 8.0, I receive the following warning.

Theme version 30.3 (last version)

If I turn back to PHP version 7.4 the warning disappear. Isn’t compatible with PHP 8.x?

I have corrected the two line adding “(int)” before each variable.

Architecture & Construction demo file import stops at 98%. I’ve done everything as explained, but it still doesn’t work.

Importing bridge511-export.xml with the WordPress import tool doesn’t work either. This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

Where do I get my license key? It stopped working and it states layerslider is included but i am unable to update the plugin without a key?

Thanks for writing in! Please note that LayerSlider does come bundled within the theme and you do not need to activate any license for it as bundled plugins do get updated when the theme is.

Buyer Beware!!! Upgrading your theme will most likely break your site. Bridge Core updates almost never maintain a site’s stability and the theme will fail if you try to update it. The documentation on this issue is severely lacking and they won’t help you unless you are paying the support fee, even if you have already purchased the license.

Do yourself a favor and get a theme that doesn’t break your site whenever you need to update the theme. This ain’t it.

We are sorry to hear this but we do have a detailed video instruction on how to update the Bridge theme and its plugins, and within it is explained that you should update the Bridge Core and other bundled plugins manually, so please have a look at this tutorial that can help you.

The support license is valid for 6 months from the day you purchase the license and if you still need something checked and believe there is something within the theme you can always send us a mail to our help center providing your purchase code in it and our team will check this on your end.

Of course if the theme and its plugins are updated correctly, and after you updated the theme you should just in case navigate to Qode Options > General and hit save, everything should be correctly.

Using Bridge 30.2 with a child theme. When I try to add a Qode Social Block to a footer widget, it does not offer Font Awesome 5 as a option, and therefore I cannot select X Twitter as an icon. If I do it through WP Bakery in a page, I can select Font Awesome 5, but it doesn’t offer any icons to select. When I try to do it all manually, the icon is empty.

Thanks for writing in! Within the latest version of the theme if you want to add the Twitter X icon to one of the widget areas, for example, the footer widget area (under Appearance -> Widgets), you can create a test page, and add the Icon element via WPBakery:

Then, switch to Classic Mode, and copy the icon shortcode from the Text field:

I can’t view the imgur links you added. permissions? Also, I tried this method. When I set the icon pack to Font Awesome 5+, the dropdown is empty, so I can’t select the fa-x-twitter icon (https://imgur.com/a/P7GQQVC). If I try to set the icon value manually in the shortcode, it only generates an emtpy circle or square with no icon (https://imgur.com/a/2C3LU0M)

Good day, I have the latest version of Bridge template running and I’m very happy with the template. There is only one annoying message, that the core version of the shopping cart is out of date. ‘Your theme (Bridge Child) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files.” I was wondering if you’re willing to change it in a newer version of your nice template. I amd trying to update Bridge theme from a client.

After that (doing from the Envato plugin and api) the homepage does not load. It remains loading the homepage with the fading circle icon.

Looks like the other pages works and load correctly, not the home.

I am doing this from a cloned site to avoid this kind of issues and test the correct working before apply it in the main web.

I am trying to update the theme from an old version 21.9

In addition, I am using 7.4 PHP version. I tried to use 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2, but I got the same error with the web displaying the charging icon without no change.

What could be the problem?

We assume you missed to update Bridge Core plugin and the rest plugins that comes with the theme.

So please check if you have updated the latest version of both the theme and its plugins. If you need instructions on how to update the theme and included plugins, you can refer to the following article: How To Update A WordPress Theme And Plugins.

Also once you have updated the theme and its plugins you can navigate to QOde Options > General and save your settings, so everything get generated well.
