Hi frbuttpk, sorry for late answer, we have a few days off for Labor day and Easter – https://i.imgur.com/FL33GkX.png The Newspaper RC 12.6.6 is a package update for tests, this should no be tested on the main website and only on staging to test what is new in the theme. We create this RC version only for tests, there are users that want to test it and report back if there find any bugs. So, this is not a theme update that you should make on the main website and you’ll need to wait for the official theme update that will be without “RC” that it will be this month.

Hello, what is known about NewsPaper version 13? Will it be released this year?
We have some wishes and I think I share these wishes with the community that uses this theme.
1. First of all, we are interested in the user experience and we hope that the next version will be one that makes the site super fast and secure, being one of the fastest themes on the market.
2. Plugin Standard Pack updated to offer theme users the opportunity to make very beautiful websites, without them having to manually edit absolutely everything, I mean layouts and settings (round images, underline on cover title, etc. ) new and modern for header, single post, category, page, and so on that can be configured with a click but be modern. These should also be included in a Standard pack that does not complicate the site and deprecated, as you call the current one.
The premise with which you launched the theme many years ago was that we can make the site very modern in a very short time, now this no longer applies in 2024, we know that you offer the possibility of making a very modern theme , but not quickly but with a lot of expenses on the part of design services and with a lot of compatibility problems with different updates.
We support the initiative of Tag Div with Newspaper and we believe that it is a theme of the future, but it must be updated and done in such a way that we, those who do not have time to edit a lot, can make a very fast and very modern website from a single panel, without complications with templates for each part of the site.

There will be soon release Newspaper v12.6.6 and until at the end of the year it is possible to release Newspaper 13.
1. The coming update is coming with security improvements and small speed improvements (those deepens on a lot of factors and what you are using on your website, but our developers we’ll continue to improve it to make it e better and better).
2. The tagDiv Standard Pack is used to provide the old layout templates, those can not be edited by users only if the know code to manually change the theme files in child theme, also this plugin do not have an optimized code since it is used only for old demos. So, there will be no new demos with standard templates, only with cloud templates. The cloud templates are providing better speed and are complete customized using the theme builder. Also, most of the templates, sections, headers and footers can be get from the cloud library and after that just edit it using the tagDiv Composer (if there is needed).

Please make sure that you are using the last theme version, Newspaper v12.6.5, after that what you should try is to disable all tagDiv plugins you are using and reactivate them. If this is not working, please make a full backup, contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Those URLs are created because there is a link which has the address set to an email here https://prnt.sc/dVyvkEWG0BkE I think that is a form built with the contact form 7 plugin. I suggest checking that text and either remove the link or set it correctly like this for example https://prnt.sc/QjE5nL9xmbS9 This way it will open a prompt to send an email, not provide a 404 like it currently does when you click it. Hi there, I haven sent several time requests to contact@tagdiv.com to assist me on issue I m getting with the theme but no result, on reply by mail and no real action. Please tell your technical assistants that I m still looking for their action that is taking so much time around 3 months. Kindly assist: 1- I have issue on the top left menu but have option to solve it. 2. I have your images ads on the theme and while in editing mode those ads are not showing so I can replace theme. 3- Wanted to edit footer right side but no option to do so.

How to make the number of article clicks in the in-theme editing plug-in equal to the number of page views on Google?

Are you referring to the theme post views? If so, these have no relation to other view counters such as google analytics. It can’t be synchronized with other analytics. The theme view counter is simple, and should not be used as actual website statistics. Its used mostly for the sorting methods by popularity on blocks, when the theme has to sort the posts by view count. You could set the views from the theme manually, they can be found in the post edit screen as a custom field https://prnt.sc/qtScLeSTTB5M But this has to be done manually per post. We have updated the latest version, but we have noticed that TD COMPOSER consumes excessive CPU resources up to 100% usage, despite everything being updated this causes the site to crash

Thank you for your interest in our theme. The theme does not delete the content of a website when it is installed. That would be quite a major issue. The theme will provide the ways to display your content on the website. Hi team, I’ve recently started a shop on my website, when configuring woocommerce, I got this error:
Your theme (Newspaper) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Suggestions to fix this:
Update your theme to the latest version. If no update is available contact your theme author asking about compatibility with the current WooCommerce version. If you copied over a template file to change something, then you will need to copy the new version of the template and apply your changes again.

It looks like those have to be modified. The theme has a couple of template files from woocommerce, which it overrides. The files are for the single product page and the product archive page. These are the default templates, not actually needed when using our shop plugin and cloud templates. I will notify our developer team and they will change the version number. In the meantime there shouldn’t be any issues, even if you use the default templates for woocommerce. Thank you for letting us know.

That is possible, you can use anything you want from the theme. You could start with a directory demo for example, and add the subscription part, or the other way around. That is possible, usually listings are connected with subscriptions. So for example the visitor has to subscribe first before being able to submit a listing, or have access to content available for subscribers. Hi, I’m planning to use theme Town Talk and hosting of Wordpress CMS on AWS Lightsail/EC2 (either Windows or Linux instance).
