We’re looking at updating the theme on some sites from The7 v9.17 to the latest v11.12. Are there any specific instructions regarding updating between versions like that? (I saw there were some for updating from v2 and v3/4) Or will we be able to just Update the theme by just pressing the update button?

No, it is gettign ridiculous. Listen, there is no that spaarate option to get the purchase code saperately. It mens when press download it downaloads eevrytign at one time, So, in that folder that we have downloaded the purcase cod eis missing. This is looks like a fraud.

This is not “our system”. These are the Envato license terms, which you have acknowledged and accepted on the purchase.

In the developing time, we used the http://dev.abc.com; When I tried to enter the purchase code. It will store my site address: http://dev.abc.com; Is it okay if we use a single license when developing we use /dev.abc.com but for the production environment we use abc.com? Thanks!

Hello! You need to register at https://support.dream-theme.com/#your_username from scratch – it doesn’t have automatic authentication through your Envato login. You need to create a new account. Thanks!

I realise that but as soon as I enter my details to create my new account it says the email address already exists and I need to login…BUT I cannot login with my email address and new password as it gives me a message that the username does not exist…THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING

Hi, I purchased The7 . But now I can not edit the header with Elementor. Under Templates/Theme builder all the elements (Header, Footer…) are locked. In MyThe7 Settings it writes: Auto update disabled because DISABLE_WP_CRON constant is set to true. DB auto update (checkbox not clickable). Please help me!

Hello! There are no special requirements, you can follow WordPress recommendations https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ In general, 128M memory limit would be enough. But depending on the number of plugins you are going to use, 256M or higher might be required.

I purchased this because I didn’t like newspaper theme and can’t wait too long for support because I need this done within 8 hours but this is something I never encountered. The demo wouldn’t import properly. Then I wouldn’t be able to access my old pages (privacy policy etc). It just shows blank. I do not like hurting anyone’s means of putting food in the table by giving low star ratings but you should figure out what the issue is and if it is widespread problem. Since I can’t wait, I will be purchasing another theme. All imported dummy pages including homepage were BLANK. Take care.

Can I disable and remove the “The7 Demo Content” plugin? I just get a new customer using this theme. This plugin is active but I think it is not necessary anymore. The site design is already finished.

Hello Walter! Yes, you are right – it’s renamed now. All plugins updates are available under The7 -> Plugins. They don’t come inside of a theme package.

I received an email notification back on April 12th that says the following:

All bundled plugins have been updated to the latest versions. Please update your software as soon as possible, as vulnerabilities have been discovered in previous versions of WPBakery Page Builder and Slider Revolution.

By chance does your theme happen to send notifications similar to this under such conditions? I’ve ruled out it coming from anywhere else.

I’d like to clarify that the message was sent by your WordPress instance using the same mechanism that sends WordPress core update notifications (if you have this feature enabled). If you prefer not to receive these emails in the future, you can disable the “Allow to send critical alerts by email” setting in your WP-admin > The7 > My The7. HOWEVER, we strongly recommend keeping it enabled, as we only initiate these alerts in exceptional cases.

Hello, I dont see where to change the team position from. When I go to edit team template from elementor. I see its calling it from somewhere but when I go to team members in dashboard and edit or add a new team member there is no where to put there position from. Please help
