Hello, how can i change layout for products, mine look so awkward

You can Customize/Create your own layout for your products on the site, from Porto >> Template Builder >> Post Type: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/type-builder-elements/

And then you can use that layout as to show your products on your site from Porto >> Template Builder >> Product Archives and choose the above created layout in “Type Builder Archive” element on your shop page by creating the Custom Shop page layout from Porto >> Template Builder >> Product Archives: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/faq/how-to-create-custom-product-archive-page-using-porto-template-builder-and-with-wp-bakery-page-builder/

I bought this theme, however when i have imported shop 9, it looks different on the homepage. The left menu is showing blue hover color and some colors dont even change on the site. When i go to Cutomize theme options, the preview seems to be normal. Why?

Can you please look into this support request id #41804

Also, noticed maybe some pages are built using WP Bakery Page builder and that’s why we are not able to edit them using Elementor? E.g. For the FAQ page, I was not able to see the option to “Edit with Elementor” but after I activated the WP Bakery Page Builder and opened page to edit with it, I was able to see the content.

Let me know how we can edit same page using Elementor.

Appreciate quick response as I am working on a project and need to finish it asap.

I created another page by duplicating About page for FAQ and edited the page using Elementor. Used “Porto FAQ” in it and saved/closed. Now, when I tried to open the page again using Elementor, I can’t do it and getting same error as mentioned in previous comment (Sorry the content area is not found in your page).

Here are some common causes and potential solutions:

Mixed Content Issues:

Check the source of the missing content and ensure all URLs use HTTPS.

Browser Cache:

Clear your browser cache and try loading the site again.

SSL Certificate Issues:

Verify your SSL certificate is properly installed and there are no errors in the certificate chain. Tools like SSL Labs’ SSL Test can help diagnose certificate issues.

After the theme and plugin updates, please navigate to Porto >> Tools, and Clear all the “Transients” from there, and compile the CSS.

Navigate to Loco Translate > Themes > Porto.
Edit the language file you are using on your site.

I was told “Please should purchase and activate Porto Theme or refresh studio blocks in Porto Tools page.” What does this mean? and how can i fix it.

Please navigate to Porto >> Theme License and unregister the theme from there and then re-register the theme with the same purchase code.

After that please navigate to Porto >> Tools and Clear all the “Transients” from there and compile the CSS.

Finally check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.

Hi. States the theme runs with WP Bakery but this doesnt seem to be listed in the Plug Ins area anymore and when I try to edit with the frontend editor it states “This page can not be edited with WPBakery since it is missing a WordPress default content area.” Any ideas?

Shouldn’t this be updateable via your default plugins area? Porto > Set Up Wizard > Plugins. Your other plugins are listed here and if installed, state that an update is available for them, but WP Bakery is not listed here any more? I’m running WP Bakery 7.6

It should be under Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Plugins.
It should be under WP-Dashboard >> Appearance >> Install Plugins.

And the very latest version of the WP Bakery plugin is 7.6 so that is the reason it is not showing there, when the update is available it will automatically show at both places, do not worry about it.

Hello Team, From version 7.1.0, There is a bug in the theme, Whenever I try to edit a post, I get different error messages: WordPress Failed to load the plugin: color picker from URL wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/colorpicker/plugin.min.js

I can’t edit with WPBAKERY or JS Composer in the backend or the front; everything in the post, page, or product editor is scrambled.

I emptied the cash and tried to deactivate and activate only the plugins I needed, but there was still nothing good; the editor of posts, pages, and products still scrambled.

When is this bug going to be fixed?

Thanks, I found the problem. It was in the Yoast Premium and Yoast for WooCommerce. Once removed and reinstalled, the site is back to normal.

Hi, we use the standard Recent Posts and Recent Portfolio posts that shows 3-4 posts in a carousel format. But all the spacing between the posts is now 0 and the images are stuck to each other. How can we adjust the spacing?

The theme version 7.0.8 is outdated. First, ensure you take a complete backup of your site. Let me explain to you. By default, every demo of our theme is designed as the same content appears on mobile/desktop except for several sections.

However, as you asked to differentiate the content for mobile and desktop you can simply achieve it using the Porto Conditional Rendering feature.

Simply edit the pages of the site you want and set the content for both mobile and desktop after that you can simply set the condition on the content you want to show on desktop/mobile. Hello, I wanted to tell you that with the new update in the color filter widget for products, the name of the color now appears.

It looks good, but this new layout is not very efficient for my site (I have almost 50 colors), is there a way to remove the color name or return it to how it was before?

Hi! Is there a way to have certain sidebar widgets to be closed with the plus symbol rather then having them set by default to be all open just so the user can pick and choose which widget to filter down results. I’ve uploaded screenshots to make it easier to explain.

Hello, I don’t like that with the latest update you made the first tab content (product description) inactive on mobile. You said in another comment that it improves the UX. I believe this is not the case and will lead to many people no longer reading it. Would be great if you could add this as an option with the possibility to deactivate.
