I suggest not doing that if possible. There could be problems with the page if it is edited with both elementor and the composer, the page may become unusable for both builders. Please use one or the other.
I believe you are referring to the Jobs demo. If there are no socials set in the theme panel social networks panel https://prnt.sc/PlUtCSNbMxmi then no socials will be loaded in the mobile menu, neither will their code. Please check by removing the social links for the socials entered in the theme panel.

Or if you like a different demo, you could install that one and add the subscription part to it. Setting up the subscription plugin isn’t too difficult. I purchased this theme 7 years ago, then had to buy another license last year because using the newspaper theme on more than one backup/staging site for when updates mess up my site is not allowed. And yes, every other update totally screws up my site. The newest update to 12.6.6 is an example. This was a good theme, but now it isn’t. I don’t recommend this theme at all. If you do buy it, don’t install any updates, ever.

We added the SEO title option for most elements that can display a title. In this update we added it for the categories/tags list element https://prnt.sc/jrEYZOHFDwiy Having this option for most of the theme elements makes it easier to control the heading structure in the page, which is good for SEO. The title heading of a theme element can’t be changed with a plugin, because it is defined in the code of the element.

It looks like Line was added as a sharing option, but not as a social icon. You could add it as an extra icon to the social icons element https://prnt.sc/pS1c5JAvNSy2 You can set an icon and a link. I will however make a note of this and we will try to add it by default in the theme.

We are planning to open a site in four languages: Japanese, Chinese, English, and Korean. What do you recommend between configuring it as a WordPress multi-site or using a plugin supported by Newspaper to provide multilingual services?

Thank you for considering our theme. Either of the choices you thought of are good. Concerning a multisite, there isn’t much to discuss, a website for each language. If you decide to choose a single multilingual website, then we recommend the WPML plugin if possible. We maintain full compatibility with this plugin. While other plugins may work as well to some degree, when it comes to using the theme templates per language we made adjustments in the theme for the WPML plugin.

Hi, this update broke my website. Thank goodness I backed it up beforehand. I just restored the previous version and its back working now. I never had any issues updating this theme until now though. Just thought I’d share my results. Not sure if I am going to try again. Maybe I will wait for the next one.

Hi,
That is a very old theme version. Updating from it to the latest theme version can be unpredictable. The website may use an old PHP version, maybe a child theme or theme modifications, or required plugins that may not work anymore with the theme after updating, etc. If possible I suggest testing it first on a staging/testing copy of the website. You can create a testing environment with a staging plugin or by other means, and test it there first. This would be the most recommended way in such cases. The new update should have appeared by now. If it still does not, you could update the theme manually. You can always download the latest theme version from your themeforest account, and then install it on the website.
