WordPress Porto plugin <= 7.1.0 – Unauthenticated Local File Inclusion via porto_ajax_posts vulnerability Unauthenticated Local File Inclusion via porto_ajax_posts vulnerability discovered by István Márton in WordPress Theme Porto (versions <= 7.1.0)
Porto Theme – Functionality <= 3.0.9 – Authenticated (Contributor+) Local File Inclusion via Post Meta The Porto Theme – Functionality plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.9 via the ‘slideshow_type’ post meta. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level and above permissions, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where php file type can be uploaded and included.

Hi! I’ve changed a setting and for somehow within the Product Archive page, the filtering, sorting, list/grid view bar at the top has gone next to the products.
I’ve created a shortlink to take you to the website to view it so you have a better understanding: https://shorturl.at/z1Ups
Could you provide a suggestion where I can revert it so that it goes to the top.
Thanks

It appears that you are using the archive builder to create the layout for your custom shop page.
Please go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Product Archives, edit the Custom Shop page layout using the page builder that you use on your website, and then adjust the layout and settings to suit your needs.

CASE, PRACTICES, ITSERVICE POSTS DO NOT ACCEPT ANY TYPE OF CONTENT UPDATE. I TRIED TO MODIFY THE TEXT THAT COMES IN THE DEMO BUT ALTHOUGH THE MODIFICATION APPEARS INTERNALLY IN WORDPRESS (IN THE ADMIN PANEL) THEY DO NOT APPEAR PUBLICLY. NEITHER WHEN I AM LOGGED IN OR WHEN I EXIT LOGIN. I HAVE ALREADY CLEARED THE CACHES IN THE BROWSER, WORDPRESS, THE DATABASE, THE CDN AND NOTHING. I TRIED TO ACCESS FROM COMPUTERS IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS AND THE ERROR PERSISTS. WHEN CREATING A NEW POST OF THE SAME TYPE I CAN SEE THE POST WITH THE TEXT I INSERT, BUT THE CONFIGURATION IS ALSO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT, IT DOES NOT ACCEPT THE SECTION CONFIGURATIONS FOR QUESTIONS.
Hello, @sambali,
1. For services Post Type, please follow these instructions: https://themeforest.net/comments/30714607
2. For Case Post Type: Please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Post Type and edit the Case Type, you will find the “content” element and when you edit it you will find content displayed as “Excerpt”: https://pasteboard.co/njZpsE65KF2C.png
So now you have to navigate to WP-Dashboard >> Cases and edit the case from there after that change the content in the Excerpt as per your requirements, please refer to these screenshots: https://pasteboard.co/zKTgwRfMEy5n.png & https://pasteboard.co/EtdD0qK82Z9i.png & https://pasteboard.co/OimHv3WpB3Wj.png

you didn’t understand. It is not the content of except that is not being updated. The content of the post (images, questions) or any other information added to the content of the post is not published. As I said, although it changes the content, it continues to publicly display the text and images from the demo (Lorem Ipsum, etc.). see: https://jg.seresdobem.com.br/practice/direito-de-saude/
I have already modified the text and images in the demo, but it is not publicly displayed. I need a solution for this.

I’m trying to update the practices type posts. However, when I modify the text and update the page, it continues to display the site’s template text. I’ve already cleared the cache, accessed it from another desktop and nothing. Another thing is that the question configuration disappears after I update, even though I edit everything without deleting the codes. I would like to know how to resolve this.

I cannot provide the administration passwords for my website. As I said in the post type practices, it service, cases do not publish content updates. although it updates the content within the admin panel. When clicking publish, it continues to display the text and images from the demo (Lorem Ipsum) I need to fix this bug. Updates to native Wordpress posts are normally published without any problems, which shows that the problem lies in type practices, cases and itservices posts that are not native to Wordpress.
Hello, @sambali,
Please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Post Type and edit the Service Type, you will find text source set as “Dynamic Content” and page of post info as “Excerpt” as shown in this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/17ChTxohRQN2.png
It means that is picking the content from the Excerpt of the post service, so you have to navigate to WP-Dashboard >> It Services and edit the particular Post from there, then change the Excerpt from there as per your requirements: https://pasteboard.co/d00xYhV1Sgoj.png & https://pasteboard.co/E85IJTw5ALXq.png & https://pasteboard.co/JZ3JEATgjISH.png

Hello! Does the theme have a function to display the “last update date” on a single blog post? I managed to set up this function for the archive view, but not for single posts.
Thank you
Hello, @igorjup,
To create your own layout for the single post page, navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Single. There, you can use the “Meta” element and select the option to display the date, which will show the last modified date for the post. Finally, you can apply this layout to your single post pages by setting the appropriate condition: https://pasteboard.co/cjyv3Ah36xSu.png
For more details, please refer to the documentation below:
https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/single-builder-elements/

Hi! I am already using that. But in the meta element, there are only options for Date, Author, Category, Tags, Comments, and Like. There is no option for “last modified date”. I have currently solved this with a snippet, but it would be easier for most users if this was built into the theme. Thank you.
Hello, @igorjup,
The Date option automatically shows the last modified date of the post. No need to use any snippets, Could you please try it.
Regards, P-THEMES.

Hi! No, it’s not like that. In the single post template, the “date” in the meta element (in Elementor builder) shows the date of the post creation. Elementor Pro does have an option for “last modified date”, but i dont have pro version. In the “post type” template, within the Porto builder (there is no option for editing in Elementor), I can select the Porto element “meta,” where I can choose to display either the published date or the modification date.

Hi there,
I’m having an issue on my website; the variable products are not showing the ‘add to quote’ button. I initially thought it was a plugin problem, and after seeking support from them and making changes, it still doesn’t work.
They advised me to activate another theme and see if it worked, and indeed, the button appears when I change the theme. Can you please help me?

You’re Most Welcome!!
It seems like I am half way there. Now, elementor seems to try to load when trying to edit, but it never goes to the screen, just a constant loading indicator.
I am trying to edit the footer and the “EDIT TEXT EDITOR” in greyed out with a constantly spinning spinner
Hello, @whardson,
Here are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve this issue:
Check Plugin Conflicts:
Deactivate all plugins except Elementor and Elementor Pro.
Check if the issue persists. If not, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the conflicting plugin.
Increase PHP Memory Limit:
You can increase it from your Cpanel.
Clear Cache:
Clear your browser cache.
If you have any caching plugins installed, clear their cache as well.
If you’re using a CDN (Content Delivery Network), purge the cache there too.
Switch Theme:
Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Four to check if the issue is related to your current theme.
Alternatively, we have to check the situation on your site, Could you please kindly contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we can have a look into it for you on your site and help you out.

the short code which not working is same like this : [porto_recent_products title=”test” view=”grid” per_page=”4″ orderby=”date” order=”DESC”] i found that some short code is working , like block shortcode , container and content box , but the dynamic shortcode related to posts or products and other posts not working directly from porto shortcode button
Hello, @mosamm1426,
The mentioned elements are deprecated in FSE mode. Instead, you should use the Porto Posts Grid element.

Thanks for reply , i am talking specificaly about entering product data in product classic editor , which has only porto insert shortcode option to customize the product page with the theme items, i don’t want user to use elementor builder to do that , because it is advanced for the editor , just the classic editor , do you mean that the porto shortcode is deprecated?
in other words , if i want to put a related products by its id for example or any other porto widget in the product classic editor how to do it if the porto shortcodes is deprecated?

Hi good day – can you direct me to the elements used in this sidebar? I cant get my side bar to look like this. For example, when The product category is active the side men doesn’t show the active category it is in. Example – Men – Shirts. On the shop sidebar menu Shirts should be selected. I can’t find a slider for price as well.
https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop2-soft/product-category/electronics/Hello, @kieljoseph84,
The widget we used for the categories is the default from WordPress Widget and does not have the option to activate the specific category when on that category’s page. To achieve this, you might want to try a third-party plugin that better suits your needs.
We used the following widgets in the sidebar: https://ibb.co/tshR2Nq

Is it safe to upgrade from 6.9.3 to 7.1.4 ?
what should I do with this message: Important: Please deactivate Porto Shortcodes, Porto Content Types and Porto Widgets plugins from old Porto 3.x version.
how do I find them ? if I used them – is there a replacement ?
Hello, @kdani,
You have missed several theme updates between versions 6.9.3 and 7.1.4. You can review the theme changelog here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/changelog/
We recommend cloning your site and applying the update to the clone first. This allows you to resolve any issues before updating your live site.
Regarding the message: “Important: Please deactivate Porto Shortcodes, Porto Content Types, and Porto Widgets plugins from the old Porto 3.x version.”
These plugins were core components of the theme around four years ago. They have now been consolidated into a single core plugin called “Porto Functionality.” With the latest updates, you should install and activate the Porto Functionality plugin and disable or delete the old plugins from your site.
Additionally, we suggest updating the theme manually. Please refer to our theme documentation here: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/update-theme/
