Unpacking the package…

Plugin not activated. A higher version of Porto Functionality is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.

Hello, @guyzamir,

Please go to Porto >> Theme License and unregister the theme. Then, re-register it using the same purchase code. After that, update the theme from Appearance >> Themes, followed by updating the plugins from Appearance >> Install Plugins. This should resolve the issue. If not, please contact us through our support system with your site’s WP Admin Login details, and we will assist you further.

Hi, I have just restored my site after a few years. Is there a way to learn that which demo I have installed ? And if I import another demo, is there a way to turn back the previous one without any loss ? Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I ll follow your advice.

I have imported the demo but there is two thing I wanna ask.

Please check out the screenshot which contains explainations => https://ibb.co/09dkfj4

Thanks

Also I have a conflict issue with WpDataTables plugin. Everything works fine at backend but frontend. Tables’ “Add” and “Edit” buttons (which are insert and edit values to db) popups are not working. (I guess ajax). Issue solves when I use one of the default wp themes.

Hello, how do I add “Sign Up” and “Log In” links in the Top Menu that only guests will see? Currently there is only a “Log out” link.

Hello, @imdelibas,

First, to edit the menu, go to the WP Dashboard and navigate to Appearance >> Menus. Select the top Navigation menu. From there, edit the “Login” item and rename it to Login/Register/Sign In/Sign Up, or customize it according to your needs. If these options do not exist, you can create them by adding new menu items. Refer to this image for guidance: https://ibb.co/7VGgWmG

Next, edit the header using Elementor. Navigate to the menu element in the top menu section: https://ibb.co/DLxFzZD

Here, you can adjust the menu items to suit your requirements.

Then, ensure you have enabled settings to allow customers to create accounts. To do this, go to WP Dashboard >> WooCommerce >> Settings >> Accounts, and enable the option “Allow customers to create an account on the account page.” Save your settings.

After completing these steps, the “Sign Up” and “Log In” links will appear in the top menu for guests. Once a user registers, the menu will display a “Logout” option until they log out.

Hi, WooCommerce Show Product Attribute On Archive
It doesn’t show product attributes on page archive even though I have it enabled.
How do I display the product colors on the product archive page?
https://webviz.eu/atribut.jpg
Regards

Hello, @WebViz1,

The post type can only be edited with the Gutenberg page builder. This is the default functionality.

Whether you use WP Bakery or Elementor page builder for your site, you should have to follow the same procedure.

Hi.
I’m sorry, I didn’t recognize it. I just don’t use Gutenberg, I don’t like it :)
It deactivated the Classic Editor and I did it.
It’s good.
I just couldn’t center the color attributes.
If it was possible to center the color attributes and reduce the size so that it does not do this in the basic version of the plugin, it would be good.

Hi,

Getting this warning for a few days: Warning: Undefined array key 1 in /home/site/public_html/site/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/shortcodes/vc-custom-heading.php on line 138

Warning: Undefined array key 1 in /home/site/public_html/site/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/classes/shortcodes/vc-custom-heading.php on line 139

Solution please!

Hello, @iamuser_2007,

This warning pertains to the WP Bakery Page Builder.

1. Ensure that you are using the latest versions of your Theme and Plugins.

2. Confirm that you are not using two-page builder plugins simultaneously. If you are, disable one of them.

3. Try updating your PHP version to 8.2.

If the issue persists, please contact us through our support system with your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials, so we can investigate and assist you further.

Hey, after importing the section “Sign up contact” from Studio, there are some default placeholders, but I I can’t control it at all. In the settings of this section, I can set “Contact form 7”, but below, where – I believe- I should be able to select specific contact form to fetch fields from, it shows me “The results could not be loaded”. Is this a known issue?

Hello, @hellommatuszak,

The form you imported contains a dummy contact form that needs to be replaced with your own. Please refer to these screenshots for guidance:: https://pasteboard.co/o9ziES3Od4Ev.png it should work for you: https://pasteboard.co/3s2clh8XjFEO.png

As shown in the screenshots, the form fetches correctly on my test site, indicating the issue is specific to your site. Ensure you are using the latest versions of the theme and plugins and check for conflicts with third-party plugins. If the issue persists, please contact us through our support system with your site’s WP Admin login details so we can assist you directly.

I seem to be having an issue with the Porto Post Grid. I am using this as a member slider. I have a specific category selected and everything displays as expected.

One thing though – no matter what ORDER I select, the order of the members never changes. Please advise.

During one of the recent updates to Porto – the front end of the site now seems to show a dashed box section at the top with the wording “Build with Header Builder”. How can I hide this? It seems to be on top of the menu, but when you click it, the menu link works instead of this link – but I am not trying to fix the link issue… I simply want to hide this box as it is making everything looked pushed down.

I have taken a look at the code and can see this is what the section looks like (and appears just below the header tags):

<div class="porto-tooltip-wrap empty-tooltip header-tooltip"> <div class="tooltip-inner"> <a href="https://*****.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=porto_builder&porto_builder_type=header" target="_blank"> <i class="fas fa-plus-circle me-1" />Build with Header Builder </a> </div> </div>

I know this can be hidden with CSS – but I was thinking there must be a better way.

Hello, @SQLGuru,

You should turn it OFF from Porto >> Theme Options >> General and turn OFF the option: “Hide “Build with Template Builder” button”, please refer to this screenshot: https://postimg.cc/k6WrQjNK

If I am using Porto with Elementor is it best to add universal styles in Porto or on Elementor settings.

Hello, @HaiWebmaster,

When using Porto with Elementor, you can choose where to set your universal styles and fonts depending on your workflow preferences and the extent of customization you need. Here are some considerations to help you decide:

Universal Styles: Centralized control
Elementor Settings: Detailed control

Disabling Default Colors and Fonts in Elementor:

The message “In order for Theme Style to affect all relevant Elementor elements, please disable Default Colors and Fonts from the Settings Page” suggests that to maintain consistency, you should:

Disable Default Colors and Fonts in Elementor:

Navigate to Elementor settings.
Disable "Default Colors" and "Default Fonts."

What if I want to disable the Theme font and Theme colour settings in Porto Theme Options and only use Elementor Global Fonts and Global colours etc.

Hello, @HaiWebmaster,

A potential solution is to individually set the color for each element using their specific settings, which will override the theme colors. However, you cannot completely remove the theme color styling globally without customization.

Hi Porto,

What has happened to the template builder. Is there a way to use the old header options? Do you have a better or more up to date tutorial for the new template builder. The docs refer to the old version which has the 9 boxes for placement. Now I do not understand how this new builder works,

Thanks Robert.

Hi Porto,

Local production. Using demo shop 29. Template builder will not allow the creation of new footers. When adding a new footer to footer builder, when saved the new footer is not in the footer list but in the main template list.

The new footer will not allow you to set display conditions. A flashing exclamation point is placed on the far right of the “Build Condition” title under WPBakery Page Builder header. Any ideas? .

Sorry Made a mistake. I am working with new shop theme #48. Not #29. Template builder does not work. cant edit display conditions.

Hello, @badd,

We have tested the demo on our test site, and it works perfectly. To investigate the issue on your site, we kindly ask you to clone your site as a test site.
