Hi Porto, Following message is appearing in health wordpress I don’t know If can have any relation with the Theme. But can you suggest something please?
- Autoloaded options could affect performance Autoloaded options are configuration settings for plugins and themes that are automatically loaded with every page load in WordPress. Having too many autoloaded options can slow down your site. Your site has 1244 autoloaded options (size: 1 MB) in the options table, which could cause your site to be slow. You can review the options being autoloaded in your database and remove any options that are no longer needed by your site.

Hello, @Joaquim_,
That issue isn’t related to our theme. However, you can review your site’s plugins for potential causes. Our theme includes a Speed Optimization Wizard, which you can use to enhance your site’s performance. For detailed instructions, please refer to our theme documentation here:: https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/?s=speed

Is it possible to have different group of filters on each category page? Only in widgets there is a global sidebar category woo.
Hello, @manoniko,
Unfortunately, this is not possible with the FSE mode for now, we kindly request you to please request it as a feature request on our forum here: https://www.portotheme.com/forums/topic/feature-request/ so that our development team will check it and note it down for the future upcoming updates of the theme.
Thanks for your understanding.

Hi, I was wondering how I could change the add to cart button to a call us, or share button on the “Products” Element?
Hello, @Ceeeeg,
Unfortunately, the Add to Cart button’s functionality cannot be changed to a Call Us button, as this is the default setting of the theme and WooCommerce. There isn’t an option to modify it directly.
To achieve the desired result, we recommend using a third-party plugin or custom code that aligns with your requirements.

7.1.4 Porto Version
Hello, @Joaquim_,
That option has been included in the theme in the version 7.1.5: https://pasteboard.co/pDD2aH8vbyvp.png so you have to update the theme and plugins to the very latest version.

Did you remove menu font options from the Porto Theme Options Dashboard? I see no more options to update the menu font family or font-size. Was it moved to another area? That being said I’ve noticed many options being removed and or hidden, even without Full Site Editing activated. Can you please stop removing options? ITs really the only reason that I suggest people to buy the theme. When you remove the options for someone like me it becomes kinda useless.
Hello, @ahucher86,
We apologize for any inconvenience. Please review the following options:
For the Top Level Menu Item: Go to Porto >> Theme Options >> Menu >> Menu Styling. You can find a visual guide here: https://pasteboard.co/4TCxzGGXKDqR.png
For the Main Menu: Navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Header and edit the Navigation Menu item. Under the “style” section, you can adjust the typography as needed: https://pasteboard.co/0ZhbPytRXUOL.png

Good Day.
I have a popup that appears on the homepage and is working as expected. Unfortunately, the popup contents are too much for mobile.
How can I ensure the popup still works on desktop, but does not appear on mobile?
Thanks as always!!!
Hello, @SQLGuru,
Unfortunately, there’s no way to apply the newsletter popup exclusively to desktops and not to mobile devices. If you’d like to remove it from the mobile version, you’ll need to use Custom CSS. Please provide the page URL and a screenshot, and I’ll help you with the Custom CSS.

Hello, The all departments menu in the title opens only when clicked with the mouse. I want it to open when hovered over with the mouse. how can i do this?
In the demo linked below, it opens when you click on the all departments button. Even though I installed the same demo, the menu does not open without clicking on it.
https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/shop46/Hello, @grafimarkt,
Sorry for the inconvenience but unfortunately, the show-on hover menu effect is only available in wpbakery now. We will add that option to the Elementor in the future.
For now, if you want you can use the Custom JS code to solve your issue easily.
Please navigate to the Dashboard >> Porto >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom JS >> and paste the below code there like this: https://postimg.cc/PvGXTrrs and then save settings, finally check back to your site after clearing the browser cache.
window.jQuery(document).ready(function($){
$(".intro-carousel").on('resized.owl.carousel', function(event) {
$(".intro-carousel .owl-nav").width($(".elementor-container").width() + 40);
});
jQuery('#main-toggle-menu').addClass('show-hover');
});
window.jQuery(".intro-carousel").on('initialized.owl.carousel', function(event) {
setTimeout(function(){
jQuery(".intro-carousel .owl-nav").width(jQuery(".elementor-container").width() + 40);
}, 100);
});

hi, please see the cart page: https://www.treviro.nl/winkelwagen/
I created a custom post type for the cross sell products named “Product Type Simple S”.
How can I change the layout of the cross sells to the “Product Type Simple S” I created?
Hello, @dennygoosensen,
The Cross-sells products (user defined) show on the cart page.
And unfortunately, there is no option to apply the custom layout on those Cross-sells products because of not editing the Custom layout for Cart page.

Hello, @Colesvida,
1. You can change the New label from Porto >> Theme Options >> WooCommerce as per your requirements: https://pasteboard.co/wzs984Ll4FBP.png
2. About “Please select some product options before adding this product to your cart.” it is created with JavaScript, It’s coming from Woocommerce it self. here the file.
...public\wp-content\plugins\woocommerce\includes\class-wc-frontend-scripts.php
You can also use custom code to manipulate the output at that position: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50216622/change-the-alert-text-on-add-to-cart-action-without-selected-variation-in-woocom
3. Please follow these steps:
Go to WP-Dashboard.Navigate to Loco Translate > Themes > Porto.
Edit the language file you are using on your site.
After that, click the SYNC button and save the changes:
https://pasteboard.co/kTjVW1LLOUXR.png
Finally, search for and translate the desired strings. This should resolve the issue.
4. That is the Custom Text, and you can change it from WP-Dashboard >> WooCommerce >> Settings >> Accounts & Privacy >> Privacy Policy: https://pasteboard.co/1Tq3C8oInYdV.png

Hello, Can you tell me how can I build a header for the mobile version of the site that is different from the desktop version with wpbakery. I can’t find a good explanation anywhere. Thank you
Hello, @gs-webcreator,
To manage different layouts for various devices using the WP Bakery editor, take advantage of the responsiveness features for columns. You can follow this guide: https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/control-elements-different-devices-responsive-column-controls/ . Set up elements to be visible on desktop but hidden on mobile, and vice versa. This approach allows you to easily customize layouts for different devices.

hi when I use the countdown timer on the single product page builder. with a variable product it only shows when a variation is selected. is there a option to show it always?
Hello, @dennygoosensen,
The countdown timer’s default functionality is designed to activate when you select a product variation, ensuring it always displays only when a variation is chosen.
Regards, P-THEMES.
Please join our Discord Lesson
Hi, but there is no option to show it always instead of only when variation is selected?
Hello, @dennygoosensen,
That is what I told you it always shows only with the simple product but not with the variable products. This happens because variable products depend on variations, and the behavior is applied to those variations. Therefore, it only appears with variable products when you select a specific variation. This is the default functionality and cannot be changed unless you use code customization or a third-party plugin.

Hello, @jer23jk,
Thanks for your report, I am personally using the latest version of the theme with the PHP version 8.2 and also tested with PHP version 8.4 as well and there is no such issue on my test site.
I kindly request you to please share the small video clip to duplicate the same issue at my end on my test site, so that it will be easy for us to look and fix that issue.
Once you will share the video, I will follow it and then let you know that the issue is there in our theme or only on your site.

Hi, PT-Support2
Thank you for your prompt response.
The issue is quite straightforward: when I update to the latest version of the Porto theme, my site breaks on any version of PHP that I have tested (PHP 7.4, 8.0, and 8.1).
Given the nature of this issue, it’s not really something that can be captured effectively in a video. The site fails immediately upon activating the latest version of the theme, resulting in the fatal errors I described in my initial report.
To clarify:
I update the theme to the latest version. The site then breaks and shows a fatal error message across all tested PHP versions. Reverting to the previous theme version resolves the issue. If you require any further information or a different type of documentation to help replicate the issue, please let me know.
Hello, @jer23jk,
Please clone your site as a test site and share your site WP Admin URL and Credentials along with the Cpanel Login details with us via our support system so that our experts can check that issue on your site and help fix it.
