You’re using the very old version of this theme. So, please update your theme to its current version ( 1.4.0 ) and also do NOT forget to update your Renergy Elementor Addon plugin AFTER updated your theme. This will address your issue for sure.

THEME BROKE AFTER AN UPDATE WEBSITE DOWN
We are currently using your R-Energy THEME and the Elementor Addons plugin on our website: https://megawattgroup.com/.
The entire site was built using your theme and plugin.Following the recent Elementor update (version 3.29.2), our website has broken.
After reviewing the error logs, we identified that the issue appears to be due to incompatibility between your plugin/theme and the latest version of Elementor.
Additionally, we have not seen any updates available for either the theme or plugin since installation, which may be contributing to the issue.
We have an important event coming up, so resolving this is extremely urgent.

You need to firstly configure your Envato API Personal Token with Envato Market plugin. This API Token will allow WordPress to securely receive item updates.
Also, you can check this sample video tutorial to see how to update your theme.
We just updated the theme and plugin using the Envato account and followed the procedure you mentioned.
Theme current version is 1.4.0
The site has been restored, but the slider and some other elements are not working. I also noticed that Elementor on the admin side is not functioning properly, it keeps loading, and I’m unable to edit any content.

We made multiple tests using the latest version of this theme on different devices and never run into any issues. Please also make sure you’ve updated your Renergy Elementor Addon plugin AFTER updated your theme.

If you’re referring to the critical error after having the 2.6+ version of Elementor, yes you need to firstly update your theme to its latest version and AFTER updated your theme, you need to also update Renergy Elementor Addon plugin.

I’ve tried to install a fresh copy of the theme, but it no longer works. The Elementor Plugin fails to update the content. From a technical perspective it seems like the admin-ajax.php fails with a 400 error code.
I couldn’t find any clear documentation on how to fix this, but at the same time I see the author acknoleging the issue.

Firstly, you have to update your theme with Envato Market plugin. After updated your theme to 1.3.8 version, you’ll see a notice about the Renergy Elementor Addon plugin but this notice will only appear after you updated your theme. So, also update your Renergy Elementor Addon plugin AFTER updated your theme and this issue will be fixed.

They want to use the same template but rebuild it again to something else however, we no longer have access to the site we originally built and the code says it is still active on that site. As a rule, you can use a template only on 1 domain (subdomain unlimited), if there is an active website on another server, you cannot use this license, so you must purchase a new license.

If you look at the domain name for the site it is no longer active. They did not renew the domain name and want to use it for the new domain name but we no longer have access to the older domain name since it is expired there is also no active hosting for it. There is nothing active for that site it is all gone.

Please I want to build on a subdomain first before moving to replace my existing website. If I activate the theme on the subdomain will it ruin my chances of making it work somewhere else?

No, it’ll not cause any problem. You can use your lisense code on your subdomain and once you’re done, you can easy disconect your lisense on your WordPress and then you can use it on your actual domain.
