Google website indexing error

I have an error when indexing my website on Google, and the page speed page shows the following error: Browser Compatibility Correctly sets charset Error! A character encoding declaration is required. It can be done with a <meta> tag in the first 1,024 bytes of the HTML or in the Content-Type HTTP response header. I made changes to the htaccess file and wp-config.php as suggested in forums, but it didn’t work.

you can check it by visiting your site, right click >View page source > and then search for the html tag above

Thanks for reaching us, first please make sure that you already assigned the categories that you’ve made into posts, you can check how many posts are assigned to the categories from Dashboard > Post > Categories , you’ll be able to see how many posts assigned to categories in that page, also check if the posts status is published.

Thanks for using JNews, if you are using the same domain for your production site and preproduction site, for example, jnews.io and staging.jnews.io, you can use the license on both of the sites at the same time, and you can activate the license at the second site with the same way you activate the license on your first site, you can check the documentation in the link below

This has been reported on your support platform already. AMP Extender is giving White error page: There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress. IF AMP Extender is disabled, AMP pages works fine, but when enabled, it gives an error with Reader theme: AMP Legacy. Note, We use child theme where we have ONLY added code to deactivate yoast breadcrumb. Also, we have deactivated all plugin, leaving only AMP and Jnews AMP, but the error still occurs, we also changed to main Jnews theme, but the error remains. Please investigate this.

UPDATE: I can confirm that this problem is caused by the Jnews AMP Extender Plugin. I downgraded the current version 11.0.2 to version 11.0.0 and the problem is resolved. Please verify, that something is wrong with version 11.0,2 (FYI: I did not test version 11.0.1). The error log says something is missing on Jnews AMP line 213 or so.

Well, this is an issue caused by a subsequent update, and not because there is a specific issue with my site. As you can see, I’ve been using Jnews for many years, a period long enough for me to tell where an issue is coming from, So I don’t think the addition for a support extension is necessary. If you claim that Jnews AMP extender v11.0.2 is working well from your test, then so be it. It is not working for me, but version 11.0.0 works fine, so let’s see what the next update brings.

I’ve also noticed that the content body jumps when the mobile horizontal menu is used. This jump is even more noticeable when the header menu is set to always stick. This happens when you scroll up as shown in the video URL below. (FYI: Your Newsplus Demo only have always stick header menu on PC. Mobile only sticks when scrowled up. CSS is used to get it to stick in the video URL below. This is a general issue with Jnews on mobile when the Horizontal Mobile Menu is used. So please check this from your end and fix it. I have a problem with ‘Category Setting’ (when editing a category). Under ‘Override Single Post Option’ I have tried to create a separate design for posts for a specific category. But the changes are not applied to the posts.

Is there any other way to define a post design for a category?

Thanks for reaching us, Override Single Post Option The override single post option will only applied to specific posts where you activate the override option for example if you have a post with the title “Hello World” and activate the Override Single Post Option there, it will be applied for Hello World post

unfortunately at this point, we don’t have the option to make a custom single post for a specific category, currently, we only have the option to change a specific post template using Override Single Post Option or create a custom template that applied to all posts from Dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Single Post Options > Single Blog Post Template > Custom

Dear Sir/Madam, I have renewed extended support for of the themes I’m using on my client website. The website is currently not updating stories on the homepage when we upload new stories. The Issue at hand is linked to Server Cache system (REDIS) which we use on this site. The problem started about a month ago when we updated the theme with current theme updates. Below is the advise I got from the Host server support: After some troubleshooting, including disabling plugins and resetting the theme, it appears that the ‘jnews-essential’ plugin is key to how posts are displayed on the top page. There might be a specific setting within this plugin that’s not catching the latest posts to update the top main page. Since this plugin is part of your theme setup, I recommend reaching out to the theme provider for more targeted support. Kindly help urgently!

first, please try to disable the REDIS caching in the server, also try to disable CDN caching or plugin caching if you are using one

please make sure the cache query option is disabled on your website, you can check it on the WordPress dashboard > appearance > customize > JNews: Additional Option > Query Option > Enable Cache Query

Pre-Sale Question: I want to use Jnews for my Client’s news portal(Monthly Page Views Around 15 Lakh to 30 Lakh) which is currently using Publisher Theme. I’m checking Publisher theme is retiered as no new update is coming since last year. Here are my Questions. 1. Is the theme light weight? 2. My current Infra size is 4 core 8 GB for APP and 4 core 8 GB for Application, which is running with AWS lightsail. The existing infra will support Jnews theme, specially when there is a spike in traffic? 3. I think Elementor Page builder is bit heavy, How u r claiming that the pages will load Faster ? I bought the themes now that I went to install them, I simply can’t because it gives me the error Failed to Load Content! in Import Demo & Style. If you buy the theme and the support expires, you lose the theme and can no longer use it, unfortunately I bought it without knowing that there was this rule that the theme only works while the support is valid.

My websites are still not working and this company is not solving the problem. I am leaving these comments here so that you, who may be future customers, understand that after you buy the theme, they block your ID and you can no longer update the website. It’s money thrown in the trash.

I’d like to clarify that we do not block any accounts from downloading theme demos. Even if your support license has expired, you are still able to download the demo. This is because the support license and theme license are different. Once you’ve purchased the theme, you have access to it for a lifetime.

If you are having trouble loading the demo content, it may be related to a server configuration issue on your end. Please ensure that the Referrer Policy of your site is set to strict-origin-when-cross-origin as this can affect the demo load process

I followed the instructions exactly, but unfortunately, I am getting a blank page even though there is content on the assigned Archive Template page.

Here are the steps I completed:

1. Activated the JNews Extended Category Option from Dashboard > JNews Dashboard > Plugins > Activate the plugin.

2. Created a template under Dashboard > Archive Template > New Template.

3. Assigned the template to the relevant category under Dashboard > Post > Categories.

4. Enabled the “Override Category Setting” and selected the custom template.

However, when I visit the category page, it still shows a blank page. Could you please help me figure out what might be causing this issue?
