The quality of code in Tagdiv newspaper has deteriorated drastically. Some of the recent codes are very open-ended and unoptimised, and it is hitting server resources.
For example,
“SELECT * FROM tds_plans”; 26.44 seconds
Similarly, when the filter is set to display the most popular post in the last 7 days (non-Jet Pack option), the poorly written code takes 13 seconds to execute.
I have found 11 such instances (queries) where each query takes more than 10 seconds to execute; it’s all because it’s not coded in an optimized manner.
All this started after Tagdiv added News Subscription models and many other news ones.

Eventually, you are saying, “We did the shitty coding. Now you guys act as our testing team to find out bugs and let us know the issues. We will take our own sweet time to fix that. Until then, let customers suffer.”
Wish you would do a proper testing before releasing such updates and codes.
After updating to ‘Newspaper Publication Pro,’ all my Google search thumbnails have disappeared. The search results are showing without thumbnails, and I’m losing traffic day by day, even though I’m ranking in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions. Is there any setting I need to adjust on my end?

Changing the theme or demo can affect the google results for a short time until the website is reindexed by google.

That should be possible. The ACF plugin has an embed type of custom field which you can add to your post submission page, so users can add the links to the videos. Then these can be displayed in the single post page using the custom field element from the composer. You could try it. shop page isn’t full width. full width option in edit page doesn’t exist. edit with tagdiv option doesn’t exist. import shop loop template doesn’t do anything. tagdiv shop plugin is active. can’t add header to shop page.

I created a front-end post form for users to create posts and successfully sent the first test post. So far everything is good. But how will the author draft the post via the front-end form again? Or how will the author edit the post via the front-end? When I click the “edit” link on the post, I see that it was done via the wp dashboard. I don’t want users to enter the wp dashboard. How will I edit these? Finally, I want to add a link to the profile menu on the top right to show all of the author’s posts. How will I do it? If you want to provide the option to edit the post, you can do so in the my account page. The users can see their own posts in their account page, that is how it is usually done. It is done through that page that I mentioned that contains the post list element.

From what I see the theme has been modified, the main stylesheet from the theme doesn’t contain any code. Without the CSS, the theme will not display correctly. Please reinstall the theme as provided in your themeforest account, and do not make any modifications to the theme files. Then the problems should be solved.

The account pages from the cloud library https://prnt.sc/wgCUvJtRJdXq are not for woocommerce. They are for the subscription plugin https://prnt.sc/QatRv6L9-LDU which uses its own pages https://prnt.sc/F49EKs_eEQcR Woocommerce provides its own account page https://prnt.sc/lFdVMMP1d9ZN in which you can place the my account shortcode from the composer.
Using a shop page template is simple. You can import a template for it from the cloud library https://prnt.sc/FJ1ahZx5ODTT and set it. That shop page template can be edited with the composer and customized.
Just to be sure, the theme shop plugin must be active in order to use woocommerce templates https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-shop/

Is the current theme version compatible with the php 8.3? Does this theme have in-built WebP image functionality?

The theme works fine with PHP 8.3. For webp the only option the theme provides is to load webp images in blocks if you are uploading them in webp https://prnt.sc/ms5AMsBbH3rj But the theme will not convert images to webp, please use a plugin for that. Are there any plans for a new update? If yes, when will it happen approximately – in a month, in three, in six? There has been 4 updates this whole year. Is Newspaper 13 coming out or updates to make this theme current. (AI, css effects, etc.) Thanks

I can’t say unfortunately. We will either release a series of smaller updates, or a big update, but I have no timeline to provide. There are a few major new features being developed at this time, they will however take more time to finish and test.
