I look forward to creating an LMS project but have a few presale questions. 1. Can the Instructor create separate classes to enrol students of his choice? 2. Is there any feature related to student attendance, or exam reports? 3. Screen recording of the device is allowed or not allowed 4. Calendar of Scheduled Classes, when a student enrolls – he get a notification before class or not? 5. Automated Certificate on course completion. 6. Can we track how much time the Trainer has spent in his classes?

    Yes, instructors can create courses and add students as needed.

  2. Is there any feature related to student attendance, or exam reports?
    Currently, there isn’t a student attendance feature. However, our MasterStudy Pro Plus plugin offers enhanced reporting and analytics tools. You can purchase it here.

  3. Screen recording of the device is allowed or not allowed?
    There isn’t a specific configuration for screen recording, and it may depend on your WordPress website settings. To protect your lesson content, you can add watermarks to your videos and files. However, there isn’t a built-in option for this in the MasterStudy theme or bundled plugins.

  4. Calendar of Scheduled Classes: when a student enrolls, do they get a notification before class or not?
    While there isn’t a calendar feature, students will receive a notification upon enrollment. You can also set a starting date for the courses. I recommend checking out the demo and trying the backend demo as well; you can find it with the green button below: MasterStudy Demo.

  5. Automated Certificate on course completion?
    Yes, a certificate is automatically generated after course completion.

  6. Can we track how much time the Trainer has spent in his classes?
    It’s a bit unclear whether you mean the duration of Zoom classes or the time spent creating courses. Currently, there is no tracking feature for this. If you can provide more details, we would be happy to consider your feedback for future improvements, as we always value our users’ opinions.

I’d really like to use the Built-in “Course Player” but it doesn’t allow for the use of YouTube Subtitles/CCs. Is there a way we can get this added? Right now we can change speed, and that’s it.

I’m trying to upload large files (>500mb) and i’m still getting errors.

Is there a way to fix that issue ? I changed the parameter to have the possibility to upload up to 5Gb but it looks like the function is not working properly. That could be frustrating for the instructors.

Also, there is no option in the dashboard for the instructors to see the courses they have created and to edit them.

If you’re attempting to upload videos, I recommend uploading them to YouTube and then embedding the link in your course. If you’d like to hide YouTube branding, you can adjust that in your YouTube settings.

Additionally, while you’ve set the parameter to allow uploads up to 5GB, I would advise against using such a large size, as it could impact overall performance. You may also need to check and adjust your server limits to facilitate larger uploads effectively.

To facilitate large file uploads, check the following server settings:

PHP Configuration:

  • upload_max_filesize: Set to accommodate your file size (e.g., 5GB).
  • post_max_size: Must be larger than upload_max_filesize.
  • max_execution_time: Increase for longer uploads.
  • memory_limit: Adjust if you encounter memory errors.

Web Server Configuration:

  • For Apache: Check .htaccess for restrictions.

We are consistently getting Quizses that just go heywire when calculating what score to give students. The problem is so random, and there doesn’t seem to be any differences between quizzes that calculate correctly, and those that don’t What could possibly be going on?
