I’m trying to make a very simple one page woocommerce store where people can click on “add to cart” for each product. I know how to achieve this on the Salient Shop page but is there a way to disable individual product pages?

3. There is no way to alter the social plugin sharing icon list to include outside networks. I would recommend using a third-party plugin instead of the included one for that functionality if needed.
4. That template will inherit from your heading 3 typography settings in the Salient options > Typography > General HTML elements tab. If that’s not working for you, please share your page URL so that I can take alook.

It looks like your Heading 1 font size is set to 100px in the Salient options > Typography > General HTML elements tab, which is the starting value which responsive calculations are based off of. You can reduce that in order to have the text shrink as desired on mobile.

However, the text in the comment box is in English. I attempted to use the ‘say-what’ plugin to translate the text, but it was unsuccessful. Is it possible to modify the comments.php file to change the text to Chinese? Alternatively, could I manually add a comment box in the article editor that uses Chinese text, instead of using the Salient theme’s comment box?

1. I haven’t been able to replicate that when testing on my end yet – I’ve tried Chrome/FireFox/Safari on Mac. Here’s a screen recording. Could you let us know your browser and OS?
2. Say What can be utilized to translate all of those strings. Sure that you’ve entered the string in the correct case. For example “Leave a Reply”, and that you’ve input the text domain as “salient”.
3. The ticket system has been operational over the past week with no known downtime. Can you please let us know in greater detail what error you’re receiving when attempting to use it?

Unfortunately, WordPress will strip various tags from regular non HTML enabled fields in WPBakery. (HTML fields have the TinyMCE toolbar and there can only be one per element). You should be able to insert other tags, like a strong tag or something similar and then use CSS to style them to mimic a line break.

Those will inherit from your “Form and Category Labels” settings in the Salient options > Typography > General HTML elements tabs. You can control the font weight and size from that field without needing CSS.

It looks like this message has been existing for a few versions. Does it need to be fixed?
“Your theme (Salient) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce…”
When I click “View affected templates”, it shows that these pages are outdated: /cart/mini-cart.php /checkout/form-checkout.php /content-product.php /loop/add-to-cart.php /myaccount/form-login.php /single-product/product-image.php
Is this an issue? Will this cause any issues?

I’m experiencing a lag issue with two elements on the product pages:
1. The Klarna/Affirm notice below the product price. 2. The Express Checkout buttons (Google Pay and Apple Pay).
Both elements don’t load immediately and appear with a delayed animation effect.

Hello, do you have an easier method or recommendation for posting recipes? I wish there was a salient template that I can just use with good recipe layout and maybe there is but I haven’t found a way yet. I am using a third party plugin for recipes and adding in the shortcode and it’s just not a good workflow. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Are you referring to a blog post set to the Link format with an external URL? If so, it should automatically open in a new window by default. Could you share the URL of the page on your website that contains the link you’re referring to, so I can take a look?

Yes, that’s right. I used the Minimal Blog Grid format of Templates as is, but when I click, the post doesn’t open in a new window.
When I set up a blog post using ‘Layered Portfolio’ in the template, the post opens in a new window.
