I had bought Basel years ago but never used it because Woodmart is by far the best theme. However a client needed left side header, so I thought to give Basel a chance. I’m so disappointed because you have left this theme abandoned and while you can make it as good as Woodmart, you don’t. At least add a left sided header to woodmart. Basel is abandoned!
On single portfolio there is no previous and next! Visitors must go back every time? Why is it so hard to add some good features to it? Also no option to disable breadcrumbs, had to to do it with css. No text, image element, no style to wp bakery elements. Why should I renew or anyone buy this theme? Please update it!

Dear Xtemos, since 2018 that I came across Woodmart, I have never used any other eshop theme. That being said, you can understand that I very well know that Woodmart was like Basel and the only reason I bought Basel was because I wanted to have a variety of home designs and styles. By that time Basel had identical features with Woodmart. So I know very well that Basel doesn’t have different philosophy and compared to the Woodmart improvements, Basel is abandoned. Of course you update it so that it will still work and be compatible but you have left it behind.
1. I spent hours to remove all demo pages while it should have templates like woodmart.
2. Basic elements are missing such as text and single image/svg.
3. Poor options to elements and responsive options that are nicely added to woodmart.
4. Single portfolio pagination
5. The elements have the hat icon of the wpbakery and you cannot recognize them.
All the above and many more could have been added to Basel and make it another great theme of your collection. We need different designs so that the websites we create will not be identical and as I said that was the reason I got Basel. But the lack of the all great features of Woodmart make it a poor theme.
If Woodmart had left side header there will be no chance to use Basel. But now I did and I will need this theme to be improved by time so that my client will be happy.
I hope my comments will help improve Basel because we need the variety in styles.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Yes, WoodMart is our flagship theme but it doesn’t mean that other themes deserve one star because not all the features are available from WoodMart.
We accept your feedback but rating our theme with 1 star definitely doesn’t help to make it better 
Dear Xtemos, you have a point and I’m willing to give 5 star and buy more licenses once you update it. Basel is by far better than others but compared to Woodmart is night and day. We need Basel to be as good as Woodmart with a slightly different design as it always had so that our creations won’t be identical. I’m so used to woodmart logic that it is impossible for me to prefer another theme supplier. I count on you!

We understand your point, but we are sorry to say that Basel is not going to get all the updates that WoodMart gets. We will still maintain its performance, stability and security and add some minor features. But it will not get new page builders support, new prebuilt demos and so on. In your case, you can either choose Basel and use as it is or just continue using WoodMart for your project if you like it as much

Dear Xtemos, we don’t need new demos or page builders. Just upgrade options and elements to look like Woodmart. Otherwise it would be good to add vertical header to Woodmart. If there was such an option I wouldn’t have messed up with Basel.

Are you planning to do any more updates here or are you deprecating the theme? The updates come have come so sparsely over the past 2 years I’m starting to think about ditching the theme for one with a faster development cycle even with the headache of making the change.

Hi, Urgent question, pls asssit. We’re trying to add a simple link ‘DELETE ACCOUNT’ to link back to our Help page, so users can request account deletion under GDPR. The link is to be added in the frontend ‘My Admin’ dashboard so each user can see it there https://i.postimg.cc/NGmn0qjs/imgdsh.png We can’t see an option for this setting in the theme. There isn’t an option within the theme to add this feature directly. However, you can achieve it through custom development by adding custom code. Unfortunately, we don’t have a working solution for this.

Hello! The “Frequently bought together” functionality is not working with variations? I talking about the option of hiding the out of stock variations. I’ve seen that when we create a bundle we have the option to activate the hide out of stock option. But then, on the front-end still appears all the variations, even if some of them are out of stock. Or I’m missing something?

I would like to find out regarding my licence for my template, so I see I never put the licence code in my wordpress site. I need to cancel my domain but want to be able to reuse my template for a future site. If I never installed the code on my site will I be able to use it for another site? Or what must I do?

Went through the contact form, which led me to support from them over email. After they confirmed my purchase code and everything is good I have yet to hear back.
I figured it out with no help from the Devs. If you are trying to change the [social_buttons] short code. Make sure all of your socials are correctly inputed in the theme options for follow or share. Then, where the [social_buttons] shortcode is, just use [social_buttons type=”follow”] or [social_buttons type=”share”] to display the proper social icon list. Hopefully this helps someone!
