Thank you for considering our theme. Our theme does indeed provide a few features for creating a directory and listings.
1. There is no option in the theme for importing data from a file. It could maybe be done with a plugin, for example like this https://www.wpallimport.com/documentation/importing-an-xml-or-csv-file/ You would need to assign the data from the file to actual wordpress content. This may be complicated to do.
2. The theme provides a rating system on the website, like this https://forum.tagdiv.com/user-reviews/ Displaying Google reviews could be done with a plugin, like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-reviews-plugin-for-google/
3. That would be a nice feature to have, and we will consider it. But I can’t say that it will certainly be added, or when it will be added. Our theme provides the basic features for creating a directory, submitting listings, integration with our subscription plugin for the directories, and compatibility with the ACF plugin for creating the post type, taxonomies, custom fields. Dedicated premium plugins will probably have more advanced options. And we will try to add more in our theme as well.

Hello! When activating the theme and installing the demo version, do I have to completely remove the previous theme and all its extensions? Or after installing and activating the theme, should I then remove the old theme and its extensions so that they do not interfere with the work of the new one?

When activating the theme, the previous one is automatically deactivated. If the previous theme had its own plugins, it would be best to deactivate them to avoid potential conflicts. TagDiv Composer Not Functioning Properly – Request for Update
Dear Support Team, I have already taken the following steps to resolve the issue:
Deactivated all existing plugins (only kept the ones necessary for the theme active). Restarted the server. Cleared the cache. Updated the theme. Despite these actions, the TagDiv Composer is still not functioning correctly. I am attaching a screenshot to illustrate the problem.

From what I see there are more issues that just with the images. The header search is not working, the block pagination. And all the website resources seem to be loading from AMP, on desktop. There is something unusual going on there. I suggest deactivating all non theme plugins as a test, to see if the website works and displays correctly. Although the WPBakery plugin is not required anymore, we still provide it in the theme package. We include the latest version for it, at the time when the theme update is released. Thanks for your inputs on this. However, we require the most latest version of this plugin. There are certain pages in our website designed using this plugin. Like you mentioned, one of my team member will send you an email for the latest copy of this.
I need to use a different menu for mobiles since the mega menu categories are not shown on mobiles. Is that possible?
Edit: Ok I found it! You have hidden everything somehow! It could be just added from the menu locations! Anyway, I found it and it works.

It’s not hidden, the cloud headers just have to be customized with the composer, including for setting the menus. A header can have 4 versions, desktop/mobile, sticky desktop/mobile, and they are each independent from each other. Meaning that they can display different elements in them, different menus, logos, etc. To see each version of the header and customize it, you just have to open the website manager in the composer and click on the version you want to customize https://prnt.sc/KbR7icfajxT_ Also if needed different headers can be used for each page or template, which expands the capabilities. Caching plugin WP Fastest Cache – we recommend WP super cache
You recommend installing WP Fastest Cache but the problem is that your theme support WP till 6.5 but WP Fastest Cache accept WP 6.6+
So I installed and Activated WP Fastest Cache but the warning is still there
Please disregard that cache recommendation/warning, everyone can use any caching/optimization plugin they want. It’s more of a suggestion, which can be helpful for some users. The super cache is a nice free plugin. But it does not mean that its the only caching plugin that can be used with the theme. Please use what you want. In terms of Wordpress compatibility, our theme works fine with the latest Wordpress version. If you find any issues, please contact us by email and let us know, so we can check as well.

Are you using Firefox version 134.0? Because we have identified an issue with it when using the composer. Some inputs and checkboxes may be missing from the block settings. Our developer team are already investigating the problem, something from the new Firefox version is causing this problem. In the meantime I suggest using a different browser if possible, if you want to use the composer. Please try it.

Something in this theme was recently hacked. I tried updating but it only stays on v11 not updating to v12? I have to redo the entire site again? This is exhausting.

We did release a few very important security updates since version 11 https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-changelog It is very important to keep the theme updated if possible, not update it after there are problems. This is the same for any theme or plugin. Or if for some reason you cannot update the theme, at least use a security plugin such as wordfence, to help with the website security.
What you mentioned is a bit strange. If you remove the old theme and plugins, and install the new ones, then the version should be the latest. And the website does not need to be redone after updating the theme. Not sure what is happening there exactly. We could take a closer look at it, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to the website, admin login, also access to cPanel or FTP. We will check as soon as possible.

I believe that issue may happen if the WPBakery plugin is active. If that’s the case, we could try and provide a solution for it, assuming WPBakery is a required plugin for your website and cannot be disabled.
Our composer is actually a very good builder, which can be seen by checking our demos, and the cloud library content containing thousands of templates. It can be used to create basically any design, for any page and type of template. It provides flexible elements, a module builder to create your own blocks basically, and much more. It has been greatly improved over the years since it was introduced, and we will continue to improve it in the future.

Hello, first of all thank you for the information that Wp Bakery was the problem for the import of blocks. I disabled it for the import. But it is a must to adopt your theme to Wp Bakery as it used to be.
Eventually I managed to create something good with it to show to my client. However training him to use it will not be easy if he choose your theme.
Furthermore the next and previous post on single post doesn’t work. Dark and light theme would have been good addition too. Many people prefer dark themes nowadays.
Last but not least, I changed my feedback because the theme is still good. The customization is too hard to understand. For sure harder than in the past. Think about the known builders.

Hi Seems there’s a problem My locker isn’t locking my posts, I’ve tried all I can’t but the post keeps showing even tho I put locked, I’ve opened two accounts now and entered locked post, without subscription, and the post freely shows without the locker, what might be the problem?

I noticed that there are three theme which support RTL.
Does it mean if I like another theme which is not between one of the three themes I can not have RTL page, can I?
Another question, if I want to have multi language page by using Polylang plugin and one page is LTR and another RTL, is it possible?
Hi,
For a RTL website it would be best to use a RTL demo, because the design is already made for RTL. If you use a different demo it will not look good in a RTL website, and the design will have to be adjusted. It is possible, but this will take some time and work.
For a multilingual website, with content translated in multiple languages, we recommend using the WPML plugin if possible. Our theme and the cloud templates work fine with it. As far as I know the Polylang plugin does not work with our cloud templates, meaning that templates can’t be set per language unfortunately. I’m sorry for this inconvenience.

Is the RTL templates has just the different layout for the menus, sidebars (in general the element positions) or there are also the other different parameters from LTR templates?
If it’s just it I don’t mind if I use LTR template but it also the fonts, please let me know how I can add some fonts because the RTL fonts for Arabic language and Persian is different and I noticed that your fonts are Arabic.

It’s all design basically. Each element from the top to the bottom of the page is adjusted with our composer builder, and with extra CSS where needed, for RTL. That is why it is easier to start with a RTL ready demo. A regular demo can be converted to RTL, it can be done, but it will take some work. And some demos have pretty complex designs, not ready for RTL unfortunately.
In terms of fonts, the theme provides Google fonts, from here https://fonts.google.com/ Additionally there are options to load up to 5 custom fonts, in case the ones you need to use are not available by default. There should be no problems using the fonts you want.

I like the LTR template design because I like the element positions and I don’t like the RTL menu, sidebar or any other repositioning element on the screen.
My only concern is if LTR theme will have problem with the RTL text, example if I write a sentence which contain also the LTR word, what would happen?

A LTR demo on a LTR environment will display normally. The text will be normal, for example https://prnt.sc/tIB4bC6_aL5n and with your text https://prnt.sc/KTH0EA_kjppL The text will not be RTL if the website is not RTL. But if the demo from my example is installed in a RTL environment the design will not be so good https://prnt.sc/zTtKiU-YvrpM For the demos to display better in RTL, they have to either be directly created for it, or have an alternative RTL design. With a translation plugin such as WPML, the pages and templates will have a version for each language, so they can be adjusted for the language. When you use a language switcher and change the language, the page or the template will change.

That is an interesting idea. I will add it to our list. But I can’t say if it will be added or when it will be added, unfortunately. Currently there is no way to change the direction in the theme or in the composer. It depends on the wordpress language. If a RTL language is set in wordpress, everything will be in RTL mode.

You can modify the theme if needed. But adding a functionality like you mentioned in the screenshot will be very difficult. The composer is a pretty complex plugin. It will be easier to just create the design directly in the composer. You would only need to have a RTL homepage and RTL templates for post, category, etc. Once the templates are done, they can be used for all the website content.
The composer can be used to create templates, not posts. So the template for a post, like these ones https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single The templates can be set globally https://prnt.sc/dGF6BOo1gVrF so they are used for the whole website. One post template can be used for all the posts on the website.
And if you use a plugin like WPML, you can create and use a set of templates for each language.
