We’ve gone ahead and tested this option on our end by disabling Customize ▸ Listings ▸ Labels & Behavior ▸ Allow comments on gallery images, and we weren’t able to replicate the same issue. The only change we observed is that the gallery images now open in a lightbox on the listing page instead of redirecting — and the images load correctly as expected.

If you’re still experiencing the “Image could not be loaded” issue, we recommend either:
