Question Pre Sale. How much could cost to setup a site with your theme?
Hello, @denisespinoza,
Thank you for your interest in Porto WordPress!
A single license for the theme, which covers one live site, is priced at $59 USD. After that, it’s up to you to choose the hosting for your site, and whether you want to build it yourself or hire a developer. The theme license remains at just $59 USD.

Hello! How can I make the “Add to Cart” button on mobile stick to the bottom while scrolling? Now, while scrolling, the button stays somewhere at the top and if I want to order I have to go up the page. Basically I want to make the button sticky on mobile. Thanks!
Hello, @Chrysmar,
In order to solve your issue, please copy and paste the below given CSS code to Porto >> Theme Options >> Custom CSS and check back to your site again,
@media (max-width: 768px) {
.sticky-product {
display: block !important;
}
}

Hi,
Could i please get someone to help me with my issue, my request number is: #53686
It takes very long to get support, as there is no live chat. I really need your help, there is no option to choose what product category to show on the elements. it is missing or a bug?
many thanks.
for people who are looking how to show products from 1 category, it’s under the option: taxonomies.
It took me a very long time, as its very hidden.
Hello, @samuelpuigdellivol,
Thank you for reaching out and for your patience.
I’m sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced trying to find the product category option. I completely understand how time-consuming that can be, especially when the option is not easy to locate. I’m glad to hear you were able to find it under “Taxonomies.”
If you have any more questions or run into further issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always here to help!
Thank you again for your understanding.

Hello. I currently work with a client who is using the Porto theme and we encounter a couple of issues.
1. The “featured” on-page widget has a heading tag H3 and we can’t change it. Also, I can’t find a way to add category filters instead of the featured widget.
2. All products listed in the category pages are H3 and I can’t find a way to change them to H2.
My client doesn’t remember his login details but has a full theme license and I can share it with you in private if you want to authenticate it.
I’ll be happy to get some help here and potentially get access to private support if possible to get these 2 issues out of the way.
Thanks a million!

Hi – I have a strange one. The Blog page, that lists all the blog posts have incorrect dates… like, by a few years.
When you click on the individual post, the date is correct… the time in the settings is correct… it’s like the ‘Blog’ page is somehow showing a strange date… that doesn’t match anything? It all seems to be the 17th…. December, October and September? All 17th… and all 2022
Any ideas?
Hello, @MrADeveci,
That’s definitely strange!
1. Check Post Date Settings
Even though individual post dates are correct, it’s worth checking if the blog posts themselves are set with the correct dates.
-Go to Posts in your WordPress dashboard.
-Edit a post that is showing the wrong date on the blog page.
-Check the Publish date in the Document settings on the right (under “Status & Visibility”). Ensure the date is accurate for each post.
Quick Tip: You can update or change the publish date if it was set incorrectly initially.
2. Check Blog Page Settings (Dynamic vs Static)
-WordPress can pull blog posts dynamically, but if you have a custom template for the blog page, it’s possible there’s a glitch with how dates are being pulled.
Go to Settings > Reading.
-If the “Your homepage displays” option is set to “A static page,” check that your Blog page is pointing to the right page.
3. Cache Issues
Sometimes, caching can display outdated information.
-Clear your website’s cache, if you’re using a caching plugin (e.g., W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache).
-Clear your browser cache and try reloading the blog page in incognito mode.
If the wrong dates are still showing, disable any caching plugins temporarily to test.
4. Timezone or Date Format Settings
-Even if your settings look correct, sometimes things can get misaligned if there are issues with how WordPress handles timezones.
-Go to Settings > General.
-Double-check the Timezone setting and the Date Format. Make sure they are set correctly to your local time zone.
If the issue still persists, then please check it once by activating the default WP Theme, to confirm whether the issue is with our theme or not.
And if the issue will only persists with our theme, then you can contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we can have a look into it for you on your site and help you out.

Hi, thanks for the response.
All those settings are accurate. The dates are all correct… it literally is the /Blog page that displays the dates incorrect on the front end.
I have like 7-8 Porto theme installs running and have never seen this issue before, it’s really odd.
Hello, @MrADeveci,
I see, then we have to look into it on your site, so please contact us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we can have a look into it for you on your site and help you out.

Hello, @PhilippeMPH,
There are two possible ways:
If you are not using the template builder for your Shop archive pages then you can turn it OFF from Porto >> Theme Options >> Breadcrumbs >> Page Title: https://postimg.cc/VrZwmR7r
And if you are using the custom layout for the shop archive pages then please navigate to Porto >> Template Builder >> Product Archives and edit the particular layout from there, and finally you can delete the title element from there as per your requirements.

Hello, the product reviews tab is not showing on mobile devices. Verified buyers are not able to leave a product review if viewing the website on mobile/tablet. However, can see existing reviews that have already been left. Just can’t add new reviews. I’m using the latest updated version of the theme. Any ideas? Works fine on desktop/laptop.

dear partners!
We have a new client at our company (we are a small agency in Greece) who is in the wholesale food trade. He wants a presentation of all his products in the form of a catalog (not an e-shop). He has about 8 main food categories, 64 subcategories, and around 300 sub-subcategories. I have all the products in an Excel file. There are quite a lot of products. Some of his competitors display their products using PDFs.
I would like to ask if the theme is capable of handling this project and if we can display the products in rows (without images) instead of using a grid layout.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Best regards, Triantafyllos Vlasopoulos
Hello, @fcnet,
Thank you for your interest in Porto WordPress!
Our theme is fully capable of handling projects with various categories and products. It includes a catalog mode feature, which allows you to disable the “Add to Cart” button, pricing, reviews, and other product details. Additionally, the theme offers a post type builder, so you can design your products even without images.

Hi, we are trying to place a different page banner (header) for individual pages (product categories). We have created a block for the individual categories and assign it using page layouts. When we assign another, it is applied to all categories and not just the one we want but all. In page layouts, we select Banner (page header), select the block, archive, product categories and then enter the category name. When we do this, it is applied to all categories and not just the one we are entering. Can you help please? Thanks.
Hello, @GunsandCo,
As you mentioned, this should have applied only to the specific category. It seems there may be a settings issue on your site. We kindly ask that you reach out to us through our support system, providing your site’s WP Admin URL and credentials, so we can investigate the issue and assist you further.

HI, i got this message when i want to add a new post: ” Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.” and also even i click on the “Hide the page title”, the page title still appear. Thank you.
Hello, @blank81,
It sounds like you’re encountering a common issue with WordPress when trying to publish a post. This error usually occurs due to issues with your server, theme, plugins, or WordPress configuration. Here are a few steps you can try to fix the issue:
Check Permalinks Settings:
Go to Settings > Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard.
Without changing anything, click Save Changes to refresh your permalink settings.
Deactivate Plugins:
A plugin conflict might be causing the issue. Try deactivating all plugins and see if the problem is resolved.
If the issue goes away, reactivate each plugin one by one to find the culprit.
Check .htaccess File:
A corrupted .htaccess file could be causing this issue. You can reset it by going to your WordPress root directory and renaming the .htaccess file (for example, .htaccess_old), then go to Settings > Permalinks and click Save Changes to regenerate a new .htaccess file.
Check Your Site’s URL Settings:
Go to Settings > General and verify that both the WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) are correct. If you have a URL mismatch (such as having https instead of HTTP or vice versa), it can cause issues.
If none of these steps work, we can kindly request you to please get in touch with us via our support system with your site WP Admin URL and Credentials so that we can have a look into it for you on your site and help you out.
