I updated the woo commerce to Version 9.7.1 and it says Your theme (Master Study Child version 3) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. My LMS eLearning PRO Version 4.5.3 Basic WP LMS Version 3.5.18
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
The warnings you see are from WooCommerce and don’t impact your website’s functionality. Since WooCommerce updates frequently—sometimes twice a week—its templates can become outdated in the theme, even if a theme update was just released. We don’t control WooCommerce’s update schedule, but the next theme version will include the latest template updates.
Best regards,
for child theme files as well?
How do you customize the sign up form? Currently, there are too many fields to fill out. I don’t want them to have to create a username or provide last name. First name, email and password is ideal. Thank you!
Hello
Thank you for the request.
The LMS Forms Editor Addon allows you to configure the plugin built-in forms such as Profile form (Registration), Become Instructor request form, and Enterprise form by adding the additional fields to the form.

I have been using this theme for a while, and it offers many useful features for educational platforms. I had some inquiries regarding license management, and I was able to resolve the issue on my own by trying a few steps. I wish the support was more responsive, but overall, the theme provides good features.

This is the BEST course plugin/template I’ve used. HOWEVER, it’s now useless. Whenever I try to make edits to course curriculum and hit ‘Save’, I get ‘Failed To Save Lesson’ errors.
I reset Permalinks, as suggested in other comments. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here are the Console errors: POST https://{URL}/wp-json/masterstudy-lms/v2/lessons/5121 403 (Forbidden)
Error: An error occurred at main.js:1:1324531 at async dC.request (main.js:1:1324333)
Hello there,
Thank you for the request.
The “Failed to Save Lesson” error in MasterStudy LMS, along with the 403 (Forbidden) response when making a POST request, suggests a permissions issue. Here are some possible causes and solutions:
- First of all, ensure MasterStudy LMS and your theme are up to date.
- If you have security plugins (eg., Wordfence, Sucuri, or iThemes Security) temporarily disable them and test again.
- If you have ModSecurity enabled on your server, it might be blocking API requests.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Tools → Site Health and check for any REST API errors.
- Ensure the following permissions are set correctly: Folders: 755 Files: 644
- after that go to Settings → Permalinks, change to Plain, save, then switch back to your previous setting (Post Name) and save again.
- Disable all plugins except MasterStudy LMS and see if the issue persists. If it works, re-enable plugins one by one to find the conflicting one.
Have a good day!
Thanks for your reply. -All permissions are correct. -I tried adjusting Permalinks. -No security plugins. -I tried incognito mode in browser. -No REST API errors. -All theme files are current.
BUT, removing this from the lesson fixed it: “URL Command: http://(PC's Public IP Address):(Port)/playlist/0/content”
This URL structure was for a lesson, not a link. Apparently, an improper URL will cause an error. Good to know.
Thanks!

Hi,
if a video lesson is uploaded with YouTube.
1) can I set that video only shows on my website? Hide in YouTube.
2) can I set that video link is not shareable? Hide in YouTube even with link
3) can i set that that can’t be downloaded?
I need that only payed memberships Can have access to the lesson.
Thanks.
Hi,
Thank you for reaching out! I’d be happy to help with your questions.
When uploading a video to YouTube, you can choose from three visibility options: Public, Private, and Unlisted. To ensure the video is only visible on your website, select the Unlisted option. This way, it won’t appear in YouTube searches, but it will be accessible through the link on your website.
I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “not shareable.” YouTube does not have a built-in option to prevent link sharing entirely. However, in MasterStudy LMS, even if a student shares the video link, only those with proper access (logged-in paid members) will be able to watch it within the course.
YouTube itself doesn’t offer a built-in way to completely prevent downloads. While there’s no download button, third-party tools can still be used to download videos. If strict content protection is a priority, you might want to look into self-hosting videos or using specialized video hosting platforms that offer better security.
For restricting access to paid members only, you can use the Paid Memberships Pro plugin. It allows you to include video lessons in membership-restricted courses. You can check the documentation here: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/masterstudy-theme-documentation/additional-features/masterstudy-theme-manual-membership-system
Best regards,
So if someone with the payed membership shares the link, that other person can see the video too?
Yes, if a YouTube link is shared, anyone with the link will be able to view the video.
1) What about with Vimeo?
2) Can you recommend where can I upload my videos to avoid this?
Thanks
Hello,
Vimeo offers two options that might help you achieve your goal:
Only on your website (Domain-level privacy): Restricts playback to specific domains, ensuring the video only works on your website.
Hide from Vimeo: Prevents the video from appearing on Vimeo while still allowing embedding.
You can find and adjust these settings in your Vimeo account.
Vimeo would be the best option for uploading videos.
Best regards
Thanks
You are always welcome
is it compatible with the ARMember plugin?
Hello there,
Thank you for the request.
No, it is not compatible with the ARMember plugin. Instead, you can use the Paid Memberships Pro plugin, which is free. Here is the manual: https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/masterstudy-theme-documentation/additional-features/masterstudy-theme-manual-membership-system

Hi, If someone buys a subscription and then distributes the account to his friends for free, how can I prevent this? Is there a feature or option to force the user to log in from one device or log out if another user uses the same login information?
Hello
Thank you for the request.
At the moment, we don’t have a built-in restriction to prevent multiple logins from different devices.
However, we understand how important this feature is, and you’re not alone in requesting it! Many users have shared similar feedback, and we already have a feature request for it

Hi, How are you
I want to implement your platform in a school, and I want to set up classes or courses for elementary and secondary levels. What I need is for the members of the elementary classes not to see the secondary classes at all, and vice versa. Thanks
The website loading speed is very very very slooooooow. I have upgraded my hosting service to the highest plan and also include CDN to store my digital contents. I have also remove entirely most of valuable contents on my homepage and yet the site speed is still very very very sloooooow. Did I make a mistake to choose Masterstudy for slow service delivery? From the comment section, I notice people are also having the same issue. How can this be solved? This is very disastrous to my business!!!
Hello there,
Thank you for the request.
It’s important to highlight that our client base exceeds 100,000 worldwide, and none of them have reported any issues with slow performance. Both our testing environment and live websites are functioning smoothly. It appears that the issue you are experiencing may be specific to your website. Furthermore, it’s crucial to understand that this issue is not solely related to a plugin; it also involves various aspects of WordPress and server configurations, such as central processing units and solid-state drives, which significantly impact processing efficiency. To provide further assistance, I suggest referring to the following guide for valuable insights on enhancing WordPress performance: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-performance-speed/
Moreover, the performance and speed of the site are influenced by multiple server settings and network connection factors by default. I recommend that you review the attached URL link below and follow the recommendations and tips to enhance the site’s loading speed and performance -> https://stylemixthemes.com/wp/how-to-boost-wordpress-speed-and-performance/
Additionally, on our live demo sites, our developers have utilized caching plugins such as Autoptimize, WP Super Cache, and the advanced-cache.php module on the server. These types of plugins can significantly improve the site’s performance.

I Created a FREE course but my students cannot play any of the video, nothing seems to be clickable even the ‘GET COURSE’ is not clickable. All my plugins are well updated. Please how do i resolve this ASAP. Thank you
Hello there,
The “GET COURSE” button is completely unclickable? That’s unusual. Check the browser console to see if any element is overlaying it. Also, try disabling third-party plugins to rule out conflicts. Resaving permalinks (ensuring “Post Name” is selected) might also help.
Let me know how it goes!
Great product! I encountered some bugs with some SCORM courses though. The page does not show the scorm, and keep loading again and again with a white screen.
Hello,
Thank you for your kind words!
Sorry to hear about the issue with SCORM courses. The continuous loading and white screen may be caused by a JavaScript conflict, caching issue, or SCORM file compatibility problem.
Here are a few things to try:
-Clear cache (browser & site cache) and test again.
-Disable third-party plugins to check for conflicts.
-Try a different SCORM file (if possible) to see if the issue persists.
-Check browser console (F12 > Console) for errors.
Best regards
Hello there, a few days ago i bought this theme and tested it on my site. I noticed that it missed some features from the pro plus version. So i bought the lifetime pro plus version of the plugin instead. Now i don’t need the theme anymore. Can i get a refund for it? Greetings
Hello there!
If your request falls within 14 days of purchase, you are eligible for a refund.
If you’d like to proceed, you can submit a refund request directly from your Envato profile page or use this link:
https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/newIf you need any assistance, feel free to reach out.

Hi, I can’t quite get Elementor to work. I’ve imported demo theme, i try to edit one of the pages and elementor is giving a blank screen error. also the Envato Plugin doesn’t work anymore (which i used to load elemento kits from Envato)
Hello there,
Thank you for the request.
First, check for errors by opening the page where Elementor is blank and inspecting the console (F12 > Console tab) to see if there are any red error messages. If there are, let me know what they say.
Another common issue is the PHP memory limit being too low. Try increasing it by adding this to your wp-config.php file:
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M');
If Elementor still doesn’t load, there could be a conflict with another plugin.
Temporarily disable all plugins except Elementor / Elementor Pro, then try editing a page. If it works, re-enable the plugins one by one to find the issue.
Switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four or Hello Elementor can also help determine if the issue is theme-related.
You might also want to reinstall both Elementor and Envato Elements to rule out any plugin corruption. Delete them, then reinstall from the WordPress Plugin Directory.
If the issue persists, enabling debug mode can help uncover more details. Add this to wp-config.php:
define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
After that, check wp-content/debug.log for any error messages. Feel free to reach out anytime via > https://support.stylemixthemes.com/tickets/new/
Have a good day!
That seemed it work! Thank you so much.

Also when I try to Create or edit a course, it takes me to a login page which loads forever when i enter my login information.
Hello there,
Thank you for the request.
Please make sure that your theme and plugins are updated to their latest versions. Once updated, kindly resave the permalinks.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting by deactivating any third-party plugins, including any caching plugins, to identify the cause.
Let us know how it goes!
My theme is not working, I purchased long time ago but now I’ve installed and I can’t register as a user and enroll for courses. It keeps loading non-stop. Please help
Hello!
Thank you for reaching out. I’m so sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. To resolve it, please ensure that both your theme and all plugins are updated to their latest versions.
After updating, kindly resave your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks, making sure the Post name is chosen, and clicking Save Changes (without any modifications).
If the issue persists, it may be caused by a plugin conflict. I recommend temporarily deactivating any third-party plugins.
Please give these steps a try and let us know how it goes.
Best,
Hello, I have reviewed your product completely. It is a great product. Congratulations. I want to customize the course builder section. According to the documentation and research, I came to the following file. plugins\masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system\_core\stm-lms-templates\course-builder.php
How can I delete – edit – and add fields in the Settings section?
/user-account/edit-course/{course_id}/settings/main/
Hello!
Thank you for your question!
Unfortunately, this is not possible because our Course Builder is built as a single application, so it cannot be customized.
Please note that if you make changes directly in the plugin files, future updates may overwrite them. To prevent this, you should either disable updates or develop the changes as a separate plugin.
Best regards,
How do I add alternative text to the course image? I added the alt text when I uploaded the image, but the site does not show the alt text. This is affecting the SEO.I find the courses page is not SEO-friendly at all.
Hello,
Thank you for your request!
You can add alternative text to your course image by going to the WordPress Dashboard > Media, selecting the image, and entering the alt text there. You’re right, currently, there isn’t an option to add alt text directly in the Course Builder, but we’ll consider it for future improvements.
Have a wonderful day!
Hi, Sorry, I was wrong, the question was not for you. For now we have no problem. Thanks
Is it possible to have multiple pages for 1 lesson….am trying to have short lecture pieces for each lesson.
