After the latest update, the way WooCommerce products work has changed. Previously, when a student purchased a course through WooCommerce checkout, it appeared in a separate tab on the dashboard, displaying all MasterStudy courses.
However, this feature is no longer available, only WooCommerce products are shown there now. Please note that MasterStudy courses can still be sold directly through WooCommerce without the need for duplication.

I believe there was a misunderstanding. Typically, LMS courses appear as products in the WooCommerce product list within the admin panel. However, after the latest update, the courses no longer appear in the product list.

When a course is sold, can the payment be sent directly sent to each instructor without admin interaction? We do not take a percentage of the sales and would prefer the payment from a student go directly to each individual instructor.
I see the website course loads very slow and the certificate builder has issues with image on certificate if i place image on the certificate its not saving, and when i checked the load issue with chrome console i found one file referenced but its not found on the plugin folder this is the url:
wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system-pro/assets/js/certificate-builder/qrcode.min.js?ver=4.5.3
there is no such file exists and the theme tries to referance or calls that file, which makes the course page lods very slow looking for that file, please check and fix the issue.

3. Manually check the plugin folder (wp-content/plugins/masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system-pro/assets/js/certificate-builder/) to confirm if the file is missing.
4. Check for console errors in Chrome DevTools to see if there are other missing dependencies.

i tried downloading the plugin folder the file even don’t exist there, that means its not in your provided plugin folder, please recheck everything once again at your end and fix the issues like these at the first place.
I regularly update everything when ever i get a notification, but missing files never get updated dont know why, you investigate it at your end why it failed?

No, you don’t have to pay anything extra. For subscriptions, you can use Paid Memberships Pro (PMPro). It’s free, and MasterStudy has a seamless integration with it.
Regarding the license, there’s no need to purchase additional ones. A single license is sufficient for use in a multisite setup across all subdomains. You only need to activate it on the main domain, and it will work for all subdomains.

Is there any way to sell internationally? multi currency… with the feature to change the currency based on the location the students from? i found some plugins that works with woo commerce but those will not work with master study… any solution? please guide me.

MasterStudy works with WooCommerce. Please enable WooCommerce Checkout instead of MasterStudy Checkout to explore WooCommerce-related options. I hope this works for you, but please note that we haven’t tested it ourselves.

i fixed this by adding the woo commerce checkout short code, it was using the old checkout page, i think you need to update the documentation with clear instructions how to configure this with woo commerce… its not available in the documentation. anyway i fixed this…

I updated the woo commerce to Version 9.7.1 and it says Your theme (Master Study Child version 3) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. My LMS eLearning PRO Version 4.5.3 Basic WP LMS Version 3.5.18

Since WooCommerce updates frequently—sometimes twice a week—its templates can become outdated in the theme, even if a theme update was just released. We don’t control WooCommerce’s update schedule, but the next theme version will include the latest template updates.

How do you customize the sign up form? Currently, there are too many fields to fill out. I don’t want them to have to create a username or provide last name. First name, email and password is ideal. Thank you!

This is the BEST course plugin/template I’ve used. HOWEVER, it’s now useless. Whenever I try to make edits to course curriculum and hit ‘Save’, I get ‘Failed To Save Lesson’ errors.

The “Failed to Save Lesson” error in MasterStudy LMS, along with the 403 (Forbidden) response when making a POST request, suggests a permissions issue. Here are some possible causes and solutions:
- First of all, ensure MasterStudy LMS and your theme are up to date.
- If you have security plugins (eg., Wordfence, Sucuri, or iThemes Security) temporarily disable them and test again.
- If you have ModSecurity enabled on your server, it might be blocking API requests.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Tools → Site Health and check for any REST API errors.
- Ensure the following permissions are set correctly: Folders: 755 Files: 644
- after that go to Settings → Permalinks, change to Plain, save, then switch back to your previous setting (Post Name) and save again.
- Disable all plugins except MasterStudy LMS and see if the issue persists. If it works, re-enable plugins one by one to find the conflicting one.

Thanks for your reply. -All permissions are correct. -I tried adjusting Permalinks. -No security plugins. -I tried incognito mode in browser. -No REST API errors. -All theme files are current.
BUT, removing this from the lesson fixed it: “URL Command: http://(PC's Public IP Address):(Port)/playlist/0/content”
This URL structure was for a lesson, not a link. Apparently, an improper URL will cause an error. Good to know.

When uploading a video to YouTube, you can choose from three visibility options: Public, Private, and Unlisted. To ensure the video is only visible on your website, select the Unlisted option. This way, it won’t appear in YouTube searches, but it will be accessible through the link on your website.
I’m not entirely sure what you mean by “not shareable.” YouTube does not have a built-in option to prevent link sharing entirely. However, in MasterStudy LMS, even if a student shares the video link, only those with proper access (logged-in paid members) will be able to watch it within the course.
YouTube itself doesn’t offer a built-in way to completely prevent downloads. While there’s no download button, third-party tools can still be used to download videos. If strict content protection is a priority, you might want to look into self-hosting videos or using specialized video hosting platforms that offer better security.
For restricting access to paid members only, you can use the Paid Memberships Pro plugin. It allows you to include video lessons in membership-restricted courses. Vimeo offers two options that might help you achieve your goal:
Only on your website (Domain-level privacy): Restricts playback to specific domains, ensuring the video only works on your website.
Hide from Vimeo: Prevents the video from appearing on Vimeo while still allowing embedding.
You can find and adjust these settings in your Vimeo account.
Vimeo would be the best option for uploading videos.
