Hello, I’d like to purchase this theme for an existing site. The problem is that if I install one of the proposed demos, I risk overwriting my database, right? Do you have any solutions? Perhaps with support, could you send me pages from a demo to install manually? Another question: if I like the “blog” section of a demo, is it possible to install it on a different demo style? For example: Demo 1 has a home page, and when you click on “blog,” you get the design from demo 2. Thank you in advance and congratulations for this great work you’ve done!

1. We generally recommend installing and using our theme on a fresh WordPress installation to avoid potential conflicts or design issues. If you already have content on your site created with another theme, there could be conflicts, so it’s best to start with a clean WordPress setup.
If you’re able to manually add the demo pages to your site, you can install our theme on a test site, import the demo content, and then transfer the pages to your main site.
2. Absolutely! Porto comes with Porto Studio, which allows you to import any demo or section you need for your site. For detailed instructions, please refer to our theme documentation here: Porto Studio Documentation.

I am experiencing an issue with the header I created using Elementor on my WordPress site, which uses the Porto theme.
Issue Details: I designed my header using Elementor, setting the colors and options as desired. When I preview the header in Elementor, everything displays correctly. However, when I open my site in normal mode, the header does not load properly: only the menu and logo appear, but the colors and Elementor layout are not applied. If I go back to Elementor to edit the header, my design remains intact. Troubleshooting Steps I Have Tried: ✅ Checked Elementor display settings (set to entire site) ✅ Disabled the header in Porto > Layouts to avoid conflicts ✅ Cleared cache (Elementor, browser, and caching plugins) ✅ Regenerated Elementor CSS files ✅ Tested in incognito mode and on multiple browsers
Additional Information: I have installed Porto with a child theme. The attached screenshots show Porto’s layout structure and Elementor settings. Could you please let me know if this issue is due to a conflict between Porto and Elementor, and how I can resolve it?

You can use SEO plugin like Yoast SEO to easily add no-index to specific pages.
Yoast SEO:
- Go to the page you want to no-index.
- Scroll down to the Yoast SEO settings box.
- Click on the Advanced tab (gear icon).
- Set the Allow search engines to show this Page in search results? option to No.
- Update the page.
OR If you prefer to add a no-index tag to pages without using a plugin, you can try using a Custom Code as well.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible with the current options. We always recommend starting from scratch with a new import demo if you want to switch page builders. Using a different page builder on an existing site built with another can cause significant distortions. Additionally, using two page builders on the same site can lead to conflicts. Therefore, if you wish to switch page builders, it’s best to begin with a fresh WordPress installation.

In core WordPress login page at /wp-admin/ there is an eye to show/hide password in the password field. Is there anyway to add to add it to the theme? This should be in the login page/popup and the login form under login toggle in checkout page.

On the single product page I would like to list another products using the same value of a custom attribute (e.g. “series”). So I’ve added “Porto product attribute” into the sidebar, configured it to use the desired series attribute. It lists products with another values too. E.g. I open product with series=”AAA” but the grid contains also products with series=”BBB”. I want to see only the products with the same series value as the open product. Am I understanding it correctly? Is there any way?

We removed it from the theme over five years ago, and it is no longer supported or included. However, you can use the Slider Revolution plugin, which comes pre-packaged with the theme and is fully compatible.

It looks like you’re using the Custom Header with the template builder. To make the changes, please go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Header and edit your specific header using the page builder. After that, select the section you want to make sticky. Under the “Porto Additional Settings,” you’ll find the option “Make section sticky?” – simply toggle it ON.

If you’re using a custom layout for the single product page, please go to Porto >> Template Builder >> Single Product, and edit the specific layout from there. Next, edit the product tabs element, where you’ll find an option labeled “Hide Product Tabs.” You can select any tab you wish to hide from the settings, and this will resolve your issue. 1. In order to solve your issue, please navigate to WooCommerce >> Settings >> Site Visibility and set as “Live”.
2. The 504 Gateway Timeout error typically happens when a server takes too long to respond to a request. Even though your hosting resources are only 1% consumed, this error could still occur due to issues with server configuration, network latency, or a slow external service that the server is trying to communicate with.
Here are some possible solutions to troubleshoot and solve the issue:
PHP Timeout: If your server is running PHP, the max_execution_time directive might be too low. Increase it in your php.ini file. For example:
max_execution_time = 1000
Web Server Timeout: Check your web server configuration (e.g., Nginx or Apache). Both Nginx and Apache have timeout settings that could be affecting the response.
Nginx:
nginx proxy_read_timeout 300;
Apache:
apache Timeout 300
Alternatively, please try to reach out to your hosting provider for further help on this matter, it’s the server end issue.
