I recently purchased the theme (Order ID: 200808558) on 29 Mar 2025. After thoroughly installing the theme, I found that it does not meet my expectations and does not align with what was presented in the demo. As a result, I am unable to use it for my project.

According to ThemeForest’s refund policy, buyers are eligible for a refund when the product does not meet expectations based on its description and demo. Given that the theme does not perform as expected in my case, I believe I qualify for a refund.

Update broke basic fonction like import demo of the theme , be carefull guys and you can’t ask for the support to solve it after the expired support , so be carefull , this theme broke the function itself

Feature request: Add a language switcher option in the mobile header option Which is currently not available.

The JNews theme already has that feature. You can go to the Customizer (`Appearance -> Customize -> JNews – Header Option -> Header – Mobile Drawer Option`) and add the `Language` item to the `Drawer Content`. For more clarity, please refer to the image below.

I believe I made a mistake in purchasing this theme — I bought it just a minute ago, but unfortunately, I am unable to find any way to access support.

The support page is overwhelmed with so many products, and there is no clear forum or ticket system to submit a query. I am really disappointed with the poor user experience, and I have wasted time just trying to figure out where to ask for help.

When I enable your “Jnews – View Counter” plugin for displaying most viewed and most commented posts, the whole web site is immediately starting to be too slow.

I think it’s something to do with the way this plugin handles SQL queries in your PHP code. Key indexes are not used, but instead, it always does a full table scan etc., which means that it always has to go through all the comments in the table, e.g. for certain queries.

Is there a way this can be optimized/fixed, cause before it worked without any issues and was fast. Can it be a reason for this cause before we used Litespeed web server and now it’s on Apache, or that shouldn’t be the reason for this plugin to run this slow and slow everything else down?

Normally, if you use Content Filter by Popular Post / Most Comment (All Time) , the SQL query performance in the `JNews – View Counter` plugin should not be slow.

SQL queries may become slow if your post view summary data has grown too large and you are using Content Filter by Popular Post / Most Comment (1 Day / 7 Days / 1 Month) . To prevent excessive post view summary data, you can enable the Limit Data option in JNews > Customize Style > View Counter Setting > Data Setting.

You can check the queries performed by `JNews – View Counter` by activating the `Query Monitor` plugin, then navigating to the Database Query menu and filtering Caller by JNEWS_VIEW_COUNTER\Counter->query(). You will be able to see the query execution time in Query Monitor.

Yes I was using Content Filter by Popular Post / Most Comment for the last 24h.

The thing is that before on the last server it worked without issues (or maybe there were also issues but Litespeed handled it better then currently Apache, although everything is set up correctly if webserver is the reason, but it shouldn’t be). But now the news portal is working good and everything is fast, with no issues.

But as soon as I activate this `JNews – View Counter` plugin everything goes soooo slow even in the dashboard and in the frontend. I have time for maybe 3-4 clicks in the JNews > Customize Style section before it becomes unusable and so slow that even frontend visitors who aren’t loged in can’t access site anymore. So I can’t even install that `Query Monitor` plugin to monitor the situation.

The only solution to fix it and get back to stable situation is if I connect directly to server and uninstal folder of JNews – View Counter plugin (cause I can’t enter the dashboard>plugins anymore and uninstall it that way).

I would really like to know a solution for this problem and why is it so slow.

You can duplicate your current site using the features provided by your hosting or by using a third-party plugin to replicate the settings and options. Usually, to get the same settings, you would need to import all the data.

Regarding the license, as long as you are using the same domain (e.g., sub-domain), you can still use the same license. If the new domain is different from the current one, you would need to purchase a new license. If you want to migrate your site and the old domain is no longer in use, you can transfer the license from the old domain to the new one.

Important Feature Request: Please add option to change font sizes seperately for desktop, tablet & mobile from Jnews dashboard font option global font without any 3rd party plugin.

Currently there is only one option that applies to all screen sizes (sizes for desktop, tablet & mobile) at the same time.

The theme has serious problems. I tested everything, disabled all plugins, disabled caching but the problem is not solved.

When I add a new post to the site, users do not see it, specifically on the main page of the site in the slider, if I am logged in to the site as an administrator then I see it but if I log out of the site the posts disappear in the slider.

The issue you are facing is usually caused by cache or if the post is still in draft mode or private. If the issue is caused by cache, it can be stored on the browser side, server, CDN (like Cloudflare), or even database queries (like Object Cache or Redis). I just Found out that Jnews themes add 1,5 Mb of Autoload in WP Options Database. Is there a way to reduce or eliminate this without causing any errors?

This is one of the best templates for online magazines.

However, in the latest version, I can’t update the WPBakery plugin to version 7.2 on two of my pages. Clicking the Update button on the JNews Dashboard in the Plugin interface doesn’t work. The progress bar completes, but the original 7.1 version remains, and the update option doesn’t disappear from the Update Available interface either.

What could be the solution?
