Hi, I used your theme in the past with wpbackery builder. In the current version wpbackery is not included? What happens if I try to update? Do I still get current version of wpbackery or can I expect my site to crash?

The previous version of the UDesign theme is significantly outdated compared to the latest themes, which incorporate modern technology, features, and coding standards. If we don’t update the theme, it will eventually stop functioning, and all of our customers’ websites could be compromised. As a result, we’ve decided to update it to include the latest technology, features, and coding standards. We’ve removed outdated functionalities like shortcodes and added many new features so customers no longer need shortcodes or customizations to build their sites.
I also noticed that you’re not using a page builder plugin for your site. The latest version of the theme is fully compatible with Elementor, the most popular and user-friendly page builder plugin, which allows you to easily create your site with a drag-and-drop interface.
In my personal opinion, I recommend that you avoid updating the theme right now. Instead, create a staging site with your current version and update the theme there first. This way, your site may encounter some issues, but you can fix them on the staging site using the latest version. Once all issues are resolved, you can make the updated site live. This approach ensures that future theme updates will be smoother and hassle-free. Alternatively, if you choose not to update, you can continue using the old version for now, and your site will remain functional for a while. The decision is yours.
I’m using the Theme jewelry website and would like to know if it’s possible to enable an automatic scrolling feature for the slider. Currently, it requires manual navigation (clicking arrows), but I’d prefer if the slides transition automatically at set intervals.
Could you confirm if this functionality is available or guide me on how to activate it?

To Edit the Slider on the Homepage: - Edit the Homepage with Elementor. - Navigate to the first slider section on the page. - Click on the Advanced tab in the Elementor panel. - Enable the Infinite Loop and Auto Play options.

I finally got the demo website loaded and “sometimes” I get the white critical error screen. Sometimes the website works fine.

I have been having trouble for all my sites using the theme, for updates I get this: An error occurred while updating UDesign: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure
Sometimes I can keep trying to the update and it works, most times it is failing. Sometime a manual update works, other times it does not. With over 70 sites this is a concern. I have reached out to support and asked for help on this, but it is being done 1 site at a time verse this seeming to be more of an update issue. Please someone help. It is a great theme, but this is a problem. Thank you!

Thank you for reaching out! Yes, you can absolutely use custom SVG icons with the Icon Box Element. The glossary section refers to the default icon options available in the icon group, but you can easily upload and use your own custom SVG icons to personalize your design.

Hi, every time there is an update to the core plugin, my website goes down and sometimes I don’t realize for days or weeks. First of all, this shouldn’t happen! Why would my website go blank? Second, if this is the way it is, can there be an “automatic update” option for the core plugin? This way, my website won’t go down without me realizing.

Regarding your concern, the issue with your website going blank after updates was related to a compatibility problem with the Elementor plugin, which we have already resolved. Please make sure both your theme and the core plugin are up to date to ensure your site functions correctly.
As for the automatic update option, WordPress does offer the ability to enable automatic updates. You can activate this feature in your WordPress settings to keep your core plugin updated automatically, which will help prevent issues like this from happening in the future.

I am running the old theme and need to update to the new version that has Elementor. Can I still use wp-bakery with the theme as I don’t want to use Elementor and rebuild hundred of pages.

Currently, WPBakery is not officially listed as a confirmed plugin for the new theme version. Elementor, however, is fully supported and confirmed to work seamlessly with the theme. Thanks for the response. I have a lot of pages built in WP-bakery based on the old theme. Do these all need to be rebuilt using elementor. Is there a guide to help with this transition?

I’ve bought 4 licenses and on all 4 sites there is a fatal error when updating Elementor and Elementor Pro to the latest versions. I’ve managed to rollback the Elementor update and everything works fine.
