I need your help with a JavaScript issue related to your theme’s AJAX functionality on product category pages.
My Goal: I have created a custom plugin to apply a two-column “list view” layout to my product archives. A key feature of this plugin is a JavaScript function that truncates long product descriptions and adds a “View More / View Less” toggle link.
The Problem: The entire customization works perfectly on the first page load or after a manual browser refresh. However, the “View More” JavaScript fails to re-initialize when I navigate between product categories using the theme’s built-in AJAX links. The new products are loaded, but the script doesn’t run on them.
What We Have Tried: We have already attempted all the standard professional methods to solve this, and all have failed, indicating a specific conflict with the theme’s AJAX implementation:
We tried listening for the theme’s custom wdShopPageInit JavaScript event.
We implemented a modern MutationObserver to watch the .main-page-wrapper and document.body for DOM changes.
We implemented a global jQuery ajaxComplete handler to listen for all AJAX network requests.
None of these methods successfully re-triggered the script after AJAX navigation, even though the DOM is clearly being updated.
My Question: Could you please tell me the correct and reliable JavaScript event or method to hook into to execute a function after your category page AJAX navigation is 100% complete and the new product elements are fully rendered in the DOM?

It should work with the ‘wdShopPageInit’ event. You can make a simple test to see if the trigger works: add the following alert code inside your event function to see if it is triggered each time new products are loaded:

I have a straightforward question: Is there a simple snippet we can implement to prevent the generation of any unnecessary metadata for products that we don’t utilize?
Our philosophy is centered around “less is always more,” and we don’t use any editor tools for products. We aim for clean and simple product field data along with global design control.
Excessive data can create significant challenges as we scale. We’ve noticed that when updating products, unwanted theme metadata are added, which we never set up or use.
It would be ideal if we could bypass any unused metadata and only work with the necessary field data.
If a field is null, it shouldn’t be added at all.

Currently, we need to create a specialized more complex script to handle cases where a field is null. Below is just a snippet as we have parse $check, $object_id, $meta_key, $meta_value = null and much more to keep it clean and lean.
Specifically, we want to ignore or remove these fields during any updates, if nothing has changed. This adds another layer of complexity that we shouldn’t have to manage.

If it’s null the best practice to keep the database clean is not add it.
If a field is blank, empty, or null, regardless of the terminology, it should simply not be included. We know this is feasible because we utilize a streamlined server script for imports and synchronization outside of slow php imports.
However, when we update even a single product, unnecessary fields are now added, requiring us to clean them up during export and updates. Additionally, we need to implement a filter to identify and remove unchanged Woodmart WD meta arrays.
This extra step and additional code create unnecessary overhead, maintenance, and we would greatly appreciate your support in simplifying this process, this will benefit all.

Hello, I have created a WooCommerce attribute called “Brand” and added a logo and text so they appear on the product page; when clicking on the logo, it should open the brand page with its logo and information, but even though the link points to the correct URL, it shows a “Page not found” message. I have already checked the theme settings and everything is correctly enabled, also in the WooCommerce product settings everything is fine, and I even reconfigured the WordPress permalinks, but the issue still persists.

Hi, I’ve been having an issue with the Loco Translate plugin lately. When I first set it up, it works fine. But as soon as I switch between the child theme and the main theme, or if I move the location of the language files a few times and then try to edit one again, the plugin redirects me to the home page.
