When will you update the theme to be compatible with the latest PHP versions?

I’ve stopped using it on some sites because I can’t update the hosting PHP version.

Good Day,

It appears YouTube embedded videos (via Avada shortcode) are no longer working when using Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. No issues with Safari.

Every time our visitors click on a video, they get the folllowing error: “Watch video on YouTube Error 153 Video player configuration error.”

To see our issue live, please visit: https://www.omniaerospace.com/news/ then click the play button located inside the sidebar “Featured Video.”

Are you guys aware of this? Got fix? We haven’t changed anything on our website.

Update: Yep, I can confirm this issue affects hundreds of websites.

Team Avada may want to look into this as well. Many forums are starting to report this.

The issue occurs when embedding videos using Avada’s short code, not with Avada’s video element.

For reference, this is the shortcode we’re using (never had any issues with playing YouTube videos until last week: [fusion_youtube id=”videoID” autoplay=”0”  alignment=”center” max-height=”400” controls=”1”]

  • ROOT CAUSE IDENTIFIED AND FIXED *

As it turns out, the issue was caused by Cloudflare.

YouTube now requires the following security response header to function properly: Referrer-Policy “strict-origin-when-cross-origin”.

Cloudflare was bypassing our website’s security response header by attaching the following security response header to our website: Referrer-Policy “same-origin”

To fix this issue, I disabled Cloudflare’s HTTP Response Header setting, titled “Add security headers” as noted here: https://prnt.sc/5sFeeDVyNkk-

Afterwards, our site reverted back to its normal security response header (i.e., Referrer-Policy “strict-origin-when-cross-origin”) which works well with YouTube.

I hope this helps both Avada and others using Cloudflare.

The My Account page from woocommerce is an auto generated page and it can not be currently edited, doing that will require some customisation or a 3rd party plugin.

Hi there!

There is an extremely important issue that Avada needs to fix as soon as possible.

Google reCAPTCHA is forcing all users to migrate to the Google Cloud Platform within the next several weeks, and Avada does not have the ability to work with the new management system within Google Cloud Platform.

Any users who have migrated (Google will very soon automatically migrate every user, so this is not a choice) now cannot use the Avada Google reCAPTCHA settings or follow the Avada instructions on how to set it up. The legacy method, for those that can still use it, is also only going to be available for less than 2 more months.

Please update Avada (and your instructions) to work with Google Cloud Platform’s Google reCAPTCHA system as soon as possible.

P.S. It would also be ideal if you offered different options, such as Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha.

This change has not yet been implemented and the current Google ReCaptcha currently works just fine with the setup, also we already have released an update where you can use Turnstile element with Avada forms.

The condition was disabled for some reason which have been enabled and should work, you should be able to enable it on your own website without any issues from the off canvas conditions tab.

Why is it that when I have a very simple sticky column that works in a regular page, and if I use the same code (saved to the library) and add it to a custom layout for a single calendar event, the sticky column doesn’t work?

You can log into your My Avada support account, navigate to the “Licenses” tab, and manage the sub-domain and top-level domain registration there > https://my.avada.com/licenses/

Click the unlink icon next to the domain type for the specific purchase code > https://d.pr/i/4UYWT6 – Once you have done this, log back into the site’s backend and register Avada.

I have been using the TABLE element in a website I am building. They are typically 4 columns and 30-60 rows. Example on this page: https://gatorwebsclient1.com/actisol-compact-unit-dual-voltage/ Recently, I noticed when I look at the coding for the table in the “Text” view, it shows the coding in one big bunch and not as typical html layout would show it. It makes it very difficult to manipulate in the “text” tab view. Looks the same in visual with the table outline. I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins but with no success.

I this this is called minifying the coding from the research I have done.

Do you have any suggestions how to get the “Text” tab view back to looking like normal?

In the text mode, the table will be seen in its html format. We wdo not suggest editing the table in this mode. Please make use of the visual mode or the live editor to easily edit the table

Please clarify the following.

1. If I use the responsive views, desktop, tablet and mobile for a container, is the source code still generated for all the views, but only displays the container view selected in the frontend?

2. And if I use conditional rendering using the device type filter, will only the code for the selected device type be generated?

3. Much of my website has been created by toggling the responsive views for containers to display items on desktop, tablet, and mobile. If I switch to conditional rendering to help reduce the generated code, will having my responsive views still turned on cause any issues with the live builder or on the front end?

4. Does conditional rendering supersede responsive views?

5. Are there any plans to add conditional rendering based on the screen size, like responsive views?

This depends on how you are setting up the different device settings, if its set up using rendering options you won’t see the code being added on device when its rendered on specific devices, more about this can be read here => https://avada.com/documentation/how-to-use-conditional-rendering-in-avada/

2. Yes.

3. Responsive view and rendering options are two entirely different things, one simply tells you that how the content will appear on a specific device while other gives you option to disable the content for specific devices.

4. No, again as I mentioned they are for different purposes.

5. Not at the moment, the rendering which is device based works on the basis of breakpoints set already.

After some testing, I’ve found that the conditional rendering logic for different device types—desktop, tablet, or mobile—for containers does not adhere to the Element Responsive breakpoints I set under Avada/Options/Responsive. I tested this on actual devices and also used the Inspect feature in Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, and the results were consistent. When I use the container visibility options for small, medium, and large screens, these settings do follow the Element Responsive breakpoints. Although the container visibility options presumably use CSS display:none and generate the code regardless, they still allow me to design layouts with fixed breakpoints. It would be helpful if the Avada team could link the breakpoints set under Avada/Options/Responsive with the conditional rendering logic for different device types.
